It's the first big WWE pay per view of the year, it's the Royal Rumble! The match starts with two superstars, then another superstar enters every ninety seconds. The match continues as thirty superstars enter the Rumble, until one man is left standing. That man is given the biggest opportunity and biggest career moment in his career. He gets to main event Wrestlemania and receive a WWE World Heavyweight Championship Match.
This year's Royal Rumble takes place in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, home of the Eagles, Phillies, Flyers and 76ers. A city best known for their Philly Cheesesteaks and Rocky Balboa. Tonight, Philly will be known for something else. Philly will be known as the city that crowns a new #1 Contender to the WWE World Heavyweight Championship.

- 30 Man Royal Rumble: It's the big one. The match that will make or break your career. The match that makes every little boys dream of main eventing Wrestlemania come true. The Royal Rumble has honored it's winner with a WWE World Heavyweight Championship Match at Wrestlemania since the idea was first introduced at Wrestlemania 9 when Yokozuna became the first Royal Rumble winner that year to earn a title shot. Many wrestling greats have won the Rumble, wrestling greats like Shawn Michaels, Triple H, Bret Hart, Brock Lesnar, Steve Austin, John Cena, The Undertaker, The Rock, Randy Orton, Edge, Batista and even an underdog like Rey Mysterio has won the big one. Who's walking out this year and main eventing Wrestlemania 31?
- "WWE World Heavyweight Championship, Triple Threat Match": Brock Lesnar (c) vs. John Cena vs. Seth Rollins: John Cena finally gets to cash in on his #1 Contendership that he earned back at Hell In A Cell when he defeated Randy Orton in a #1 Contenders match. This will be Cena and Lesnar's fourth and possibly final match against each other since Lesnar's return in 2012. Cena took the first match at Extreme Rules 2012. Lesnar dominated Cena at SummerSlam 2014 in their second encounter winning the WWE World Heavyweight Championship from Cena. Cena took the third match at Night of Champions 2014 by DQ due to Seth Rollins interfering. As a reward for helping The Authority return to TV, Triple H inserted Seth Rollins into the title match and made it a Triple Threat Match. Rollins, looks to finally win the WWE World Heavyweight Championship and solidifying his spot as the future of the WWE. Rollins also still has the Money In The Bank briefcase in his possession. Could Rollins cash in if he fails to win the title in the triple threat? Who will leave Royal Rumble the champion? Whoever it is will move on to defend the WWE World Heavyweight Championship against the Royal Rumble winner at Wrestlemania 31.
The Miz and Sandow look to win back the WWE World Tag Team Championship, as they get their rematch against the team they lost the titles to, The Usos. The Usos have had their issues with Miz and Sandow leading up to tonight. The feud started when Miz tried to help Jimmy Uso's wife, Naomi, hit it big in Hollywood. Jimmy Uso thought Miz was full of it and had no intentions of helping Naomi at all. The tension and jealousy built up a little between Jimmy and Naomi a few weeks after. The Miz and Sandow also look to be becoming jealous of each other, as Sandow has the fans backing him and both men claim they will win the Royal Rumble. What will happen when these two teams meet? Will The Usos retain? Will Miz and Sandow regain? Will Naomi stay loyal to Jimmy Uso? Can Miz and Sandow still get along?
- The Ascension vs. New Age Outlaws: This match was thrown together after this past Monday's RAW Legends Reunion Show. The Ascension interrupted the nWo and disrespected Hall, Nash and X-Pac. The Ascension claimed to be the past, present and future of the tag team division and looked to wipe out the nWo. The APA and The New Age Outlaws made the save and took out The Ascension. Tonight, we get tag team action as The Ascension look to prove to the WWE Universe that they are indeed the team of the future and will destroy any team in their path. The New Age Outlaws look to stand up for all the legend teams that The Ascension have disrespected and shut the newcomers up once and for all. Who will come out on top? The Ascension, who's hell bent on destruction? Or the legends and former Degenerates, known as the New Age Outlaws?
- Paige and Nattie Neidhart vs. Nikki and Brie Bella: Paige and Nattie have had their issues with the Bella Twins this past month. The WWE Divas Champion, Nikki Bella, is looking at solidifying her spot as the top champion in the division. Brie Bella, forgiving and forgetting everything Nikki used to turn on her over the fall, now backs her sister again. Nattie Neidhart and Paige, now best friends, team together and look to bring the Bellas down a notch or two. Which divas team comes out on top? And let's not forget about Nattie's husband, Tyson Kidd, who's also seemed to be taking a liking to the Bellas.
- "Elimination Match": The New Day vs. Adam Rose, Tyson Kidd and Cesaro: The newly formed faction of The New Day have arrived. Kofi Kingston, Xavier Woods and Big E. make up the overly excited trio. Adam Rose, Tyson Kidd and Cesaro have had their issues with The New Day this past month. Kidd and Cesaro recently formed a tag team together. Adam Rose looks to have put himself on the edge of the dark side, after attacking The Bunny in his Exotic Express and has been grewing apart from his Rosebud friends. Which new team will walk out the victors tonight?
So there is this year's card for the 2015 Royal Rumble. And now it's a new year, so it's time for something new. Every pay per view preview I post I will put my predictions on who I think will win each match and keep track of my wins and losses throughout the year.
** My Predictions **
- The New Day defeat Kidd, Cesaro and Rose.
- The Bellas defeat Neidhart and Paige.
- The Ascension defeat New Age Outlaws.
- Brock Lesnar defeats Cena and Rollins. Rollins doesn't cash in money in the bank.
- Royal Rumble winner: Daniel Bryan
