Wrestling Lockup with Brandon, brought to you by Triple Threat CLE. It's this week's NXT and Smackdown recap for the week.
- This week's NXT took place at NXT's home base at Full Sail University in Orlando, Florida.
- NXT kicks off with a Dusty Rhodes tribute. For those that might not have known, Dusty, had a huge impact on many of the NXT wrestlers. Many of the NXT superstars were given guidance and advice from Dusty and many considered him as their wrestling grandfather. Dusty had a huge impact behind the scenes with NXT and will be greatly missed.
- "Six Person Tag Team Match": Enzo Amore, Colin Cassady and Carmella vs. Wesley Blake, Buddy Murphy and Alexa Bliss: The match closes out with Murphy and Blake double teaming Enzo. Enzo hot tags Carmella in and Carmella unloads on Alexa. Blake and Big Cass are tagged in and Big Cass hits a big boot and the side slam. Enzo and Big Cass hit their Rocket Launcher finisher and pick up the pinfall.
- Backstage, Samoa Joe says he came to NXT to compete, he doesn't like Kevin Owens and Owens intimidating people proves that he's a coward.
- Charlotte vs. KC Cassidy: The match closes out with Charlotte hitting repeated chops on KC. Charlotte then charges and nearly rips KC in half with a spear. Charlotte locks in the Figure 8 submission and makes KC tap out.
- Backstage, Dana Brooks says she's been busy competing in fitness competitions, but now its time to shove Charlotte out the door.
- Samoa Joe vs. Kevin Owens: The match closes out with Owens fighting out of the Muscle Buster but gets hit with the uranage. Owens rolls to the floor and Joe follows. Owens goes for the apron power bomb on Joe, but he can't lift Joe. Owens and Joe begin brawling around ringside and eventually take out the referee. Owens and Joe brawl up the ramp and out come the NXT officials to break things up. Owens runs back to the ring to escape but Joe is in pursuit and the brawl picks right back up in the ring. NXT closes out with NXT officials trying to seperate Owens and Joe.

- This week's Smackdown took place in Buffalo, New York.
- Sheamus kicks off the show in the ring with a microphone. Sheamus brags about being Mr. Money In The Bank, he's on his way back to the top of the WWE and wants to know "Are we not entertained?" Dean Ambrose interrupts Sheamus, trash talks him and wants Sheamus' briefcase. Sheamus says Ambrose will have to steal it like he does everything else that he can't win. Kane interrupts and gets trash talked immediately by Ambrose. Kane announces he and Sheamus vs. Ambrose and that match is now.
- Dean Ambrose vs. Kane and Sheamus: The match closes out with Ambrose hitting a suicide dive on Kane. Kane knocks Ambrose off the top rope. Sheamus and Kane double team Ambrose until Roman Reigns hits the ring and attacks Kane, causing the DQ.
- It's announced that Dean Ambrose and Roman Reigns will face Kane and Sheamus in the main event tonight.
- Brie Bella vs. Paige: The match closes out with Alicia Fox getting involved. While the referee is distracted, Alicia knocks Paige off the top rope. Brie hits her facebuster finisher on Paige and scores the pin.
- Backstage, Kevin Owens says Machine Gun Kelly has John Cena to blame for what happened on RAW. Owens says there is no NXT World Title open challenge tonight, because people should earn it. Cesaro interrupts and challenges Owens to a match.
- Dolph Ziggler (w/Lana) vs. Bo Dallas: The match closes out with Ziggler hitting the Zig Zag on Dallas and scores the pin. After the match, Rusev is shown backstage, pissed, as Lana and Ziggler make out.
- Xavier Woods (w/The New Day) vs. Neville: The Prime Time Players arrive to back up Neville as The New Day try to take a three on one advantage. The match closes out with Kofi Kingston distracting Neville, allowing Woods to knock Neville off the top rope. The Prime Time Players and The New Day brawl at ringside. Neville hits a enziguri on Woods and then the Red Arrow for the pinfall.
- Seth Rollins is in the ring with a microphone. Rollins says he was shocked when he found out he'd have to face Brock Lesnar. Rollins says Lesnar didn't do anything on RAW because Lesnar knows Rollins is a dangerous man. Rollins is looking forward to facing Lesnar.
- Backstage, Dean Ambrose tells Roman Reigns to not let what Bray Wyatt did on RAW distract him. Reigns says not to mention Bray and he has to take care of business tonight.
- Kevin Owens vs. Cesaro: The match closes out with both men on the top rope. Cesaro hits a uppercut and a drop kick and both men go down. Owens is up and plants Cesaro with the pop up power bomb to score the pin.
- The Miz is in a segment where he criticized Big Show's new movie coming out. Miz blames Show for costing him the WWE Intercontinental Championship.
- Roman Reigns and Dean Ambrose vs. Kane and Sheamus: The match closes out with Sheamus hitting the Brogue Kick on Ambrose. Reigns comes in next and hits the Superman Punch on Sheamus. Reigns goes for the spear, but suddenly Bray Wyatt appears on the titantron. Reigns is distracted and gets hit with the Brogue Kick by Sheamus. Sheamus covers and scores the pin. After the match, Bray wishes Reigns a Happy Fathers Day as we see a picture of Reigns with his daughter, to close out Smackdown.
