Wrestling Lockup with Brandon, brought to you by Triple Threat CLE. It's time for this week's RAW recap. Hope everyone had a safe and happy Labor Day as the last holiday of the summer closes out.
- RAW was live this week for Labor Day in Baltimore, Maryland.
- Seth Rollins Isn't So Mad Anymore: Seth Rollins kicks off RAW in the ring for a promo. Rollins says he's special, lists all of his accomplishments, Sting resents Rollins so Sting stole his statue and John Cena pulling backstage politics got him a WWE United States Championship Match. Rollins was upset at first, but realized he'll own both Sting and Cena at Night Of Champions. Sting interrupts Rollins on the Titantron with Rollins' statue. Sting says he's here with the statue and Rollins should come get it. Rollins is about to head to the back to get it when Sheamus interrupts. Sheamus sends a warning to Rollins, stating that if he survives Sting and Cena, Rollins may have to have a third match, cause Sheamus might cash in his Money In The Bank briefcase.
- Backstage, Stephanie McMahon tells Seth Rollins she has a plan. Rollins says he would rather have Triple H come up with a plan. Triple H appears and says Rollins will fight Ryback and then compete in a Six Man Tag Match in the main event. Stephanie says she was going to suggest just going after Sting, but she likes Triple H's plan better.
- Sasha Banks defeated Paige, by pinfall: Team BAD and Team PCB were all at ringside for this match. The match closes out with Paige going for Ram-Paige on Sasha, but Sasha escapes and gets to the floor. Paige lands a rolling senton off the apron and takes out Tamina on the floor. Back in the ring, Paige goes for the PTO submission on Sasha, but Naomi gets in the ring. The referee stops Naomi as Sasha pulls Paige's hair and rolls Paige up to score the pinfall.
- Roman Reigns and Dean Ambrose defeated The Ascension, by pinfall: Reigns and Ambrose make quick work of the former NXT World Tag Team Champions. The match closes out with Reigns hitting the apron drop kick on Viktor. Reigns, next, hits a Superman Punch on Viktor, joins Ambrose, and lands a double team doomsday device. Reigns hits a spear on Konnor and Ambrose hits Dirty Deeds to score the pinfall. After the match, The Wyatt Family appear on the Titantron. The Wyatts warn anyone that want to join Reigns and Ambrose in this war will be doomed.
- Backstage, Ryback cuts a promo and states that Seth Rollins isn't a fighting champion. Kevin Owens interrupts and tells Ryback to make sure he doesn't bite off more than he can chew.
- Ryback defeated Seth Rollins, by pinfall: The match closes out with Rollins tossing Ryback to the floor and hitting a series of suicide dives. Ryback avoids getting counted out, gets back in the ring and plants Rollins with a spine buster. Sting suddenly appears on the Titantron again, still with Rollins' statue and distracts Rollins. Ryback rolls up Rollins and scores the pinfall. After the match, Sting puts a Sting mask on the Rollins statue, making Rollins angry.
- Backstage, Seth Rollins bumps into The New Day. The New Day tell him not to fret cause New Day Rocks. Rollins turns to leave and bumps into Edge and Christian. Edge dares Rollins to try to break his neck like he tried to last time Edge was at RAW. Rollins leaves as Christian and Xavier Woods have an instrument battle. The Dudley Boys interrupt and announce that next week it's the Prime Time Players vs. The New Day and the winners of that match defend the WWE World Tag Team Championship against The Dudleys at Night Of Champions.
- Summer Rae Apologizes To Rusev: Summer Rae is in the ring for a promo. Summer says this has been a horrific week, Rusev is the true victim and owes Rusev an apology. Rusev comes out to the ring to meet Summer. Summer says Dolph Ziggler has been after her for weeks and apologizes, while crying. Rusev says she betrayed him, but forgives her, blames Ziggler and says Summer and Lana are the real victims in this. Rusev says that Lana now has a broken heart thanks to Ziggler. Dolph Ziggler interrupts and heads to the ring. Ziggler says that everyone knows, including Lana that Rusev and Summer are liars. Ziggler says Lana has a message for Rusev and then proceeds to super kick Rusev in the mouth.
- Backstage, we see Roman Reigns, Dean Ambrose and Randy Orton talking together.
- Randy Orton defeated Sheamus, by pinfall: The match closes out with Orton getting a near fall on a second rope super plex. Sheamus comes back and hits White Noise on Orton, but gets a near fall. Sheamus tries to roll up Orton for a pinfall, but Orton kicks out, pops back up and hits the RKO on Sheamus. Orton covers and scores the pinfall. After the match, The Wyatt Family arrive, target Randy Orton and proceed to beat Orton down. Braun Strowman chokes Orton out with ease and then plants Orton with the inverted shoulder slam. Bray Wyatt sits in the corner and laughs as Orton is left laid out.
- The Dudley Boys defeated Los Matadores, by pinfall: The match closes out with Fernando getting into an argument with El Torito. Fernando slaps El Torito, turns around and gets laid out with the 3D, scoring the pinfall for The Dudleys. After the match, Diego attacks El Torito for costing them the match. The Dudleys make the save and put Diego through a table.
- Cesaro defeated The Miz, by count out: The match closes out with Miz in control and working on Cesaro's rib area. Big Show makes his way to the ring and targets Miz. Miz escapes the ring, jumps the barricade and escapes through the crowd, taking the count out loss. After the match, an angry Show knocks Cesaro out with the knockout punch.
- Nikki Bella Invites Us To A Party: Team Bella is in the ring for a promo. Nikki Bella announces that next Monday on RAW she's throwing a huge party when she officially breaks A.J. Lee's longest reigning WWE Divas Champion record. Team PCB interrupt and Charlotte announces that The Authority have granted her the WWE Divas Championship Match next week on RAW and she's planning on stopping Nikki from breaking the record. Charlotte attacks Nikki and traps her in the Figure Eight submission.
- John Cena and The Prime Time Players defeated Seth Rollins and The New Day, by pinfall, in a Six Man Tag Team Match: The match closes out with Xavier Woods attempting to distract Titus. Darren Young hits the Gut Check on Woods and both Cena and Rollins tag in. Rollins escapes a Cena AA attempt, but gets caught in the STF submission. Rollins escapes and tags in Kofi Kingston. Kofi leaps off the top rope with a cross body.
Cena rolls through and hits the AA on Kofi to score the pinfall. After the match, Sting appears on the Titantron again. Sting is standing with the Rollins statue next to a garbage truck. Rollins loses his mind in anger as Sting shoves the statue into the garbage truck, crushes it in the compactor and rides off on the back of the garbage truck to close out RAW.
