Weekend 3 Count 5.18.15 - 5.24.15 #WWE #TNA #GFW #ROH

By @B_Rock1978

It's the Weekend 3 Count, brought to you by Triple Threat CLE. The W3C, brings you news and rumors going on around the wrestling world. Whether it's WWE, TNA, GFW, ROH, Lucha Underground or the independent wrestling scene, I'll talk about it.

*** WWE News and Rumors ***

- Joe's Gonna Kill You! Samoa Joe officially made his WWE debut this week. Joe appeared at NXT and went face to face with NXT World Champion Kevin Owens.

- It was announced at WWE Payback that "Stone Cold" Steve Austin will run another podcast on WWE Network on June 1st, right after RAW. Austin's guest will be Paul Heyman. Austin has also been signed on to do more future podcasts which will include The Undertaker and Sting as guests.

- There has been talk recently of the WWE possibly going with a Seth Rollins vs. Triple H feud by early fall.

- WWE announced that the cast of the TV show Entourage will be on the May 25th RAW.

- Adam Rose announced on Twitter this past week that The Rosebuds are no more. Could this be a sign that we'll get Rose's old Leo Krueger gimmick soon?

- WWE have signed Bellator fighter, Gzim Selmani. Selmani is 20 years old and hails from Albania.

- WWE announced they have hired former NWA World Champion Adam Pearce as a WWE coach and producer.

- 2K Games announced that they will be releasing WWE2K16 on PlayStation 3 and 4 and Xbox in October 2015.

- Wooooo Nation with Ric Flair had WWE Hall of Famer, Bret "The Hitman" Hart on his show this week. Bret and Ric talked about coming up in the business, the Montreal Screwjob, Bret's WCW run, wrestling Steve Austin, his rumored hatred with Hulk Hogan and his opinion on his brother Owen Hart's, wife, Martha, refusing to let WWE remember Owen.

*** TNA News and Rumors ***

- Destination America Clause: It was made clear this week by Destination America, that apparently they have an out clause with TNA. Destination America has the right to cancel TNA Impact this September, if they don't meet ratings goals, even though TNA signed a two year deal. As of right now, rumors are pointing at TNA Impact getting cancelled in September. This is horrible news for TNA who just can't catch a break to get their product out there.

- Rumors also broke this week that TNA President, Dixie Carter, sent out an email, referring to the bosses at Destination America as being "Dummies". The email was accidentally sent to them, which was ment for someone else. It's unknown if this is true and if it was sent before or after Destination America announced their cancel clause.

- Sources have said that Eric Bischoff, his Bischoff-Hervey Enterprises and son Garrett Bischoff are suing TNA for $115,000, claiming they are still owed that from their time in TNA.

- TNA didn't run an episode of Impact this past Friday. Instead they showed the whole three hour telecast of last year's Slammiversary. Impact will return this Friday in what they are advertising as May Mayhem.

- TNA will have a United Kingdom tour at the beginning of 2016. Tickets for the U.K. events will be going on sale at the end of May.

- The Menagerie have been added to the Alumni page on TNA.com. Judging by this, it's believed that all members have left TNA.

*** GFW News and Rumors ***

- Holla if ya hear me! "Big Papa Pump" Scott Steiner has officially signed on with GFW wrestling.

- GFW announced they have taken Scott Hall off their roster. Hall has checked himself back in with Diamond Dallas Page due to drinking problems again. There was also talk that Hall personally dropped out of GFW because he was afraid he'd upset WWE.

*** Other Wrestling News ***

- Ring Of Honor announced that they have signed Quinn "Moose" Ojinnaka to a new contract. What's interesting about this is Moose was just advertised last week on the GFW roster. ROH have stated that none of their contracted wrestlers will be allowed to wrestle for GFW. Sources are expecting Moose's name to be quietly removed from the GFW roster, no questions asked. .

- Former TNA Knockout Sarita was used as an extra at NXT Takeover: Unstoppable. Sarita was used as an extra in Tyler Breeze's entrance.

- File this one under "You've Got To Be Kidding": The original Diva and WWE Hall of Famer, Tammy Sytch (Sunny), has announced that she has just signed a deal with ViVid to make hardcore pornos. Yes you read that right, Sunny will be making pornographic movies. Guess she's trying to jump start her wrestling career, in a different way.

- Here's a wrestling fun fact. Last week Tommy Dreamer competed at an NXT live house show. Dreamer is currently a non-contracted producer for TNA and he competed on a WWE show. Dreamer was apart of both shows on the same night (taped TNA, live NXT). Last time that happened was when WWE taped an episode of RAW with Rick Rude and DX and then Rick Rude showed up on a live WCW Nitro the same night.

*** Twitter Corner ***

We all tweet out to our favorite celebrities and hope they respond back, we all do it don't lie. For the past couple months, I've been sending tweets out to many wrestlers whenever I think of a question that involves them, hoping they'd answer back. Those couple months I've struck out, no answers from any of the guys or gals I've tried to talk to. I'm thinking to myself the whole time maybe they have a busy schedule, maybe the question wasn't interesting enough to answer, maybe they just don't answer questions on Twitter, or maybe why answer a question from an unknown Joe Blow from Cleveland, Ohio. Well my luck changed a little bit this week.

With Tommy Dreamer showing up on NXT, I tweeted out to the former ECW World Champion on Sunday and asked him:

That was so cool, not only cause it was the ECW Icon, but because he took the time out of his schedule to hit me up and answer my question.

I'm going to keep hitting Twitter and hope to be able to get more questions answered by wrestling stars past or present, to make this a weekly segment in the W3C.

And that's your Weekend 3 Count. Join me next Sunday afternoon for more news and rumors around the wrestling world.
