Wrestling Lockup With Brandon 6/6/17: RAW Wilkes-Barre Recap

One night removed from WWE Extreme Rules and it's time for Monday Night RAW! Samoa Joe is rolling into WWE Great Balls of Fire the new #1 Contender to the WWE Universal Championship, The Miz is the new WWE Intercontinental Champion and Sheamus and Cesaro are the new WWE RAW World Tag Team Champions. All that and still two huge answers have yet to be revealed...."Who's attacking Enzo?" and "Who's sending texts that could ruin Kurt Angle as the RAW GM?" RAW was live this week in Wilkes-Barre, Pennsylvania.

- Roman Reigns battled Bray Wyatt.
- WWE RAW World Tag Team Champions Sheamus and Cesaro battled Heath Slater and Rhyno.
- TJ Perkins battled Mustafa Ali.
- Kalisto battled Titus O'Neil.
- Enzo and Big Cass battled Luke Gallows and Karl Anderson.
- WWE RAW Women's Champion Alexa Bliss defended her title against Nia Jax.
- Samoa Joe battled Seth Rollins.

- Bray Wyatt puts everyone from the Fatal Five Way Match on his list of the guilty that will be punished. 

- Elias Samson is back with another personally written song.

- New #1 Contender Samoa Joe faces off with Paul Heyman.

- Goldust presents another Shattered Dreams Video. R-Truth responds with another What's Up Production Video.

- New WWE Intercontinental Champion The Miz and Maryse celebrate The Miz's WWE Intercontinental Championship win with a celebration.

** RAW **

- Bray Wyatt Promo: Bray says he could've slayed The Beast and saved us from damnation, but he was stabbed with his own sword. Bray says the other four men that were in the Fatal Five Way Match are all guilty and will be punished. Bray says he's starting tonight with Roman Reigns. Reigns hits the ring and their match is now.

- Roman Reigns vs. Bray Wyatt: The match closes out with Reigns hitting the Drive By and Bray hitting a clothesline. Both men are back in the ring by 8. Bray goes for Sister Abigail, but Reigns counters out with a near fall rollup. Reigns drills Bray with a Superman Punch then follows with the spear to score the pinfall.
Winner: Roman Reigns, by pinfall.

- Backstage, Enzo says once he finds out who's attacking him that person is catching a charge. Big Cass says he feels insulted that everyone thinks it's him doing it. Cass says he's watching Enzo's back from now on.

- Backstage, Alexa Bliss asks Kurt Angle where her congratulations are. Alexa says she's moving on from Bayley and wants to celebrate her own life tonight. Angle says it's a horrible idea just like last week's segment with Alexa was horrible. Angle reminds Alexa that she still owes Nia Jax and title shot and Nia gets it tonight.

- Elias Samson Promo: Elias Samson sings a song ripping on Wilkes-Barre and Dean Ambrose. Ambrose interrupts, hits the ring, and attacks Samson. Ambrose unloads on Samson and dumps him over the barricade. Ambrose grabs a microphone and demands a rematch with The Miz tonight. The Miz and Maryse appear on the TitanTron and announces no rematch tonight for Ambrose because tonight is The Miz's Comeback Tour Celebration. Samson attacks Ambrose during the distraction and hits the swinging neck breaker.

- Backstage, Dean Ambrose demands Kurt Angle to tell him where The Miz's dressing room is. Angle promises Ambrose his rematch, but not tonight because Miz has a contract agreement that he can have his celebration tonight. Angle suggests that Ambrose leave the building and take the night off.

- Samoa Joe Promo: Joe says he doesn't fear Brock Lesnar because he's far too envious of Lesnar. Joe wants everything Lesnar has right now, his schedule, his contract, his title and Paul Heyman. Joe wants Paul Heyman to be his agent and lead him like he does Lesnar. Paul Heyman interrupts and heads to the ring. Heyman says Joe doesn't fear Lesnar and for the record Lesnar doesn't fear Joe either. Heyman calls Joe a worst case scenario that wants to bring the fight to Lesnar because Joe doesn't give a damn. Heyman knows that Lesnar will not leave without a piece of him being taken by Joe at WWE Great Balls of Fire. Heyman promises that if it's Brock Lesnar he wants it's Brock Lesnar he's going to get. Joe and Heyman shake hands. Before Heyman can leave, Joe corners Heyman and tells him that he's upset that Lesnar isn't here so Joe wants Heyman to give Lesnar a message for him. Joe applies the Coquina Clutch submission on Heyman and chokes him out to end the segment. 


- Backstage, Kurt Angle isn't happy with Samoa Joe. Joe says he'll take out everyone that gets in his way to Brock Lesnar. Seth Rollins interrupts and says he'd like to get in Joe's way. Angle makes the match official tonight.

- Cesaro and Sheamus vs. Rhyno and Heath Slater: The match closes out with Cesaro pulling Rhyno off the apron, distracting Slater. Sheamus hits the Brogue Kick on Slater and scores the pinfall. After the match, Sheamus and Cesaro mock The Hardy Boys.
Winners: Cesaro and Sheamus, by pinfall.

- Backstage, TJ Perkins asks Neville about his title shot. Neville tells Perkins to have patience. Perkins demands his shot now because he's done everything Neville has asked. Neville tells Perkins to take care of Mustafa Ali tonight and he'll talk to Kurt Angle.

- TJ Perkins vs. Mustafa Ali: The match closes out with Ali going for the 450 Splash, but Perkins counters with knees up. Perkins hits the Detonation Kick on Ali and scores the pinfall. After the match, Neville arrives and says he talked to Kurt Angle about Perkins' title shot and Angle said no. Perkins says he's going to go talk to Angle. Neville attacks Perkins from behind, lays him out and promises Perkins his title shot on 205 Live.
Winner: TJ Perkins, by pinfall.

- Goldust's Shattered Dreams Video: Goldust is back with another video. Goldust mocks R-Truth for trying to sit in the directors chair last week. Goldust says that soon the biggest names in Hollywood and the brightest stars in the sky will be covered in gold. He says it's going to be so beautiful because the Golden Age is back.

- Backstage, Alexa Bliss asks the other ladies if any of them are mad that Nia Jax has a WWE RAW Women's Championship Match tonight. Everyone laughs at Alexa and tell her that she has a Nia Jax problem now.

- Kurt Angle is at ringside talking to Corey Graves and showing Graves another text message he received. Michael Cole asks what's going on but Graves ignores the question.

- Kalisto vs. Titus O'Neil: The match closes out with Titus dominating Kalisto and then yells at Crews that this is how you get things done. Kalisto rollups up Titus and scores the pinfall with a handful of tights after Titus tried to do the same to Kalisto.
Winner: Kalisto, by pinfall.

- Backstage, Enzo finds Big Cass laid out. Cass doesn't know who did it, but Cass has Enzo's chain necklace in his hand. Enzo says someone planted the chain on Cass. Cass can't compete in their tag match forcing Enzo to be down a partner.

- The Miz's Comeback Tour Celebration: Maryse praises her husband and then announces The Miz to the ring. The Miz says he is here to restore the WWE Intercontinental Championship to the height and glory it deserves. Miz and Maryse propose a toast with their champagne. Miz thanks Maryse for the balloons, champagne, the dancing bear and putting everything together for him. Maryse says she didn't get him a dancing bear. Miz attacks the dancing bear thinking it's Dean Ambrose and hits a Skull Crushing Finale on the bear. Miz unmasks the bear and it's just an unknown man. Miz tosses the man outside as a large present is wheeled to the ring. Miz grabs a steel chair and beats on the present as Maryse tells Miz to stop. Maryse says it was her gift he destroyed which was a grandfather clock. Maryse says Miz ruined everything and storms off. Miz blames Ambrose for this and demands to know where he's hiding. Miz goes on a rant about Ambrose as a camera man sneaks in the ring and stands behind Miz. Miz turns around and gets planted with Dirty Deeds by the camera man who reveals himself as Dean Ambrose. Miz is laid out as Ambrose drinks his champagne.

- Enzo and ???? vs. Luke Gallows and Karl Anderson: Big Show takes Big Cass' place in the match. The match closes out with Show hitting the choke slam on Anderson. Enzo follows up and he and Show do the Rocket Launcher to score the pinfall.
Winners: Enzo and Big Show, by pinfall.

- Backstage, Enzo, Big Show and Big Cass all meet up and Cass thinks it's funny that someone's been jumping Cass and Enzo the past few weeks and Show magically appears. Enzo kills the tension between the two and invites Show out with them. Show declines the invitation. 

- R-Truth's What's Up Productions Video: Truth says he's coming for Goldust, Goldust turned his back on Truth, so Truth is turning his back on Goldust and promises Goldust he'll get got.

- "WWE RAW Women's Championship Match": Alexa Bliss (c) vs. Nia Jax: Dana Brooke and Mickie James watch from ringside. The match closes out with Nia totally dominating Alexa. Alexa rolls outside for a break and sees Dana and Mickie watching her. Alexa purposely shoves Dana and Mickie to get them to attack her for the DQ win. After the match, Dana and Mickie beat down Alexa until Nia steps in. Alexa drop kicks Nia and escapes. An angry Nia attacks Dana and Mickie now for interfering and lays them out.
Winner: Alexa Bliss, by DQ, to retain the WWE RAW Women's Championship.

- Backstage, Paul Heyman is receiving medical attention when Brock Lesnar calls him. Heyman says it's time to instill the fear in Samoa Joe. Heyman wants Lesnar to come to RAW next week and unleash The Beast.

- Samoa Joe vs. Seth Rollins: The match closes out with Joe going outside and getting hit with a Rollins suicide dive. Rollins hits a springboard clothesline on Joe for a near fall. Joe and Rollins trade shots until Rollins gets a near fall Falcon Arrow. Rollins goes to the top rope, but the lights suddenly go out and Bray Wyatt's graphic plays on the TitanTron. The lights pop back on, but there is no Bray Wyatt anywhere. Joe grabs Rollins on the distraction and locks in the Coquina Clutch submission forcing Rollins to tap out.
Winner: Samoa Joe, by submission.
