Wrestling Lockup With Brandon 10/24/17: RAW Green Bay Recap

It's the beginning of the week and time to kick things off in wrestling with Monday Night RAW, live from Green Bay, Wisconsin. This week's RAW took place one night removed from WWE TLC. Kurt Angle, Seth Rollins and Dean Ambrose defeated Team Miz in the WWE TLC main event. What new feuds began as WWE moves towards WWE Survivor Series in November??

** Monday Night RAW Card **

- WWE RAW World Tag Team Champions Dean Ambrose and Seth Rollins and Smackdown Live's AJ Styles battled WWE Intercontinental Champion The Miz, Sheamus and Cesaro in a Six Man Tag Team Match.
- Kane battled Finn Balor.
- Asuka battled Emma.
- Jason Jordan battled Elias Samson.
- Sasha Banks, Bayley and Alicia Fox battled it out in a Triple Threat Match to determine a team captain for the 5-On-5 Women's Match at WWE Survivor Series. 
- WWE Cruiserweight Champion Enzo Amore, Drew Gulak, Noam Dar, Ariya Daivari and Tony Nese battled Kalisto, Gran Metalik, Mustafa Ali, Rich Swann and Cedric Alexander in a Ten Man Tag Team Match.

- RAW GM Kurt Angle announces WWE Survivor Series news.

- Kane let's his voice be heard about Braun Strowman.

- WWE Universal Champion Brock Lesnar returned to answer the challenge from WWE World Heavyweight Champion Jinder Mahal.

** RAW **

- Kurt Angle Promo: Angle thanks the fans and says he had a blast wrestling again at WWE TLC. Angle announces the official card for WWE Survivor Series which will be a RAW vs. Smackdown Live theme this year. Angle plans to make sure RAW is the dominant show at the event. The Miz, Sheamus, Cesaro and Curtis Axel interrupt and head to the ring. Miz says he's sick of hearing Angle's voice, rants about losing at WWE TLC and again feels disrespected. Angle refuses to listen to Miz and goes to leave the ring, but gets surrounded by Miz and company. Seth Rollins and Dean Ambrose hit the ring for the save and stand with Angle. Angle announces a six man tag team match to kick off RAW. It'll be Miz/Sheamus/Cesaro vs. Ambrose, Rollins and a man helping out RAW tonight....AJ Styles.

- "Six Man Tag Team Match": Dean Ambrose, Seth Rollins and AJ Styles vs. The Miz, Sheamus and Cesaro: The match closes out with Rollins and Ambrose hitting suicide dives on Sheamus and Miz. Styles hits the Phenomenal Forearm on Cesaro and scores the pinfall.
Winners: AJ Styles, Dean Ambrose and Seth Rollins, by pinfall.

- After the match, Kane arrives and unloads on Ambrose, Rollins and Styles as Miz, Sheamus and Cesaro join in on the beat down too. Styles and Ambrose get tossed outside and Kane choke slams Rollins.

- Kane Promo: Kane says he's heard the stories about Braun Strowman, getting competition, surviving ambulance crashes, tossing Big Show through a steel cage wall and owning Roman Reigns. Kane says he had to see Strowman for himself and all he saw was a 385 pound pile of trash. Kane says he saw fear in Strowman's eyes when he was tossed in the garbage truck last night. Kane is regaining his spot as RAW's only monster and demands competition right now. Finn Balor interrupts and accepts the challenge.

- Kane vs. Finn Balor: The match closes out with Balor hitting the corner drop kick on Kane and then goes for the Coup de Grace. Kane rises up, grabs Balor off the ropes and choke slams him. Kane pulls Balor off the mat and choke slams him two more times before finally scoring the pinfall.
Winner: Kane, by pinfall.

- Backstage, Kurt Angle gets interrupted by Smackdown Live Commissioner Shane McMahon. Angle and McMahon take playful jabs on who's show is better and proving it at WWE Survivor Series. Shane makes a joke about RAW being under siege.

- Asuka vs. Emma: The match closes out with Emma getting a rollup on Asuka and tries to cheat by grabbing the tights. Asuka kicks out and flips Emma back right into the Asuka Lock submission for the tap out win.
Winner: Asuka, by submission.

- Alexa Bliss Promo: Alexa brags about beating the leader of the old folks home, Mickie James. Alexa talks about facing Nattie Neidhart at WWE Survivor Series and feels that she's unappreciated in the WWE. Alexa mocks the Green Bay fans and demands that they show her the appreciation she deserves and chant "You deserve it". Mickie James interrupts and heads to the ring. Mickie kicks Alexa and then lays her out with the Mickie DDT. Mickie stands over Alexa and tells her that she deserved that.

- Elias Samson Concert Performance: Elias Samson is in the ring with his guitar and mocks the Green Bay Packers fans. Elias starts to sing a song, mocking the city of Green Bay. Elias microphone starts to static on him and interrupting his song. Elias gets angry and threatens to come backstage and beat up who ever is in the production truck that can't figure out how to do his job right. Jason Jordan interrupts, revealing it was him the whole time and heads to the ring to face Elias.

- Elias Samson vs. Jason Jordan: The match closes out with Jordan hitting a belly to belly on Elias, sending him outside. Jordan follows and sends Elias into the barricade repeatedly. Jordan charges at Elias, but Elias nails grabs his guitar and nails Jordan with it in the shoulder for the DQ.
Winner: Jason Jordan, by DQ.

- Brock Lesnar and Paul Heyman Promo: Heyman mocks Jinder Mahal for barely beating Randy Orton and Shinsuke Nakamura, as Brock Lesnar rolls over opponent after opponent. Heyman mocks The Singh Brothers for being wannabe Paul Heyman's for Mahal. Heyman calls himself the best of the best of trash talking, but doesn't trash talk Lesnar's opponents because they've all been worthy opponents. Heyman says that Mahal on the other hand is not Lesnar's equal, contemporary or counterpart on SmackDown, he's not even a worthy pretender to the WWE World Title. Heyman lists all the greats that have held that title, Lesnar included and how Shane McMahon and Daniel Bryan probably feel like they have been shafted with Mahal as their champion. Heyman says that Lesnar will march into WWE Survivor Series and prove why he is The Beast and mayor of Suplex City. Heyman announces that Mahal's challenge has been accepted by the undisputed beast, the undisputed conqueror, the undisputed #1 champion in WWE, the reigning and defending WWE Universal Champion, Brock Lesnar.

- Backstage, Kalisto is interviewed. Kalisto says it was his dream to be a champion and he would've felt different if it wasn't Enzo Amore that he lost his title to. Kalisto says he's getting his rematch tomorrow on 205 Live. Gran Metalik, Cedric Alexander, Rich Swann and Mustafa Ali all appear and get Kalisto pumped with a Lucha chant.

- "Winner Becomes Team Captain Of Team RAW In The 5-On-5, Triple Threat Match": Sasha Banks vs. Bayley vs. Alicia Fox: The match closes out with Alicia hitting her own Bayley To Belly on Bayley, sending her outside. Sasha grabs Alicia and locks in the Banks Statement submission. Alicia fights out and sends Sasha crashing into Bayley on the apron. Alicia scores the upset pinfall and becomes the team captain of RAW.
Winner: Alicia Fox, by pinfall.

- "Ten Man Tag Team Match": Enzo Amore, Drew Gulak, Noam Dar, Ariya Daivari and Tony Nese vs. Kalisto, Gran Metalik, Mustafa Ali, Rich Swann and Cedric Alexander: The match closes out with Team Enzo getting sent outside and Team Kalisto take them all out through the air. Kalisto hits Salida Del Sol on Enzo and scores the pinfall.
Winners: Team Kalisto, by pinfall.

- Kurt Angle Announces The 5 Men On Team RAW For WWE Survivor Series: Before Angle can make any official announcement, Shane McMahon and the whole Smackdown Live roster arrive and surround the ring. Shane reminds Angle what he said earlier about RAW being under siege and he wasn't lying. The whole Smackdown Live roster march backstage, attack Titus O'Neil and Apollo Crews and destroy a RAW tv set. The SDL roster march on and attack and beat down Goldust, Curtis Axel and Curt Hawkins. The SDL roster march into the RAW locker room and attack Jason Jordan, Matt Hardy and a few other superstars. The SDL roster marches on and attacks more superstars and some of the Cruiserweights in the hallway. The SDL ladies attack and beat down Sasha Banks, Bayley, Alicia Fox and Mickie James. Dean Ambrose and Seth Rollins try to save RAW and dive into the pack of SDL superstars swinging, but both end up getting beat down as well. Angle gets dragged around and forced to look at all the carnage that SDL caused and then dragged back into the ring with Shane. Shane promises Angle that at WWE Survivor Series, Smackdown Live will finish what they just started.
