Survivor Series, one of the original four events of the early WWE pay per view era. The very first Survivor Series took place right here in Triple Threat CLE's home town of Cleveland, Ohio. The original concept of the Survivor Series was a whole event featuring two teams of five facing each other in elimination matches. Over the years as Survivor Series got older, unfortunately, the elimination matches grew smaller and Survivor Series evolved into a regular pay per view featuring different types of matches.
This year's Survivor Series, which takes place in St. Louis, Missouri, will include a main event, featuring a traditional five on five elimination match. Once again nothing like the original concept of the Survivor Series when it first took center stage in 1987. With or without a card full of elimination matches, Survivor Series, should be an exciting experience which many still consider a great thanksgiving family tradition.
- "Traditional Survivor Series Elimination Match":The Authority (Seth Rollins, Kane, Mark Henry, Rusev and Luke Harper) vs. Team Cena (John Cena, Dolph Ziggler, Big Show, Erick Rowan and Ryback): The Authority wants nothing more then to get rid of John Cena. Cena has been a thorn in The Authority's side all summer, as he refuses to join them and instead stands up to them. Cena has recruited his own team that are willing to stand up to The Authority and help end their reign of terror. The Authority, via Vince McMahon, must win this match or else The Authority will be out of power and forced to step down as the company runners. Which leaves the question, if Team Cena wins, who will take over the WWE? Team Cena on the other hand, if they lose, every member of Team Cena (except for John Cena, cause he still has company value) will be fired.
- "WWE World Tag Team Championship, Fatal Four Way Match": Goldust and Stardust (c) vs. Los Matadores vs. The Usos vs. The Miz and Damien Sandow: This match was thrown together on this past weeks RAW, as all four teams battled in an eight man tag. Tempers flared, as all four teams argued after the match ended. The bizarre Rhodes Brothers must defend their tag titles in a fatal four way, where they don't have to be beaten to lose their titles. The Usos look to win back the titles the Rhodes Brothers took from them. Miz and Sandow and The Los Matadores look to capture the titles for themselves.
- "WWE Divas Championship Match: A.J. Lee (c) vs. Nikki Bella: After successfully defending her title against Paige the past few months, A.J. moves onto her next opponent. Nikki Bella, won a #1 Contenders Halloween Battle Royal to earn a shot at the Divas Championship. Nikki also won the right to force her sister, Brie, in her corner as her personal assistant for a month. Can A.J. retain against the originators of "twin magic"? Can Nikki defeat A.J., the queen of "crazy"? Will Brie get involved? We'll find out all these answers as the Divas Championship is defended.
- Dean Ambrose vs. Bray Wyatt: Bray Wyatt, the ring leader of the creepy Wyatt Family, has returned. After disappearing for a little over a month, Bray Wyatt, set his cult followers, Luke Harper and Erick Rowan free. Bray then chose Dean Ambrose as his first victim in his return solo, as Bray took Ambrose out at Hell In A Cell, costing Ambrose his match against Seth Rollins. Ambrose...aka..."The Lunatic Fringe", who isn't right in the head sometimes to begin with, is welcoming Bray Wyatt's attacks and not backing down from the sadistic superstar.
- "Traditional Survivor Series Divas Elimination Match": Team Nattie (Nattie Neidhart, Emma, Naomi and Alicia Fox) vs. Team Paige (Paige, Layla, Summer Rae and Cameron): We get a traditional Survivor Series Elimination Divas Match tonight. All eight ladies involved have had some kind of an issue with each other at one time or another the past few months. Can the veteran Nattie Neidhart lead her team to victory or will the "Crazy" rookie, Paige, and her team come out on top?
- STING!! Will the former NWA, WCW and TNA World Heavyweight Champion appear for the first time ever in a WWE ring? Rumors are saying that it has been confirmed for Survivor Series.
- On the Survivor Series pregame show we will see the return of Fandango and his new valet, Rosa Mendes.
