Wrestling Lockup with Brandon, 9.15.15: #RAW Recap

Wrestling Lockup with Brandon, brought to you by Triple Threat CLE. It's time for this week's RAW recap. 

- RAW was live this week in Memphis, Tennessee and served as the WWE Night Of Champions go home show.

- Triple H and Stephanie McMahon Make A Huge Announcement: Triple H and Stephanie McMahon kick off RAW in the ring for a promo. Triple H says this year has been a massive success for WWE. Stephanie names superstars and divas who have contributed to the success. Seth Rollins is mentioned and Triple H says Rollins can cement his legacy this Sunday at Night Of Champions, if he can beat both John Cena and Sting. Triple H talks about tonight's show and the big announcement is Sting will wrestle for the first time ever on RAW, against Big Show.

- The New Day defeated Prime Time Players, by pinfall, to retain the WWE World Tag Team Championship: The match closes out with Titus countering the Big Ending from Big E and plants Big E with a spine buster. Xavier Woods jumps up on the apron for distraction, as Kofi Kingston nails Darren Young with Trouble In Paradise on the floor. Titus is hit from behind by Big E, as Woods still ran distraction. Big E and Kofi hit their double team finisher, cover and score the pinfall to retain the WWE World Tag Team Championship. After the match, The New Day celebrate as their opponents for Night Of Champions, The Dudley Boys, arrive on stage and stare down The New Day.

- Backstage, Triple H and Stephanie McMahon get praised by WWE World Heavyweight Champion Seth Rollins for putting together tonight's show. Triple H announces Sheamus vs. John Cena for tonight.

- Backstage, Charlotte is with her father, Ric Flair. Charlotte says winning the WWE Divas Championship has been a dream since arriving, she wants to carry on her father's legacy and is glad he's here with her tonight. Ric Flair hypes the Divas Revolution and Charlotte finishes by saying the Bella Army will fall and the Divas Revolution is more like an Evolution.

- Sasha Banks defeated Paige, by submission: The match closes out with Paige landing a german suplex on Sasha and Sasha rolls to the floor. Paige goes for a cross body off the apron, but Tamina grabs Sasha and pulls her out of the way. Paige crashes on the floor and takes a huge hit. Back in the ring, Sasha keeps control and locks Paige in the Bank Statement submission. Paige has no choice but to tap out. After the match, Team BAD attack Paige and Becky Lynch. Team BAD dominates and dumps Paige and Becky to the floor.

- Miz TV With Special Guests: The Wyatt Family: The Wyatt Family make Miz stand during the segment. Miz promises he's not Roman Reigns and Dean Ambrose's mystery partner at Night Of Champions. Braun Strowman takes off his sheep mask and stares at Miz when Miz asks who he is. Bray interrupts and says everyone will suffer for their sins, just ask Randy Orton and Jimmy Uso. Bray doesn't care who or how many show up with Reigns and Ambrose, cause they'll all fall down. Reigns and Ambrose arrive and toss Miz from the ring. Both teams have a stare down and Reigns promises revenge for what the Wyatt Family have done. Reigns announces that they've found their third partner and they'll whoop the Wyatt Family's ass at Night Of Champions. Bray Wyatt laughs and the lights go out to end the segment.

- John Cena defeated Sheamus, by pinfall: The match closes out with Cena countering Sheamus coming off the top rope with the battering ram and applies the STF submission. Sheamus counters the submission, but Cena counters back and drops Sheamus face first from Cena's shoulders. Cena goes for the STF submission again and cinches it in this time. Sheamus powers out and drops Cena with a rolling senton. Cena is back up and plants Sheamus with an AA out of nowhere and scores the pinfall.

- Ryback And Kevin Owens Go Face To Face: Ryback is in the ring for a promo. Ryback is proud to be the WWE Intercontinental Champion and talks about Kevin Owens. Owens interrupts and goes face to face with Ryback. Owens rips a book in half that Ryback says played a huge part in his career. Owens says Ryback is a monster, but also the weakest and it's a travesty that he's the I-C Champion. Owens says if he ever got a shot at the title he'd take it and prove that Ryback is a little boy. Ryback announces that he already went to The Authority and got the match signed for Night Of Champions. Owens teases an attack, but leaves the ring.

- Neville vs. Stardust Goes To A No Contest: Stardust comes out with The Ascension and Neville comes out with The Lucha Dragons. All six men brawl around the ring. The Dragons hit suicide dives on The Ascension. Neville clotheslines Stardust to the floor. The Ascension grab Stardust and retreat to the back.

- Charlotte defeated Nikki Bella, by DQ. Nikki Bella retains the WWE Divas Championship and will break A.J. Lee's longest WWE Divas Championship reign record: The match closes out with Nikki and Brie Bella pulling twin magic and it backfires, causing Brie to be pinned by Charlotte. Team PCB and Ric Flair all celebrate, thinking Charlotte is the new WWE Divas Champion. Stephanie McMahon arrives and announces that Nikki Bella has been DQ'ed, Nikki retains the title, however, at Night Of Champions, she'll defend against Charlotte and can lose the title by pinfall, submission, countout or DQ.

- Cesaro defeated Rusev, by pinfall: The match closes out with Rusev in control of the match when Dolph Ziggler arrives. Ziggler distracts Rusev by having words and presenting a gift to Summer Rae at ringside. Cesaro capitalizes and rolls Rusev up for the pinfall. After the match, Ziggler plants a super kick on Rusev, sending the Bulgarian retreating.

- Backstage, Seth Rollins is talking to Big Show.

- Backstage, Rusev is pissed at Summer Rae and Summer is apologizing. Rusev slams the locker room door in Summer's face. Summer opens Dolph Ziggler's present and begins to smile as Rusev pounds on the door and orders her to get in his locker room.

- Backstage, Big Show promises The Authority he'll take care of Sting.

- Sting defeated Big Show, by DQ: Triple H and Stephanie McMahon were at ringside. The match closes out with Sting taking control, landing kicks and hitting a Stinger Splash on Show. Seth Rollins hits the ring and begins brawling with Sting, causing the DQ. After the match, Big Show and Rollins beat down Sting. John Cena hits the ring and makes the save, helping Sting clear the ring. Triple H says we've seen enough controversy for one night and announces an impromptu tag team match.

- Sting and John Cena defeated Big Show and Seth Rollins, by submission: The match closes out with Sting getting a hot tag and unloads on Rollins. Sting hits two Stinger Splashes and hits a bulldog on Rollins. Show attacks Sting, but Show gets dropped with a Cena AA. Rollins goes for the Pedigree on Cena, but Sting comes in from behind and hits the Scorpion Death Drop on Rollins. Sting locks in the Scorpion Death Lock submission and forces Rollins to tap out. After the match, Sting and Cena taunt Rollins, Show, Triple H and Stephanie to close out the show.
