Wrestling Lockup With Brandon 10/25/17: Smackdown Live Milwaukee Recap

Smackdown Live was live in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. Smackdown Live looks to crown their team captains for WWE Survivor Series. Also will there be any retaliation from RAW after Smackdown Live attacked the whole locker room this past Monday??

** Smackdown Live Card **

- The New Day battled Shelton Benjamin and Chad Gable.
- WWE United States Champion Baron Corbin battled Sin Cara in a non title match.
- AJ Styles battled Sunil Singh.
- Becky Lynch, Charlotte, Carmella, Becky Lynch and Naomi battled in a Fatal Five Way Match to determine a team captain for the 5-On-5 women's match at WWE Survivor Series.
- Randy Orton battled Sami Zayn with the winner getting a spot in the 5-On-5 men's match.

- Shane McMahon returns and hypes WWE Survivor Series.

- WWE World Heavyweight Champion Jinder Mahal responds to WWE Universal Champion Brock Lesnar and Paul Heyman.

- The Fashion Files: Reservoir Dogs Edition.

** Smackdown Live **

- Shane McMahon Promo: Shane says he's glad to be back, hypes WWE Survivor Series and says he's always been taught to strike first in battle and that's what he did last night on RAW. Shane says it was an idea that was thought out when he let AJ Styles help out RAW, RAW just didn't know that Shane was sending the whole roster also to attack. Sami Zayn suddenly interrupts and heads to the ring. Sami says there are no hard feelings for what happened at WWE Hell In A Cell, but Shane says there are and that will be handled at a later time. Shane lists off all the issues Zayn caused by helping Kevin Owens. Zayn says if Shane wants to fight he'd take him out in a second. Zayn says that he and Owens will be more than happy to be on Team Smackdown Live for the 5-On-5 and lead the team like they lead the show every week. Shane says he doesn't want or need Zayn and Owens, but he'll give them a chance. Shane announces that Zayn will meet Randy Orton with the winner taking spot number one on the 5-On-5 team.

- The New Day vs. Shelton Benjamin and Chad Gable: The match closes out with the referee getting distracted for a moment with chaos breaking out. Benjamin lands a kick to the back of the head on Woods, which allows Gable to score the pinfall.
Winners: Shelton Benjamin and Chad Gable, by pinfall.

- Backstage, Charlotte, Lana, Tamina, Becky Lynch and Naomi are talking, when Carmella interrupts looking for James Ellsworth. Daniel Bryan interrupts and jokes about sending out a search party. Bryan then announces that all the ladies present accept for Lana will be Team Smackdown in the 5-On-5 Women's Match. All the ladies argue over who's team captain. Bryan announces the winner of tonight's Fatal Five Way Match will be captain.

- Fashion Files: Reservoir Dogs Edition: Fandango and Tyler Breeze find that Konnor and Viktor have James Ellsworth tied up because they think he has the missing breifcase. Carmella appears and insults Ellsworth for not doing his job. A pair of Ellsworth's dirty underwear is revealed inside of Carmella's Money In The Bank briefcase. The Ascension try to warn Breezango that they think Luke Harper and Erick Rowan are to blame for everything.

- Baron Corbin vs. Sin Cara: The match closes out with Sin Cara hitting a suicide dive on Corbin and then gets a near fall missile drop kick. Corbin backs Sin Cara into the corner and unloads on him. Corbin gets Sin Cara on the mat and unloads ground and pound strikes, ignores the referee's warning to stop and gets DQ'ed.
Winner: Sin Cara, by DQ.

- After the match, Corbin hits End of Days on Sin Cara on the floor. Corbin talks trash as referees force him to back off.

- Jinder Mahal Promo: Mahal says there are those that speak the truth and there are liars like Paul Heyman. Mahal says that Heyman is no better than a used car salesman, Mahal has earned everything he has and he's not Brock Lesnar's equal or counterpart, he's Lesnar's worst nightmare. Mahal says he'll prove it to everyone come WWE Survivor Series.

- AJ Styles vs. Sunil Singh: The match closes out with Samir Singh trying to interfere. Styles takes Samir out and then makes Sunil tap out to the Calf Crusher submission for the quick squash win.
Winner: AJ Styles, by submission.

- Backstage, Kevin Owens tells Sami Zayn that he has a 5-On-5 Qualifying match next week against Shinsuke Nakamura. Zayn says he'll win tonight and Owens wins next week and they'll lead Team Smackdown Live together.

- "Fatal Five Way Match, To Crown A Team Captain: Becky Lynch vs. Naomi vs. Carmella vs. Charlotte vs. Tamina: The match closes out with Becky getting a near fall rollup on Naomi. Carmella tosses Naomi into the corner, knocking her to the floor. Carmella gets two near falls and argues with the referee. Becky traps Carmella in the Dis Arm Her submission and gets the tap out win.
Winner: Becky Lynch, by submission.

- Backstage, Dolph Ziggler is interviewed. Ziggler mocks more gimmicks and says he proved that Bobby Roode was a fraud. Ziggler says he's the best and no one can hang with him. Bobby Roode interrupts and challenges Ziggler next week to a 2 Out of 3 Falls Match. Ziggler accepts and says he hopes Roode's ego can take being damaged twice. 

- "Winner Gets A Spot On The 5-On-5 Men's Match at WWE Survivor Series": Sami Zayn vs. Randy Orton: The match closes out with Orton landing the draping DDT on Zayn as Kevin Owens arrives. The referee argues with Owens and tells him to leave. Orton low blows Zayn and hits the RKO  for the pinfall.
Winner: Randy Orton, by pinfall.

- Backstage, Shane McMahon gloats to Daniel Bryan that RAW didn't try to invade tonight. Bryan tells Shane he's expecting it soon and when they do it's in Shane's job description to defend them.
