Wrestling Lockup with Brandon, 6.9.15: #RAW Recap

By @B_Rock1978

Wrestling Lockup with Brandon, brought to you by Triple Threat CLE. It's time for this week's RAW recap.

- RAW was live this week in New Orleans, Louisiana. RAW served as the go home show to this Sunday night's Money In The Bank pay per view on WWE Network.

- John Cena kicks off RAW in the ring for a promo. Kevin Owens cuts off Cena and says a NXT World Championship challenge would be great right now. Cena says he wants that challenge, but Owens says they'll fight on Sunday at Money In The Bank. Both men argue over what an open challenge means. Owens calls Cena delusional and says he'll let any WWE superstar come out and challenge either one of them. Neville answers the challenge and challenges Owens.

- "NXT World Championship Match": Kevin Owens (c) vs. Neville: The match closes out with Neville going to the top rope, but Owens cuts him off. Neville shoves Owens down and goes for "Red Arrow". Owens rolls out of the way, while Neville rolls through and plants a kick on Owens. Neville goes back to the top rope, but Owens shakes the ropes, causing Neville to lose his balance. Owens plants Neville with a power bomb and scores the pin.

- Summer Rae vs. Nikki Bella: The match closes out with Summer trapping Nikki in the corner and planting some knees. Nikki fights back, hits a springboard shining wizard and hits the "Rack Attack". Nikki covers and scores the pin.

- Roman Reigns is in the ring with a microphone. Reigns says he used to hate the Money In The Bank contract because it cost him the WWE World Heavyweight Championship at Wrestlemania. Reigns says he likes it now, because he'll cash in on Dean Ambrose at Money In The Bank after Ambrose wins the title and Reigns wins the briefcase. Kane comes out and says his job will be to stop Reigns at Money In The Bank. Reigns says he'll break Kane's jaw tonight instead of waiting for Sunday. Dolph Ziggler comes out and calls Kane a tool and says he'll win the Money In The Bank. Kane says all the Money In The Bank challengers will be fighting tonight. R-Truth comes out and says he doesn't fear ladders anymore and will win on Sunday. Kane says he's not in the match so Truth says "My Bad" and leaves. The New Day arrive and says when Kofi Kingston wins, they all win, cause New Day rocks. Sheamus comes out and says he's winning. Kane says everyone will have to worry about Neville and Randy Orton too.

- Sheamus vs. Randy Orton: The match ends in a no contest as Sheamus and Orton brawl on the floor. Sheamus tosses Orton over the announcers table. Orton dodges a steel chair shot and drops Sheamus on the announcers table. Sheamus and Orton brawl around ringside until they end up back in the ring where Orton hits an "RKO".

- Backstage, Seth Rollins rips into Mercury and Noble and says he doesn't need their help at Money In The Bank. Mercury and Noble tell Rollins he's nothing without them. Rollins challenges them both to any match. Noble slaps Rollins a couple times until Mercury pulls Noble off. Mercury says they'll kick Rollins' ass tonight.

- Dolph Ziggler (w/Lana) vs. Kane: The match closes out with Rusev coming out to confront Lana. Lana and Rusev argue and we see Lana fall from the stage and hurt her leg. Ziggler gets distracted as it all goes down and ends up getting choke slammed by Kane. Kane covers and scores the pin.

- MizTV with The Miz: Ryback immediately cuts off Miz and heads to the ring. Ryback says no one wants to hear Miz's usual schtick and should be glad Big Show knocked him out. Big Show is out next and says Miz was his least favorite former tag team partner, then threatens both Miz and Ryback. Miz hits Show with the microphone, but gets thrown out of the ring. Ryback hits "Shell Shock" on Show and clears the ring.

- Los Matadores (w/El Torito) vs. Erick Rowan and Luke Harper: The match closes out with El Torito getting knocked off the apron. Fernando goes to check on El Torito, as Diego goes it alone. Rowan and Harper hit their version of 3D, now being called "The Way" and score the pin.

- Titus O’Neil (w/Darren Young) vs. Big E (w/The New Day): The match closes out with Titus hitting a shoulder tackle on Big E as Xavier Woods goes to attack Darren Young on the floor. Titus gets distracted and gets planted with the "Big Ending". Big E covers and scores the pin.

- Kofi Kingston (w/The New Day) vs. Roman Reigns: The match closes out with Reigns going for the "Superman Punch", but Big E jumps on the apron. Reigns knocks out Big E as Kofi springboards at Reigns. Reigns knocks out Kofi with the "Superman Punch" in mid air and scores the pin.

- Seth Rollins vs. Mercury and Noble (w/Kane): The match closes out with Rollins throwing Mercury outside and going for the "Pedigree" on Noble. Dean Ambrose appears and tosses Rollins' WWE World Heavyweight Championship into the ring, distracting Rollins. Rollins gets rolled up by Mercury and Mercury scores the pin. After the match, Ambrose plants Rollins with "Dirty Deeds", grabs the WWE World Heavyweight Championship and celebrates on top of a ladder to end RAW.
