Wrestling Lockup with Brandon, brought to you by Triple Threat CLE. It's this week's Smackdown recap for the week.
- This week's Smackdown took place in Houston, Texas.
- Seth Rollins kicks off Smackdown in the ring with a microphone. Rollins talks about crushing Roman Reigns dreams at Wrestlemania when he won the WWE World Heavyweight Championship. Rollins turns his attention to Dean Ambrose and says he'll end Ambrose at Money in the Bank. Dean Ambrose interrupts and says Rollins has gone soft while Ambrose has survived and gotten stronger. They'll do it one more time at Money in the Bank and they'll be no more excuses.
"#1 Contender’s, Triple Threat Match": Prime Time Players vs. Lucha Dragons vs. The Ascension: The match closes out with Titus O'Neil running down everyone with clotheslines. Titus tosses Konnor into the ropes and tosses Sin Cara over the ropes. Viktor gets a near fall rollup, but Titus comes back, hits the pump handle slam and scores the pin.
- Stardust vs. Ryback: The match closes out with Stardust getting a near fall with an inverted DDT. Ryback comes back and plants Stardust with the spinebuster. Ryback hits the "Meat Hook" and "Shell Shock" and scores the pin.
- Paige comes out with a microphone in hand. Paige says she's sick of the Bella's and their "twin magic", the Bella's hold the Divas back and she's going to show them that she has the power to change that.
- Kevin Owens is in the ring with a microphone. Owens says he beat John Cena in his first WWE match and will do it again at Money In The Bank, calls Cena delusional and won't listen to him anymore, he'll end Cena's corruption and brainwashing. Owens challenges anyone to face him with the NXT World Title on the line. Zack Ryder answers the challenge.
- "NXT World Title Match": Kevin Owens (c) vs. Zack Ryder: Owens destroys Ryder and cuts off any offense. The match closes out with Owens hitting the pop up power bomb and scoring the pin. After the match, Owens hits the cannonball on Ryder then plants Ryder with another pop up power bomb.
- Neville vs. Kofi Kingston (w/The New Day): The match closes out with Neville going for "Red Arrow", but Kofi gets pulled to the floor. Neville moonsaults off the ropes and wipes out The New Day on the floor. Back in the ring, Neville counters Kofi offense and scores a roll up pin.
- MizTV With The Miz: Lana is Miz's guest. Lana says Rusev doesn't deserve her. Miz says Lana used him and knows what she's doing. Miz announces Rusev as his surprise guest and out comes Rusev, still on crutches. Rusev says he's willing to work on things and asks for an embrace. Lana tells him where to shove his crutch. Rusev calls her a pathetic cow and out comes Dolph Ziggler. Ziggler cuts off Rusev and leaves the ring with Lana.
- Roman Reigns vs. Sheamus: The match closes out with The Authority coming to the ring. Sheamus gets a near fall rollup. Reigns mounts offense, but Kane attacks Reigns and the match is stopped. Kane choke slams both Reigns and Sheamus and announces he's added himself to the Money In The Bank Ladder Match. Kane choke slams Reigns one more time to close out Smackdown.
