Wrestling Lockup with Brandon, brought to you by Triple Threat CLE. It's the RAW recap from last night's show. Last night's show took place in Atlanta, Georgia, where WCW's home base used to be. I really wish WCW was still around today so WWE would put out some better ideas in their product. Now don't get me wrong, I've always been a WWE guy my whole life, but WWE really needs a major threat to light a fire under their rears to give us some good wrestling again. Last night's show consisted of John Cena and Dean Ambrose being put in a tag match together, then put in the main event against each other. A match that we've had to wait two weeks for, Rusev vs The Big Show. Dolph Ziggler vs Randy Orton and so much more. Let's get to the recap.
- In Ring Segment with Dean Ambrose, John Cena, Triple H and Stephanie McMahon: "Lunatic Fringe" Dean Ambrose kicks off RAW, inside the ring with a mic. Ambrose would love nothing more than to be locked in the Hell In A Cell with Seth Rollins so he can beat the living hell out of Rollins. Ambrose is pissed that he has to go through John Cena first in order to get his wish. Ambrose knows The Authority want Ambrose and Cena to tear each other apart to protect Rollins. Ambrose promises he'll beat Cena and Rollins at Hell In A Cell and there isn't a damn thing The Authority or Cena can do about it. Que Cena's music and out comes the 15 time World Champion. Cena tells Ambrose to relax because Ambrose vs Cena to see who gets Rollins is what the WWE Universe wants to see. Cena tells Ambrose to shut up and get ready for the biggest match of his career. Ambrose says he's ready and doesn't appreciate Cena treating Ambrose like he's a chump or Cena's best friend. Cena says he'll show Ambrose why he's been the champ 15 times and why Ambrose is out of his league. Que "The Game's" music and out comes the COO, Triple H and the billion dollar princess Stephanie McMahon. Triple H promotes Hell In A Cell and the WWE Network for only $9.99. Stephanie and Triple H make a bet that they'll have Ambrose and Cena team up tonight and they'll both beat the hell out of each other. Their tag match is now.
- "Triple Threat Match": Dean Ambrose and John Cena vs. Goldust and Stardust vs. The Usos: Cena and Ambrose score near falls early. Jey finally connects with a super kick and gets a near fall. Jey and Cena lay each other out then hot tag in Ambrose and Jimmy. Jimmy lands a kick then spills to the floor as Stardust pulled the ropes down. Stardust lands a stomp on Jey for a near fall. Goldust pulls Jey off the apron as Jimmy goes for a tag, forcing Ambrose to attack Goldust. Cena hot tags in and begins his "Five Moves of Doom" on Stardust. Cena goes for "AA" on Stardust but Stardust lands on his feet. The Usos fly over the ropes and take The Rhodes Brothers out as they both escaped to the floor. Cena hits a cross body on the Rhodes and Ambrose drops an elbow taking everyone out. Cena hits "AA" on Stardust and Ambrose hits the double arm DDT on Goldust. Cena covers Stardust for the pin. After the match Triple H and Stephanie McMahon return. Triple H apparently lost the bet with Stephanie and he hates losing. Triple H announces we're not waiting till Hell In A Cell, tonight in the main event it'll be a "Contract On A Pole Match" between John Cena and Dean Ambrose. The winner meets Seth Rollins inside Hell In A Cell at Hell In A Cell.
- Backstage Segment with A.J. Lee and Layla: A.J. doesn't like any of the Divas but hates Layla the least. Layla wants a hug but A.J. hesitates.
- A.J. Lee and Layla vs. Paige and Alicia Fox: Fox gets a near fall on a tilt-a-whirl back breaker. Paige distracts A.J., allowing Fox to toss A.J. into the turnbuckle. A.J. goes for the tag but Layla refuses to tag in. A.J. battles the odds and hits the "shining wizard" for the pin. After the match A.J. attacks Layla and tosses Layla into the ringside barrier a couple times.
- Backstage Segment with Triple H, Stephanie McMahon and Randy Orton: Orton knows Seth Rollins wants the spotlight. It's fine with Orton as long as Rollins doesn't take Orton's. Orton wants the loser of tonight's John Cena vs Dean Ambrose match at Hell In A Cell.
- Video Segment with The Wyatt Family: Bray Wyatt says that only the strong survive. Bray says he fixed Erick Rowan and the ones that scorned Rowan will fear Rowan.
- Dolph Ziggler vs Randy Orton: Cesaro is on commentary for the match. Ziggler reverses and sends Orton into the ring steps. Orton gets a near fall with a boot to Ziggler. Ziggler with a near fall after tossing Orton into the turnbuckle and followed with a drop kick. Ziggler drops Orton on the top rope for another near fall, Orton rolls to the floor after. Ziggler tosses Orton into the ring barrier outside. Ziggler escapes the elevated DDT and drop kicks Orton to the floor. Seth Rollins comes out to be in Orton's corner. Orton lands a back body drop to Ziggler on the announcers table. Orton blocks a Ziggler drop kick, sends Ziggler into the turnbuckle and gets a near fall. Orton and Ziggler battle on the ropes where Ziggler gets crotched and Orton hits a super plex. Ziggler gets a near fall on a leaping elbow. Orton blocks a super kick and gets a near fall with a power slam on Ziggler. Ziggler blocks another elevated DDT and the RKO. Ziggler misses the Famasser but lands a super kick on Orton for a near fall. Orton blocks the Zig Zag, blocks the Famasser then hits an RKO on Ziggler for the pin. After the match Seth Rollins gets in the ring and delivers a Curb Stomp on Ziggler.
- Seth Rollins vs. Jack Swagger (w/Zeb Colter): Rollins works over Swagger's arm in the match. Rollins applies submissions and stomps on Swagger's arm and elbow area. Swagger and Rollins end up on the floor where Swagger nails Rollins with a clothesline, then tosses Rollins into the ring steps. Randy Orton comes out to watch the match as Rollins suicide dives into Swagger. Rollins scores a near fall with an enzuigiri. Swagger catches Rollins as he tries a float over and plants Rollins with a suplex for a near fall. Swagger with a near fall on a Swagger Bomb, Rollins with a near fall on a belly to belly. Swagger goes for the Patriot Lock but Rollins escapes. Rollins goes for the Curb Stomp but Swagger grabs Rollins' leg and reapplies the Patriot Lock. Rollins escapes and scores the pinfall with a victory roll. After the match, Randy Orton gets in the ring and drops Swagger with an RKO.
- Backstage Segment with Dean Ambrose: Ambrose won't be nice to John Cena. Ambrose gets Cena two weeks early. Ambrose will send both Seth Rollins and Cena down the highway to hell.
- Backstage Segment with Big Show: Show talks about knocking Rusev out a few weeks back. Show proved that Rusev isn't unbeatable and he has a glass jaw. Plans on showing Rusev what he learned on his mandatory day off on last week's RAW.
- In Ring Segment with Rusev and Lana: Lana says we celebrate Columbus Day because Columbus discovered this horrible country. Columbus forced Indians out to open casinos. Americans lose money faster than the Atlanta Braves lose baseball games. Rusev threatens to crush Show and watch Show fail like his friend Mark Henry did.
- Rusev (w/Lana) vs. Big Show: Show attacks Rusev with a boot, a forearm and some chops. Show dumps Rusev on the floor then tosses Rusev into the announcers table. Show tosses Rusev into the ring barrier then back in the ring. Show sends Rusev back to the floor after a chop and tosses Rusev into the ring barrier again. Show lands more chops, head butts and kicks before Rusev finally gets in a drop kick. Rusev works on Show's back and rib area and delivers a splash. Show goes for a second rope elbow drop but Rusev moves. Show measures for the knockout punch but Rusev lands a thrust kick. Rusev works on the back then applies The Accolade on Show. Mark Henry gets in the ring and hits Rusev after Rusev locked The Accolade on Show a second time. Rusev wins by DQ. After the match Henry and Show surround Rusev. Rusev attacks Henry but gets knocked out by Show.
- Backstage Segment with Sheamus: Says one thing worse than The Miz is two Mizes. His cure for both Miz and Damien Sandow is two Brogue Kicks.
- Sheamus vs. The Miz (w/Damien Sandow): Miz hits a DDT for the near fall. Sheamus dumps Miz to the floor and follows. Sheamus grabs Sandow thinking he was Miz. Sheamus lands a Brogue Kick on Sandow, however, Miz rolls in the ring and Sheamus is counted out.
- Backstage Segment with the Divas and RAW's special guest NeNe Leakes: The Divas meet with NeNe but Cameron has a face to face issue with NeNe.
- Cameron, Nikki Bella, and Summer Rae vs. Brie Bella, Natalya, and Naomi (w/Rosa Mendes): Brie hits an X-Factor on Nikki for the pinfall. After the match NeNe joins the winners in the ring.
- Backstage Segment with John Cena: Says the WWE Universe is fired up. Cena says Ambrose is the only one with guts to stand up to Cena but guts won't win Ambrose the match.
- Video Segment: Another Wyatt Family segment. Bray Wyatt appears. Says that the world is a very scary place, the ones who protect you, are the ones you should fear the most. The spirit will guide you, it's coming.
- "Contract On A Pole Match: Dean Ambrose vs John Cena: Before the match Triple H, Stephanie McMahon, Seth Rollins, Randy Orton and Kane come to the ring to watch this match. Both go for the contract early but nothing for both. Cena hits a belly to belly after Ambrose goes for the contract. Ambrose dumps Cena on the floor as Cena went for the bulldog. Ambrose and Cena fight up the rampway. Cena goes for "AA" on the ramp but Ambrose escapes. Ambrose blocks another "AA", Ambrose goes for "Dirty Deeds" but Cena applies the STF on Ambrose. Ambrose escapes and lands a suicide dive on Cena. Ambrose into the ring steps, Cena into the ring barrier. Cena and Ambrose brawl than Cena sends Ambrose crashing into the The Authority at ringside. Orton attacks Cena. Ambrose goes after Orton. Kane and Rollins attack Ambrose. Cena stops Kane from planting Ambrose with a choke slam and lifts Kane up for "AA". Cena hits "AA" on Kane as Ambrose climbs the pole and grabs the contract to win the match. RAW closes out with The Authority, Cena and Ambrose all staring each other down.
