Wrestling Lockup with Brandon: RAW Results #RAW

Wrestling Lockup with Brandon, brought to you by Triple Threat CLE, is back with this week's RAW Recap Edition. 

This week's RAW was live in Omaha, Nebraska. Chris Jericho kicked off RAW with the Highlight Reel. Dolph Ziggler went one on one with Baron Corbin. The Goldango vs. Gorgeous Truth feud continues as Fandango battled R-Truth one on one. WWE Women's Champion, Charlotte, battled Paige in a one on one non-title match. Sami Zayn battled WWE Intercontinental Champion, The Miz, in one on one non-title match, for a shot at getting a title shot at WWE Extreme Rules. Sin Cara faced Rusev in a one on one match. Roman Reigns and The Usos battled AJ Styles, Luke Gallows and Karl Anderson in a Six Man Elimination Match. Kevin Owens faced Zack Ryder one on one with Owens' WWE Intercontinental Championship title shot on the line. WWE World Tag Team Champions, The New Day battled The Dudley Boys in tag team action.

*** RAW ***

- Highlight Reel, with Chris Jericho: Jericho kicks off RAW, mocks the fans, takes credit for Dean Ambrose not being on RAW tonight and talks about all the attention "Mitch" the potted plant received after "he" was smashed over Ambrose. Jericho says "Mitch" is worth more to the company than Ambrose and the fans can relate to Ambrose cause they're losers and slobs. Jericho calls himself a legend, doesn't care about the new era of WWE because we get the Gift of Jericho every week. Big Cass' music hits and he interrupts Jericho. Cass says that he hopes that there's a receipt that comes with that gift. Cass says he respects Jericho, but the new era has arrived with a warning and Jericho is standing in Cass' way. Jericho tells Cass to run back to the hospital to check on Enzo. Cass says he ain't running anywhere, he's here to stay and fight. Cass challenges Jericho, Jericho reminds Cass that he's the best in the world, but Cass cuts off Jericho and reminds Jericho that he's seven feet tall and you can't teach that. Jericho looks like he's about to fight, but leaves the ring instead. Cass calls Jericho SAWFT, forcing Jericho to jump back on the apron, where Cass lands a big boot on Jericho.

- Backstage, Chris Jericho complains to Stephanie McMahon and offers to team up with her to end Shane McMahon and the new era. Stephanie puts Jericho in a match against Big Cass tonight and warns him to never try to drive a wedge between her and Shane ever again.

- Dolph Ziggler vs. Baron Corbin: The match closes out with Ziggler getting a near fall Famasser on Corbin. Corbin blocks the Zig Zag and hits Deep Six on Ziggler for a near fall. Ziggler gets a near fall rollup on Corbin, hits a corner splash and unloads punches on Corbin. Corbin drops Ziggler across the top turnbuckle, hits End Of Days and scores the pinfall.
Winner: Baron Corbin, by pinfall.

- Backstage, Charlotte and Ric Flair approach and praise Shane McMahon. The Flairs try to get Ric Flair's ban at WWE Extreme Rules lifted. Shane says Stephanie's decision stands and Flair just earned a ban from tonight's match too.

- Backstage, AJ Styles says he could've destroyed Roman Reigns with the steel chair last week, but he didn't. After Reigns power bombed Styles through a table, Styles won't hesitate anymore. He's getting the title on his own at Extreme Rules, but tonight The Club is back and coming for Reigns.

- Fandango vs. R-Truth: The match closes out with Fandango tossing Truth outside. After getting back into the ring, Tyler Breeze gets on the apron and distracts Fandango. Breeze gets knocked off the apron, but Truth steals the pinfall on Fandango.
Winner: R-Truth, by pinfall.

- Backstage, after an argument between Kevin Owens, Cesaro and The Miz, Stephanie announces a triple threat match at WWE Extreme Rules for the WWE Intercontinental Championship. Sami Zayn arrives and says if he beats The Miz tonight he proposes he gets added in and it becomes a fatal four way. Shane and Stephanie agree.

- Paige vs. Charlotte: Nattie Neidhart is on commentary for this match. The match closes out with Charlotte escaping the PTO, but catches a series of punches from Paige. Charlotte tries to cheat on a pin and Nattie gets on the apron. Paige gets a near fall fallaway slam on the distraction. Ric Flair comes down to the ring and distracts Paige, helping Charlotte hit a back breaker. Shane McMahon heads to the ring with WWE officials and they all escort Flair to the back. Paige scores a rollup pinfall on Charlotte, as Charlotte was watching her dad getting escorted out.
Winner: Paige, by pinfall.

- The Miz vs. Sami Zayn: The match closes out with Zayn countering the Figure Four and getting a near fall Michinoku Driver on Miz. Miz kicks Zayn in the knee and applies the Figure Four on the next attempt. Zayn reaches the ropes for the break and Miz tries to steal a pin by using the ropes. Miz argues with the referee and gets hit with the exploder suplex by Zayn. Zayn hits the Helluva Kick on Miz and scores the pinfall.
Winner: Sami Zayn, by pinfall, making the WWE Intercontinental Championship Match at WWE Extreme Rules a Fatal Four Way Match.

- Backstage, Emma distracts Becky Lynch, allowing NXT's Dana Brooke to make her main roster debut and attack Becky from behind. Emma and Dana send a warning to Becky.

- Backstage, Kevin Owens interrupts Shane McMahon and Zack Ryder. Owens is mad because Sami Zayn was added to the WWE Intercontinental Championship match. Ryder says he should be in the match. Shane announces Ryder vs. Owens for tonight. If Ryder wins he takes Owens' spot.

- Backstage, Roman Reigns and The Usos talk about their match against The Club tonight. Reigns says tonight it's about defending their bloodline and beating The Club.

- Sin Cara vs. Rusev: The match closes out with Sin Cara hitting a moonsault followed by a suicide dive outside onto Rusev. Rusev dodges a senton and lands a kick on Sin Cara. Rusev taunts Kalisto who gets on the apron as Lana gets on the apron on the other side and distracts the referee. Kalisto takes advantage and kicks Rusev, allowing Sin Cara to score the pinfall.
Winner: Sin Cara, by pinfall.

- "Six Man Elimination Match": Roman Reigns and The Usos vs. AJ Styles, Luke Gallows and Karl Anderson: Anderson counters a samoan drop from Jey but gets rolled up for a near fall. The referee gets distracted and Gallows hits Jey from behind. Anderson scores the pinfall on Jey for the elimination. Jimmy unloads punches on Gallows and hits an enziguri. Jimmy hits the Rikishi Splash in the corner on Gallows then hits Anderson. Gallows lands a big boot on Jimmy. Anderson tags in, taunts Jimmy, but gets rolled up, pinned and eliminated. Styles hits the Phenomenal Forearm on Jimmy and scores the pinfall, eliminating Jimmy.
Reigns fights back from the 2-on-1 attack, hits the Superman Punch on Gallows and scores the pinfall, eliminating Gallows. Styles and Reigns take the fight to the floor, where Styles gets tossed over the announcers table. Gallows and Anderson return with steel chairs and beat down Reigns, DQ'ing Styles. After the match, The Usos run back out and a six man brawl breaks out. Reigns spears Gallows and Anderson. Styles goes for the Styles Clash on Reigns, but gets dumped to the apron. Reigns throws a chair down at Styles feet and dares Styles to hit him. Styles kicks the chair at Reigns, fakes a springboard and leaves the ring.
Winner: Roman Reigns.

- Kevin Owens vs. Zack Ryder (If Ryder Wins, He Takes Owens' Spot at WWE Extreme Rules): The match closes out with Owens dodging the Broski Boot by going outside. Ryder attacks Owens on the floor and tosses Owens back into the ring. Ryder hits the elbow drop off the top rope on Owens and gets a near fall. Owens counters the Rough Ryder, hits a super kick on Ryder, plants Ryder with the pop up power bomb and scores the pinfall.
Winner: Kevin Owens, by pinfall, to keep his spot at WWE Extreme Rules.

- Backstage, Big Cass says his match against Chris Jericho is the biggest match of his career and dedicates it to Enzo.

- The New Day vs. The Dudley Boys: The match closes out with Big E hitting a belly to belly on Bubba and hits the Unicorn Stampede on Devon. The Vaudevillains arrive and attack Xavier Woods at ringside, distracting Big E and Kofi. Devon hits a clothesline on Kofi and scores the pinfall. After the match, The Vaudevillains attack and beat down Kofi. The Vaudevillains lay out Kofi with the Whirling Dervish before leaving.
Winners: The Dudley Boys, by pinfall.

- Big Cass vs. Chris Jericho: Jericho gets jumped while the lights are out during his introduction. The lights come back on and it's Dean Ambrose, now wearing Jericho's light bright jacket. Jericho hits the ring and rakes Ambrose's eyes and tries to escape with his jacket back. Big Cass grabs Jericho, tosses him back to Ambrose, who lays out Jericho with Dirty Deeds. Ambrose destroys Jericho's jacket and tosses it at Jericho.
Winner: No Contest

- Backstage, Shane and Stephanie McMahon are happy with tonight's show. Shane likes Stephanie's new attitude and hopes it continues. After Shane leaves, Stephanie stares at the picture of Vince and Shane together, as if thinking about what's going on.

- This ended this week's RAW.
