Wrestling Lockup with Brandon, 6.25.15: #TNA #IMPACTLive

Wrestling Lockup with Brandon, brought to you by Triple Threat CLE.  It's this week's TNA Impact recap for the week.

- This week's Impact was live at the Impact Zone in Orlando, Florida. Tonight's Impact served as the go home show to TNA Slammiversary, live on pay per view this Sunday.

- Kurt Angle kicks off Impact in the ring with a microphone. Angle wants to talk about Ethan Carter III, but gets immediately interrupted by EC3. Angle says all EC3 talks about is himself, his ego will bite him in the ass, he'll make EC3 tap out and end his undefeated streak. EC3 says he's beaten everyone in his way and will do it again next week against Angle. EC3 chooses Matt Hardy as Angle's opponent tonight.

- "TNA X-Division Championship, Triple Threat Match": Low Ki vs. Tigre Uno vs. Grado: The match closes out with Uno hitting a step up hurricanrana on Low Ki for a near fall. Uno misses a springboard cross body, but fights back into the match. Uno hits the Corkscrew 450 and scores the pin. Tigre Uno is the NEW TNA X-Division Champion.

- Backstage, Bram interrupts Jeremy Borash and challenges anyone to fight him tonight. After Bram leaves, a gloved hand touches JB's shoulder. JB smiles and says "It's Time".

- Angelina Love vs. Velvet Sky: The match closes out with Love going to the top rope, but Velvet sweeps Love off. Love tries to rebound and hit a bicycle kick, but Velvet counters and hits a Stunner for pinfall.

- "Best of Five Tag Team, Full Metal Mayhem Match: The Wolves (2) vs. Austin Aries and Bobby Roode (1): The match closes out with The Wolves placing a trash can over Aries' head. Eddie Edwards goes for a power bomb on Aries as Davey Richards climbs the ropes. Roode is in and low blows both Edwards and Richards and puts Aries on top for the pinfall. Roode and Aries tie the series at two wins apiece.

- Global Force Wrestling owners Jeff and Karen Jarrett, shock the world, arrive in TNA and stand in the ring with a microphone. Jeff Jarrett says hell just froze over. Jarrett says TNA sent him a text message today and asked him if he would like to compete in the King of the Mountain Match at Slammiversary, his wife Karen said TNA is the past, GFW is their future and to tell TNA no. Jarrett says last time he was in TNA he was fired and wasn't given the opportunity to leave on his terms. Karen then gave him her full support no matter what he chooses. Jarrett officially announces he will enter the King of the Mountain Match and become the "Chosen One" one last time.

- Bram vs. Vader: Former WCW World Heavyweight Champion, Vader, answers Bram's challenge this week. The match closes out with Bram grabbing his trademarked turnbuckle wrench and goes to use it on Vader. The referee catches Bram and DQ's him. Bram goes to attack Vader when Matt Morgan returns to TNA and attacks Bram. Morgan unloads on Bram and clotheslines him to the floor.

- Eric Young vs. Chris Melendez: The match closes out with EY hitting the Piledriver on Melendez and scoring the pin.

- The Beat Down Clan and The Rising begin brawling throughout the arena and into the ring. Hernandez makes his return to TNA and joins the BDC in attacking The Rising. Hernandez lays Drew Galloway out with the Border Toss. MVP tells Galloway he got what he asked for.

- Matt Hardy vs. Kurt Angle: The match closes out with Hardy hitting a Twist Of Fate and getting a near fall. Hardy goes for a second Twist Of Fate, but Angle counters, rolls through and applies the Ankle Lock. Hardy tries to fight it but eventually taps out. After the match, Ethan Carter III and Tyrus hit the ring. Tyrus hits the Heart Punch on Hardy. Angle lays Tyrus out with the Angle Slam. Angle takes EC3 down and applies the Ankle Lock. EC3 taps out and yells in pain, trapped in the submission. Angle raises his hands and celebrates to close out Impact.
