Wrestling Lockup with Brandon, 5.26.15: #RAW Recap

Wrestling Lockup with Brandon, brought to you by Triple Threat CLE.  It's time for this week's RAW recap. Before I began I just want to take a moment to say Happy Memorial Day and thank you to all those who have served our great nation.

- RAW was live this week in Uniondale, New York. RAW served as the go home show to WWE Elimination Chamber, this Sunday.

- RAW also had the cast from Entourage as special guest hosts, premoting their upcoming reunion movie.

- RAW opens with The Authority in the ring. Seth Rollins says Dean Ambrose acted like a thug to get his title shot, The Authority was forced to make the match, they could take away the title shot and fire Ambrose, but chose not to because Ambrose isn't even on Rollins' level. Triple H orders Ambrose to come out. Ambrose comes out and brags about how he got the title shot, says the resident lunatic could be the next champion. Ambrose and Rollins trade more verbal shots until Roman Reigns comes out. Stephanie McMahon stops everyone and announces right now, Kane and Rollins vs. Ambrose and Reigns.

- Roman Reigns and Dean Ambrose vs. Kane and Seth Rollins: The match closes out with Rollins blocking "Dirty Deeds" and then ducking the Ambrose clothesline. Ambrose and Rollins trade holds back and forth until Ambrose back slides Rollins and scores the pin.

- Backstage, Dean Ambrose is reminded he still has to sign the contract for his title shot tonight. Mercury and Noble jump Ambrose, but Ambrose takes them both down and knocks out a camera man on accident.

- Rusev vs. R-Truth: Rusev apparently has moved back to Bulgaria and no longer supports Russia. The match closes out with Rusev stomping on Truth's back and applying "The Accolade" submission. Truth has no choice but to tap out.

- Rusev is in the ring with a microphone and asks Lana to come out. Lana comes out and goes face to face with Rusev. Rusev knows Lana cares about him, wants to crush America with him and asks for everything to be forgotten. Rusev and Lana hug and it appears they've made up. Rusev, however, now wants Lana to admit she was wrong. Lana says she wasn't wrong. Rusev says Lana needs to know her place and he owns Lana. Lana says Rusev is a liar, a quitter, can't take responsibility for his own actions, is no longer Rusev's victim and will never listen to him again. Rusev throws a fit in the ring as Dolph Ziggler comes out and makes out with Lana on the stage.

- Backstage, Triple H, Seth Rollins, the camera man and two police officers confront Dean Ambrose. The camera man looks to have been forced into pressing charges on Ambrose by The Authority. Ambrose is handcuffed and escorted out. The Authority taunt Ambrose as he's loaded into the back of a police van.

- King Barrett vs. Ryback: The match closes out with Barrett hitting "Winds of Change" for a near fall. Barrett slaps Ryback, but Ryback plants Barrett with a spine buster. Ryback hits "Shell Shock" and scores the pin.

- Backstage, Triple H says Dean Ambrose won't be able to sign the contract tonight so his match with Seth Rollins is cancelled. The cast of Entourage appear and plug their movie. They mention Ronda Rousey being in it and laugh about Stephanie getting beat up by Ronda at Wrestlemania. Stephanie angerly points them to their dressing room.

- Stardust vs. Neville: Stardust has words with actor Stephen Amell at ringside. Mid-match we see Bo Dallas come out to watch the match. The match closes out with Neville hitting the "Red Arrow" and scoring the pin. After the match, Dallas tells Neville to just "Bo-Lieve" and then kicks Neville's injured leg.

- Backstage, the Entourage guys meet up with Zack Ryder, plan out an idea for tonight and blow off the Divas, who try to talk to them.

- Dolph Ziggler vs. Sheamus: The match closes out with Ziggler getting a near fall "Famasser". Ziggler counters "White Noise" and a "Brogue Kick". Rusev runs to the ring and gets hit with a super kick by Ziggler. After the distraction, Ziggler gets hit with a "Brogue Kick" and Sheamus scores the pin. After the match, Rusev attacks Ziggler, stomps on his back and applies "The Accolade" submission, all while staring at Lana.

- John Cena is in the ring with a microphone. Cena talks about Kevin Owens, many believe Owens is the man to change things, Owens proved he can start a fight but will have to prove he can finish one at Elimination Chamber. It's U.S. Open Challenge time and out come the cast of Entourage. The Entourage boys announce Cena's challenger tonight......Zack Ryder.

- "WWE United States Championship Match": John Cena (c) vs. Zack Ryder: The match closes out with Ryder getting two near falls with the "Broski Boot" and the "Rough Ryder". Ryder misses a 450 splash allowing Cena to hit "AA" and score the pin. John Cena retains the WWE United States Championship. After the match, Cena helps Ryder up and Ryder leaves with the cast of Entourage. Cena celebrates his win, but gets run over from out of nowhere by Kevin Owens. Owens plants Cena with the pop up power bomb, raises his NXT World Title in the air and again steps on the U.S. Title.

- Backstage, The Authority are impressed with Kevin Owens. Seth Rollins says he's known Owens a long time and he isn't that great. Dean Ambrose will still be given till the end of the night to sign his contract, if not than he losses his Elimination Chamber title match.

- Tamina Snuka vs. Paige: The match closes out with Naomi distracting the referee, as she tries to hit Paige. Tamina catches Paige and plants her with a samoan drop to score the pin. After the match, Naomi and Tamina stare down The Bella Twins at ringside.

- The New Day are in the ring with microphones. The New Day say they're being persecuted for being positive, not happy defending their tag titles at Elimination Chamber and call the fans losers. Kane comes out and announces The New Day will compete in a 10 on 3 handicap match, now.

- "10 On 3 Handicap Match": The New Day vs. Cesaro, Tyson Kidd, Los Matadores, The Ascension, The Prime Time Players and Lucha Dragons: The match closes out with The New Day winning by DQ as all ten men beat down The New Day at once. A brawl breaks out between all six teams and ends with The New Day standing tall in the ring.

- "Dean Ambrose Contract Signing For The WWE World Heavyweight Championship": Seth Rollins calls Dean Ambrose a criminal. Stephanie McMahon says Ambrose struck a WWE employee, but they've been advised by lawyers to not talk about it. Triple H announces that since Dean Ambrose never signed the contract then his contract is voided. Roman Reigns hits the ring and tackles Rollins. Reigns fights off Kane, Mercury and Noble. The Authority finally gain control and beat down Reigns. Kane lands a choke slam as a police van pulls into the arena. Dean Ambrose hops out of the van and runs to the ring. Ambrose and Reigns unload on The Authority. Kane gets clotheslined. Reigns and Ambrose take turns hitting Rollins. Reigns spears Mercury and Noble at the same time. Reigns hits a "Superman Punch" on Kane. Ambrose plants Kane with "Dirty Deeds". Ambrose grabs the contract and signs his name, making the Elimination Chamber World Heavyweight Championship Match official. Reigns and Ambrose stare down Triple H, Stephanie and Rollins as RAW closes out.
