Wrestling Lockup with Brandon 11.25.16: NXT Recap

Wrestling Lockup with Brandon, brought to you by Triple Threat CLE, brings you this week's NXT recap.

This week's NXT was the fallout from last Saturday's NXT Takeover: Toronto. The current #1 Contender to the WWE Cruiserweight Championship Rich Swann battled Kona Reeves. In the main event Liv Morgan, Aliyah, and Ember Moon battled Billie Kay, Peyton Royce, and Daria Berenato in Six Woman Tag Team action.

*** NXT ***

- Rich Swann vs. Kona Reeves: The match closes out with Reeves tossing Swann into the corner and gets a near fall. Swann comes back with Ric Flair chops, a series of forearms and is finally able to take down Reeves. Swann hits a standing splash on Reeves when suddenly SAnitY hits the ring and beats down both Swann and Reeves, throwing the match out.
Winners: No Contest

- Eric Young Promo: After the match, EY grabs a microphone and has something to say. EY says that today's society is hanging by a thread and there will be chaos. They tried it the world's way, but it got them nothing so now SAnitY is going to take what they want. No Way Jose hits the ring to check on Rich Swann and then challenges Eric Young. Jose drops Wolfe and unloads on EY, but the SAnitY numbers win out and they beat down Jose.

- Backstage, Paul Ellering says that The Authors of Pain winning the Dusty Rhodes Tag Team Classic Tournament concluded Chapter 2 in their journey. Chapter 3 begins as The Authors of Pain look towards winning the NXT World Tag Team Championship next.

- Backstage, Billie Kay and Peyton Royce reveal Daria Berenato as their third partner. All three ladies show themselves training and getting ready for all comers and announce themselves as the cool kids at the cool kids table.

- Highlights of the Tye Dillinger vs. Bobby Roode match from NXT Takeover: Toronto are shown.

- Backstage, Tye Dillinger says his loss to Bobby Roode was disheartening, he lost in front of his family and in his home town. He's not sure what's next, but won't fail again.

- Highlights are shown of the DIY vs. The Revival at NXT Takeover: Toronto are shown. 

- Backstage, DIY say that their title win was emotional and a defining win that included many obstacles in their way.

- Highlights of Asuka vs. Mickie James from NXT Takeover: Toronto are shown.

- Backstage, Mickie James says her return was amazing, Asuka was amazing, but lost respect for her when she turned down her handshake.

- Highlights of Shinsuke Nakamura vs. Samoa Joe from NXT Takeover: Toronto are shown.

- Backstage, Shinsuke Nakamura demands a rematch with Samoa Joe. 

- "Six Woman Tag Team Match": Liv Morgan, Aliyah, and Ember Moon vs. Billie Kay, Peyton Royce, and Daria Berenato: The match closes out with Aliyah hitting an enziguri, tags in Ember and Ember cleans house. Ember gets tossed outside and Liv hits an STO. Daria tags in and gets blasted with the O Face Stunner by Ember and Ember scores the pinfall.
Winners: Ember Moon, Aliyah and Liv Morgan, by pinfall.
