Wrestling Lockup with Brandon 10.18.14: #Smackdown Results

Wrestling Lockup with Brandon brought to you by Triple Threat CLE. Today's edition is the Smackdown recap from last night. Smackdown this week took place in Birmingham, Alabama. Smackdown consisted of Dolph Ziggler facing Seth Rollins. A six man tag involving The Usos and Sheamus taking on The Rhodes Brothers and The Miz. In the main event we saw Dean Ambrose take on Kane. All that and more. Let the recap begin!

- In Ring Segment with Seth Rollins and Dolph Ziggler: Rollins makes fun of the fans for calling him a "sell out" then says the fans would do the same to be where Rollins is. Rollins moves on to Dean Ambrose. Rollins says Ambrose belongs in a straight jacket and guarantees that Ambrose will be carried out of Hell In A Cell. Dolph Ziggler arrives and tells Rollins that having self respect is more important then what Rollins has. Rollins says respect didn't stop him from "curb stomping" Ziggler last week and Ziggler can forget about showing off. Ziggler drop kicks Rollins and their one on one match is underway.

- Dolph Ziggler vs. Seth Rollins: Ziggler tossed Rollins to the floor and Rollins appeared to hurt his leg. Ziggler tosses Rollins into the announcers table then tries to wrap Rollins' injured leg around the ring post. Ziggler gets a near fall with a facebuster. Ziggler counters Rollins' turn buckle power bomb with a DDT for a near fall. Rollins counters the "zig zag" and Ziggler counters another turn buckle power bomb. Ziggler scores a near fall with a sunset flip. Rollins finally hits the turn buckle power bomb then the "curb stomp" for the pinfall.

- In Ring Segment with Dean Ambrose and Kane: As soon as Seth Rollins' match ended, Ambrose hit the ring and Rollins runs off. Ambrose says he finally got what he wanted, plans on tearing Rollins' face off and kicking his ass at Hell In A Cell. The Authority's favorite Corporate Demon, Kane, arrives. Kane says he likes hurting people and making them scream. So tonight in the main event it'll be Kane vs Dean Ambrose.

- A.J. Lee vs. Layla: Alicia Fox is on commentary. A.J. reverses a Layla head scissor into a bridging pin for a near fall. Layla goes for a cross body but A.J. moves. A.J. grabs Layla and locks in the "black widow" submission. Layla taps out. After the match Alicia Fox hits the ring but gets tackled by A.J. and beaten down. Paige hits the ring and lays A.J. out with the "ram-paige".

- Backstage Segment with Kane and Seth Rollins: Rollins tells Kane to save some of Dean Ambrose for Hell In A Cell. Kane says Rollins might learn a thing or two about delivering pain, so pay attention.
- Backstage Segment with Sheamus and The Usos. All three feel good about their match tonight and are ready for a fight. Sheamus makes fun of Miz and Damien Sandow. The Usos call Miz and Sandow terrible twins that want to see stars. Sheamus will make sure they see stars.

- Sheamus and The Usos vs. Goldust, Stardust and The Miz (w/Damien Sandow): Jimmy Uso hits an enziguiri on Goldust. As Goldust is stunned, Sheamus charges in and delivers a "brogue kick". Sheamus covers for the pinfall.

- In Ring Segment with Big Show, Mark Henry, Rusev and Lana: Show accepts the challenge to face Rusev at Hell In A Cell. Show is going to knock Rusev out and win by pinfall this time. Show calls out his friend Mark Henry. Henry comes out and Show asks Henry to not get involved in the match with Rusev at Hell In A Cell. Henry says Rusev is hard to beat but he will respect Show's wishes. Rusev and Lana interrupt. Lana makes fun of both Show and Henry. Rusev says Show will fail just like Henry did. Show tells Rusev to shut up then promises to choke slam, knock out and pin Rusev.

- Naomi vs. Nikki Bella: Naomi hits the "rear view" on Nikki but Nikki puts a foot on the ropes. Nikki drops Naomi across the ropes head first then hits "rack attack" for the pinfall.

- Dean Ambrose vs. Kane (w/Seth Rollins): Ambrose rolls out of the ring early to make Rollins paranoid. Ambrose sends Kane to the floor and again turns his attention to Rollins, daring him to get in the ring. Kane gets some offense in on Ambrose. Ambrose sends Kane head first into the ring steps. Ambrose nails a suicide dive and a missile drop kick, putting down Kane. Ambrose near fall on Kane with a bulldog. Ambrose goes for the double underhook DDT but Rollins distracts Ambrose. Rollins attacks Ambrose, ending the match in a DQ. Kane and Rollins double team Ambrose. Rollins turn buckle power bombed Ambrose. Kane hands Rollins a steel chair and Rollins sets up for a "curb stomp". Ambrose shoves Rollins, grabs the steel chair and connects on Kane. Ambrose puts down Kane with the steel chair as Rollins runs away up the ramp. Smackdown closes out with Ambrose staring down Rollins.
