Wrestling Lockup with Brandon, brought to you by Triple Threat CLE. It's time for this week's RAW recap.
- RAW was live this week up north in Montreal, Quebec, Canada....ay. Kick back, relax with a Labatt Blue and enjoy this week's RAW recap.
- Randy Orton is in the ring to kick off RAW. Orton says he'll be getting Payback on Seth Rollins, Roman Reigns will be disappointed when he loses and Orton says he's leaving Payback the WWE World Heavyweight Champion. Roman Reigns appears and interrupts. Reigns says he's getting Payback, doesn't mind breaking Orton in half in the process and brags about his win over Orton at SummerSlam. Orton brags about how many title wins he has and how Reigns needs to catch up. The New Day interrupt next. The New Day say all the negativity needs to stop, no one cares about Orton and Reigns, The New Day rocks and doesn't suck and announce that Kane has ordered The New Day vs. Reigns and Orton and that match is now.
- "Handicap Match": The New Day vs. Roman Reigns and Randy Orton: Orton hot tags in and gets a near fall powerslam. Reigns lands a "Superman Punch". Orton plants Kofi with the hanging DDT. Orton goes for the "RKO" on Kofi, but Woods gets an "RKO" instead as he goes after Orton. Reigns goes for the spear, but Kofi dodges it, causing Reigns to spear Orton on accident. Kofi covers Orton and scores the pin.
- After The Match: Kane comes out and announces that Reigns and Orton will now face each other in the main event.
- Backstage, Seth Rollins isn't impressed with what Kane did tonight and thinks he should do more. Kane announces Rollins vs. Dean Ambrose with Mercury and Noble banned from ringside. Rollins says The Authority will punish Kane for this.
- Ryback is in the ring. Ryback says he doesn't know why Bray Wyatt attacked him, is no stranger to fear, is glad to wake up everyday "hungry", Wyatt has his attention, Ryback isn't scared and it's feeding time. Out go the lights and Bray Wyatt appears. Bray says Ryback thinks he's an untouchable force but deep down he's a scared little boy, everything Ryback loves will fade away and warns Ryback to run.
- Cesaro and Tyson Kidd vs. The Ascension: Cesaro hits a clothesline for a near fall and then goes for the "Cesaro Swing". Konnar interrupts and gets dropped by Cesaro. Viktor hits Cesaro from behind as Kidd leaps over the ropes and takes out Konnar. Cesaro and Kidd hit the "Cesaro Swing"/Drop Kick combo on Viktor and score the pinfall.
- Backstage, Seth Rollins says his match with Dean Ambrose is pointless and Kane is a moron.
- Dean Ambrose vs. Seth Rollins: Before the match, Kane, announces if Ambrose wins he'll be added to the WWE World Heavyweight Championship Match at Payback, pissing off Rollins. Rollins power bombs Ambrose into the barricade and almost wins by countout as Ambrose is back in at a nine count. Ambrose takes control of Rollins, as Mercury and Noble hit the ring. Ambrose takes out Mercury and Noble as Rollins goes to attack Ambrose from behind. Ambrose dodges, rolls Rollins up and scores the pinfall. Ambrose is going to Payback for a shot at the WWE World Heavyweight Championship.
- Backstage, Seth Rollins is livid at what just happened. Kane tells Rollins he has a plan.
- Backstage, Lana is interrupted by Fandango. Fandango says the WWE Universe accepting her now is euphoric and she needs to let go. Rusev appears and is livid.
- Rusev vs. Fandango: Fandango gets Lana to do the "Fandango Dance" to the delight of the fans. Rusev beats down Fandango, hits a thrust kick, stomps Fandango's back and makes Fandango tap out to "The Accolade".
- Stardust vs. R-Truth: Stardust brings a mystery bag with him to the ring. Later in the match, Truth grabs the bag, peaks inside and gets scared at what he seen. Stardust takes advantage of the distraction and rolls Truth up for the pinfall.
- After The Match: We see Stardust had fake spiders in the bag.
- John Cena is in the ring. Cena talks about his "I Quit Match" at Payback, he never gives up, this is the last time he'll fight Rusev, after Payback the champ will still be here. Cena begins the U.S. Open Challenge and WWE Hall of Famer, Bret Hart's, music hits. Bret is here to announce Cena's opponent, but Heath Slater interrupts. Slater makes fun of Montreal and says he's sick of getting attacked from behind. So Bret Hart punches Slater in the mouth and continues with his announcement. Bret announces hometown boy, Sami Zayn, as Cena's challenger, tonight.
- "WWE United States Championship Match": John Cena (c) vs. Sami Zayn: Zayn appeared to tweak his shoulder, as a doctor checks it before the match continues. Zayn hits a suicide dive tornado DDT on the floor, on Cena. Back in the ring, Cena hits the "AA", but Zayn kicks out at two. Cena questions the referee and Zayn hits a blue thunder bomb on Cena for a near fall. Zayn and Cena trade shots. Cena hits the springboard stunner and follows with another "AA". Cena covers, scores the pinfall and retains the WWE United States Championship.
- After The Match: We get a sportsmanlike hand shake between Cena and Zayn. Zayn was still favoring his shoulder.
- Backstage, The New Day don't understand why no one wants to interview them about their big win tonight. Tyson Kidd, Cesaro and Nattie Neidhart interrupt and tell them they only won because Randy Orton and Roman Reigns hate each other. They then get "New Day Sucks" chants going with the fans.
- Nikki Bella vs. Naomi: Nikki and Brie get attacked by Naomi and the returning Tamina Snuka. The Twins are beat down and Naomi guarantees the Bella's rule over the Divas Division will soon be over.
- King Barrett is in the ring. Barrett says get used to these four words. "All Hail King Barrett".
- King Barrett and Sheamus vs. Dolph Ziggler and Neville: Barrett misses the "Bullhammer" and gets hit with an enziguri. Ziggler and Sheamus end up on the floor. Sheamus sends Ziggler into the timekeepers area. Neville goes for "Red Arrow" on Barrett, but stops and drop kicks Sheamus instead. Neville springboards at Barrett, but eats a "Bullhammer". Barrett covers Neville and scores the pin.
- Roman Reigns vs. Randy Orton: Before the match begins, Noble announces himself special guest ring announcer. Mercury announces himself special guest time keeper. Kane announces himself special guest enforcer. Seth Rollins announces himself special guest commentator. Orton hits the hanging DDT on Reigns and goes for the "RKO". Reigns counters and hits the "Superman Punch". Kane grabs Reigns' ankle and the two trade blows. Mercury and Noble jump Orton on the floor and Kane and Rollins soon join in. Reigns hits a suicide dive and wipes out everyone on the floor. Reigns is tossed into the ring post and Orton gets beat down in the ring. Dean Ambrose hits the ring and clears out The Authority, except for Rollins. Reigns spears Rollins. Orton hits an "RKO" on Reigns. Ambrose plants Orton with "Dirty Deeds".
- RAW closes out with Dean Ambrose standing tall.
