Wrestling Lockup with Brandon, brought to you by Triple Threat CLE. It's the TNA Impact recap from last night's show. Impact took place from Bethlehem, Pennsylvania. Some highlights of last night's show consisted of Ethan Carter III debuting his new bodyguard, now that Rockstar Spud has been booted. TNA Knockouts Champion, Havok, faces Madison Rayne with the TNA Knockouts Title on the line. In the main event there was a "Fatal Four Way Match" with Bobby Roode, Jeff Hardy, Austin Aries and Eric Young squaring off. The winner of the match will get a future title shot against Bobby Lashley and the TNA World Title. Let's get to the recap.
- In Ring Segment with Kurt Angle and Bobby Lashley: Angle is in the ring, patting himself on the back about how great TNA has been since he's taken over. Angle calls out TNA World Champion, Bobby Lashley to answer some questions. Angle has given MVP and Kenny King the night off, leaving Lashley alone tonight. Lashley comes to the ring and Angle asks him why he won't give Bobby Roode another shot at the TNA World Title. Lashley says Roode already got his shot, then asks Angle if he wants a shot now. Angle stares down Lashley then says that if it happened, Lashley would regret it. Angle, instead, makes a #1 Contender Fatal Four Way Match for a shot at Bobby Lashley and the TNA World Title. The match will include Bobby Roode, Jeff Hardy, Austin Aries and Eric Young.
- Backstage Segment with Matt Hardy and Magnus: Matt Hardy is asked his opinion about his brother Jeff being in the fatal four way tonight. Magnus interrupts and brags about beating Jeff Hardy to win the TNA World Title in the past. Magnus figured Matt would've left TNA since The Hardys didn't win the tag team titles. Matt challenges Magnus for tonight.
- "TNA Knockouts Championship Match": Havok (c) vs. Madison Rayne: Rayne tries a cross body to the floor on Havok but gets caught and slammed into the apron. Rayne unloads forearm shots but can't take down Havok. Havok traps Rayne in the corner and hits an arsenal of shoulder blocks. Rayne attempts a comeback but misses a missile drop kick. Havok choke slams Rayne, covers and scores the pinfall. Havok retains the TNA Knockouts Title.
- Backstage Segment with Kurt Angle and Devon: Devon thanks Angle for congratulating him for getting into the TNA Hall of Fame. Devon says he'll still be committed to the TNA roster.
- Backstage Segment with Eric Young: EY talks about his time as the TNA World Champion, being the underdog and how he can make lightning strike twice tonight.
- Magnus vs. Matt Hardy: Near fall by Hardy with a neckbreaker and leg drop combo. Hardy went for "twist of fate" but Magnus escaped to the floor. Hardy followed but gets tossed into the ring post and power bombed into the apron by Magnus.
Magnus hits a few clotheslines on Hardy until Hardy hits a bulldog for a near fall. Hardy hits a moonsault for another near fall. Magnus has words with the referee after trying to cheat a pinfall by holding the ropes. Hardy hits a mid air "twist of fate" on Magnus in the end to score the pinfall.
- Knux, Crazy Steve and Rebel vs. Jesse Godderz, DJ Z and Angelina Love (with Velvet Sky): Love gets in Crazy Steve's face, so Steve goes for a kiss. Godderz stops it and press slams Crazy Steve. Steve lands on his feet and hits Godderz with a leaping DDT off the ropes for the pinfall.
- Backstage Segment with Bobby Roode and Austin Aries: Roode says tonight is the night then is interrupted by Austin Aries. They wish each other luck and say that it's their chances at getting a match with Bobby Lashley. Both men agree that they'll give 100% tonight.
- In Ring Segment with Ethan Carter III and his new bodyguard: ECIII is in the ring and introduces his new bodyguard.........drum roll..........wait for it........wait for it...........it's former WWE superstar Brodus Clay, except now he goes by the name Tyrus. ECIII brags about beating Bully Ray, Sting and Kurt Angle and brags about still being undefeated in his year in TNA. Devon comes to the ring to confront ECIII. Devon says ECIII has never beaten Devon. Devon tells Tyrus he's going to put ECIII through a table then make Tyrus his bitch if he tries to stop him. Bram hits the ring and smacks Devon from behind with a trash can lid. Bram works over Devon's leg with the trash can lid and leaves Devon laid out.
- In Ring Segment with Ethan Carter III and Tyrus: After the attack on Devon, ECIII says he just beat Devon. ECIII tells Tyrus that he brought him a treat tonight. ECIII figures Tyrus wants to be undefeated too so he got Tyrus an opponent tonight. Out comes Shark Boy....what? I said out comes Shark Boy after they found him in the backstage area eating doughnuts.
- Tyrus vs. Shark Boy: Tyrus makes quick work of Shark Boy. Splash in the corner and a choke slam finishes Sharky by pinfall.
- Backstage Segment with Jeff Hardy: Tonight he has three great opponents. Tells his "creatures of the night" it's time to get the world title back.
- They announce an 8 team tournament to crown new #1 Contenders to The Wolves' TNA World Tag Team Championship, starting soon.
- "Fatal Four Way Elimination, #1 Contender Match": Jeff Hardy vs. Austin Aries vs. Eric Young vs. Bobby Roode: Hardy and Aries battled on the floor. EY and Roode mat wrestle in the ring. Hardy does a dive off Aries’ back, taking out Roode and Young on the floor. Aries goes airbourne next with a suicide dive on all three. Roode spine buster on EY for a near fall. EY, DDT on Hardy for a near fall. EY climbs the ropes for the flying elbow but Roode stops him. The tower of doom superplex comes into play as all four are taken out. Hardy goes for the "swanton bomb" but Aries stops Hardy. EY misses a moonsault and Hardy misses the "swanton bomb" putting both out. Aries hits Hardy with the brainbuster and Roode "Roode Bombs" EY. Aries covers Hardy and Roode covers EY. Pinfalls for both at the same time, eliminating Hardy and EY. Aries goes for the brainbuster on Roode, but it's reversed. Aries kicks out of a Roode pinfall, but gets locked in a crossface right after. Aries escapes and locks Roode in the "Last Chancery", Roode barely makes the ropes to break it. Aries goes for the brainbuster but gets shoved off. Aries with another brainbuster attempt but Roode kneed Aries in the gut. Aries goes to splash Roode in the corner but Roode moves. Roode hits Aries with the "Roode Bomb", covers and scores the pinfall. Bobby Roode will get another shot at Bobby Lashley for the TNA World Title. Impact closes out with Aries, Hardy and EY all back in the ring shaking Roode's hand, showing huge respect to Roode.
