By @B_Rock1978

The Weekend 3 Count is brought to you by Triple Threat CLE. This week I bring you all the news and rumors around the WWE, TNA, GFW and the Independent wrestling scene for March 9th - March 15th.

*** Weekend Flashback ***

- Are you a huge fan of hardcore wrestling? Check out this match from CZW, as Jon Moxley (Dean Ambrose) faces Brain Damage.

*** WWE News and Rumors ***

- This past week on Smackdown, former World Heavyweight Champion, Mark Henry, returned to TV, after being out with an injury since Survivor Series. Henry confronted Roman Reigns and gave his opinion on Reigns' chances against Brock Lesnar.

- The Undertaker will officially return at Wrestlemania 31 and wrestle Bray Wyatt. The plan is to still keep Taker off TV and have him return at Wrestlemania 31.

- Sources are saying that Sheamus may also be kept off TV until Wrestlemania 31. Sheamus may either be added to the WWE Intercontinental Championship Ladder Match or the 2nd Annual Andre The Giant Memorial Battle Royal.

- Rumor is, the reason Brock Lesnar walked out of RAW two weeks ago, was due to a contract deal. Rumors are saying, that Lesnar wanted to work out a new contract with Vince McMahon, that would let Lesnar work both WWE and UFC part time. Vince's response was no. No word on to whether this is true or not.

- WWE has a casting call in San Francisco for Wrestlemania 31. WWE are looking for guys to play Russian Soldiers. Rumor is they will be used as part of Rusev's ring entrance.

- WWE is also casting people to dress like scarecrows for Wrestlemania 31. Rumors are that they may be used for either Sting or Bray Wyatt's entrance.

- It looks as if The Ascension have failed on the main roster at being a dominant team like they were in NXT. The Ascension have lost three matches in a row now, one on RAW, one on WWE Main Event and one on WWE Superstars.

- The Rock will be hosting the March 28th episode of Saturday Night Live.

*** TNA News and Rumors ***

- TNA Impact ratings were up this past week and better than the following weeks.

- TNA announced a new set for TNA Impact beginning with their tapings this week from Orlando, Florida.

- Matt Hardy has officially signed a TNA contract. Hardy has been working without one the past few months.

- TNA announced that Bobby Roode, MVP, Angelina Love, Taryn Terrell, Tyrus, Tigre Uno and Rockstar Spud have all been given new contracts.

- Rumors have surfaced that Pope D'Angelo Dinero might return to TNA for the May Impact tapings. I hope this turns out to be true, I am a huge fan of Dinero.

- Matt Hardy posted a picture on his Twitter page of Gregory Helms, backstage at a TNA Impact taping. Could we be seeing Helms in TNA soon??

*** GFW News and Rumors ***

- Jeff Jarrett has been unsuccessful so far in his crusade to bring GFW to a tv channel. Jarrett is still promoting tv tapings in Las Vegas, which will be the home base for GFW.

*** Other Wrestling News ***

- Alberto El Patron (Del Rio), has been advised by doctors to take some time off. El Patron suffered a quad injury, while competing last weekend. It is believed that El Patron has a torn quad. Big hit for El Patron, as he was off to a great start in 2015, with ROH and Lucha Underground and was also on TNA's list of talent to acquire.

- This week for the first time in wrestling history, A.J. Styles faced John Morrison in a 2 Out Of 3 Falls Match, for the FWE World Heavyweight Championship. Styles defeated Morrison to become the NEW FWE World Heavyweight Champion.

- Former TNA wrestler, Homicide, is currently out of action at the moment. Homicide will be having surgery to repair a torn rotator cuff.

And that is this weekend's 3 Count. Join me every Sunday afternoon, where I give you the major stories in WWE, TNA, GFW and the independent wrestling scene. Till next time, tap or snap.
