Wrestling Lockup with Brandon, brought to you by Triple Threat CLE. It's this week's TNA Impact recap for the week.
- This week's Impact was live at the Impact Zone in Orlando, Florida.
- The new TNA World Heavyweight Champion, Ethan Carter III, is in the ring with a microphone. EC3 brags he's unbeaten and now the champion, Aunt Dixie put him in charge tonight and will defend the title three times. Matt Hardy interrupts and wants a title shot, EC3 says no. Hardy threatens EC3, so he puts Matt in a match against Bobby Roode and Austin Aries.
- "Handicap Match": Matt Hardy vs. Bobby Roode and Austin Aries: Ethan Carter III takes a seat at commentary for the whole night. The match closes out with Matt going for the Twist Of Fate on Aries, but Roode stops him. Matt puts Roode down with a Twist Of Fate and goes for a suplex on Aries. Roode grabs Matt's leg, trips him and Aries falls on top of Matt. Roode holds down Matt's leg allowing Aries to score the pin.
- The Rising are in the ring with microphones. Drew Galloway announces The Rising must now disband due to losing to the BDC last week. Eli thanks Galloway and Galloway says he's not done with the BDC yet. Ethan Carter III interrupts and makes fun of Galloway, telling him the ship has sunk its time to move on. EC3 puts Galloway in a match against The Revolution.
- "Handicap Match": Drew Galloway vs. Abyss, Khoya and Manik: The match closes out with Abyss and Khoya having problems with each other in the match. Abyss breaks up a pin attempt that Khoya had and both men argue. Khoya slaps Abyss in the face and Galloway hits a drop kick on Abyss and Khoya both. Galloway hits a back breaker and a flying kick on Manik and scores the pin.
- Backstage, Mr. Anderson asks Ethan Carter III for a world title shot. EC3 says no and puts Anderson in a match against Bram.
- Mr. Anderson vs. Bram: The match closes out with Bram getting DQ'ed after smacking Anderson in the face with a steel chair. After the match, Bram tosses Anderson into the steel steps and beats Anderson down. Bram grabs a microphone and mocks Anderson's catch phrase before slamming the microphone down on Anderson's head.
- Jessie Godderz vs. Robbie E.: The match closes out with Robbie setting up chairs, but gets power bombed through them by Godderz. Godderz grabs a chair and uses it while applying the Adonis Crab submission. Robbie is in pain but refuses to quit. Godderz applies the pressure and Robbie eventually passes out from the pain.
- Backstage, Bobby Lashley asks Ethan Carter III for a world title shot. EC3 says no and puts Lashley in a match against Tyrus. Lashley and Tyrus have a stare down.
- Backstage, Kurt Angle is reading a piece of paper and smiles. When asked what it says, Angle says nothing continuing to smile.
- Another video clip of the Jeff Jarrett interview. Jarrett says his newly won TNA King of the Mountain Championship will be the centerpiece in his Global Force Wrestling promotion.
- "TNA World Heavyweight Championship Match": Ethan Carter III (c) vs. Norv Ferman: A quick One Percenter and EC3 scores the pin, to retain the world title.
- "TNA World Heavyweight Championship Match": Ethan Carter III (c) vs. Sharkboy: Sharkboy gets in some punches. The match closes out with another One Percenter. EC3 covers, scores the pin and retains the world title. After the match, Kurt Angle interrupts EC3's next world title defense. Angle holds up the paper he was reading earlier. The paper states he gets a world title match anytime and anywhere and he wants it tonight.
- Bobby Lashley vs. Tyrus: The match closes out with a Lashley spear and a pinfall.
- Another video clip of the Jeff Jarrett interview. Jarrett talks about TNA and Jarrett's legacy with the company.
- Velvet Sky vs. Madison Rayne: The match closes out with Madison choking Velvet with the ropes and gets distracted taunting the crowd. Velvet hits a series of knees and hits a Stunner on Madison, to score the pin.
- "TNA World Heavyweight Championship Match": Ethan Carter III (c) vs. Kurt Angle: The match closes out with Angle taking out Tyrus, hitting a series of german suplexes on EC3 and goes for the Ankle Lock submission. EC3 punches the referee and gets himself DQ'ed to hold onto the world title. Angle is pissed as more referees hit the ring to hold Angle back. Dixie Carter returns to TNA and comes to the ring. Dixie says she's been gone since Bully Ray put her through a table, sounds sincerely sorry for everything she's done, admits she was wrong and says she'll learn from her mistakes. Dixie tells EC3 that he's out of control and he's an embarrassment. Dixie says TNA needs some major changes, someone new to make the decisions and it won't be Dixie or Ethan doing it. The show closes out leaving us wondering who it could be. (Even though we know who it is thanks to spoilers)
