Wrestling Lockup with Brandon, brought to you by Triple Threat CLE, gives you this month's Ring Of Honor pay per view recap. This past Friday night, ROH invaded the San Antonio Shrine Auditorium in San Antonio, Texas, for the seventh edition of the ROH All Star Extravaganza. All major ROH titles were on the line in the event, including ROH World and Television Champion Jay Lethal, pulling double duty and defending both championships. Let's get to the shows recap.
- Jay Lethal defeated Bobby Fish, by pinfall, to retain the ROH Television Championship: Jay Lethal kicks off the pay per view defending the first of his two titles tonight. Lethal hit the Lethal Injection on Fish at one point in the match, but Fish rolled to the floor to avoid the pinfall. The match closes out with Lethal and Fish going back and forth. Lethal goes for another Lethal Injection, but Fish countered and locked Lethal in a leglock submission. Fish cinches in the leglock and Lethal is about to tap out. Lethal holds on, counters Fish's leglock into a rollup, hooks Fish's tights and scores the pinfall. Jay Lethal retains the ROH Television Championship. - Silas Young defeated Dalton Castle, by pinfall: This match had a few stipulations. If Castle won, Young became one of Castle's "Boys". If Young won, Castle's "Boys" are no more. The match closes out with Young taking off his knee brace and threatens to use it. The referee takes the knee brace away and Castle gets a near fall on Young with the inverted WhirlyBird. Young tries to grab the knee brace again, but Castle's Boys grab it. The Boys and the referee fight over the knee brace as Young sneaks in and hits a low blow on Castle. Young hits Misery on Castle, covers and scores the pinfall. After the match, Young grabs Castle's Boys, drags them to the back and says it's time to turn them into men. - The All Night Express (Kenny King and Rhett Titus) defeated The Briscoe Brothers, by pinfall: The match closes out with Jay Briscoe diving onto King on the floor. The Briscoe's double team Titus and place him on the top rope. Titus counters a hurricanrana by Mark Briscoe and hits an elevated Snake Eyes off the turn buckle. Titus and King hit their double team Buff Buster/Power Bomb combo on Mark Briscoe, cover and score the pinfall. After the match, Adam Page arrives and hits a low blow on Jay Briscoe. King and Titus chase Page from the ring. - Moose defeated Cedric Alexander, by pinfall, in a No DQ Match: The match closes out with Moose getting a near fall, after slamming Cedric on a ladder. Moose stacks a pile of steel chairs in the ring, but Cedric comes back. Cedric hits a series of drop kicks and lariats and goes for a wrench to use. Stokely Hathaway stops it and attacks Cedric. Veda Scott gets involved and she jumps on Hathaway's back. Hathaway backs Scott into the corner and Cedric charges in for a drop kick. Hathaway smacks Cedric with the wrench as he charges in, dropping Cedric in front of a table proped in the corner. Moose charges in and spears Cedric right through the proped table. Moose covers and scores the pinfall.- ACH defeated Matt Sydal, by pinfall, to take a 2-1 lead in a Best Of Five Series: The match closes out with ACH unloading with several kicks on Sydal and then dives off the top rope with a stomp. Sydal fires back and nails two solid leaping knees to the face of ACH. ACH dodges a Sydal leap from the top rope and gets a near fall with a bodypress off the ropes. ACH hits a brainbuster on Sydal and follows up with the 450 Splash. ACH covers and scores the pinfall, now leading the Best of Five Series 2-1.
- The Kingdom defeated The Addiction and The Young Bucks, by pinfall, to win the ROH World Tag Team Championship, in a Triple Threat Match: The match closes out with Daniels going for Angel's Wings on Nick Jackson, but Jackson rolls through and hits a hurricanrana. Jackson goes on a super kick spree and hits everyone moving. Maria tries to get involved, but Daniels punches her. Maria's husband, Michael Bennett, is pissed, charges at Daniels and takes the referee out in the process. KRD hits the ring and lays out The Addiction. The Young Bucks hit More Bang For Your Buck on Daniels, but Matt Tavern blind tags in. The Young Bucks hit the Meltzer Driver on Kazarian, but Tavern rolls up Matt Jackson from behind and scores the pinfall to win the ROH World Tag Team Championship. - AJ Styles defeated Adam Cole, Michael Elgin and Roderick Strong, by pinfall, to become the #1 Contender to the ROH World Heavyweight Championship, in a Fatal Four Way Match: The match closes out with all hell breaking loose. All four men trade punches with each other. Elgin hits a Falcon Arrow on Cole and lands a spinning back fist on Strong. Strong lands a double knee gutbuster on Elgrin, a kick to Styles and a Strong Breaker on Cole. Elgrin grabs Styles and hits the turn buckle power bomb. Elgrin takes everyone out until Styles lands a Frankensteiner. Cole hits a Destroyer, but Styles breaks up the pinfall. Cole and Styles go face to face and trade blows. Styles hits Bloody Sunday and follows with the Styles Clash. Styles covers Cole and scores the pinfall to become #1 Contender to the ROH World Heavyweight Championship. - Jay Lethal defeated Kyle O'Reilly, by pinfall, to retain the ROH World Heavyweight Championship: Lethal entered into his second title defense of the evening. The match closes out with O'Reilly countering the Lethal Injection with an armbar submission. Lethal counters and tries to steal a rollup with a handful of tights. O'Reilly hits a brainbuster on Lethal for a near fall and kicks Truth Martini off the apron. O’Reilly locks on a triangle submission, but Martini pulls the referee out of the ring. Nigel McGuinness comes out and ejects Truth Martini from ringside. O’Reilly accidentally kicks the referee, knocking him out. Lethal hits the Lethal Injection, then grabs the title belt. Bobby Fish hits the ring and saves O'Reilly. Donavon Dijak hits the ring and attacks Fish. Adam Cole hits the ring and takes out Dijak. Cole then turns on O'Reilly and hits a super kick on him. Lethal hits the Lethal Injection on O'Reilly, covers and scores the pinfall to retain the ROH World Heavyweight Championship. After the match, The Kingdom come out to the ring and beat down O'Reilly to close out the show.
