Wrestling Lockup with Brandon, brought to you by Triple Threat CLE, is here with your NXT Recap Edition.

This week's NXT took place at Full Sail University in Orlando, Florida. NXT World Tag Team Champions, Jason Jordan and Chad Gable faced John Skylar and Corey Hollis in a non-title tag team match. Japanese sensation, Shinsuke Nakamura battles Alex Riley in one on one action. Alexa Bliss battled Rachel Ellering in one on one women's division action. Rachel Ellering is the daughter of former Road Warriors manager Paul Ellering. In the main event, Finn Balor battled Elias Samson in one on one action.

*** NXT ***

- Finn Balor Promo: Balor kicks off NXT inside the ring. Balor thanks the fans, talks about his feud with Samoa Joe and how Joe beat Balor for the NXT World Title a few weeks back. Elias Samson suddenly interrupts and makes his way to the ring singing a song. Samson gets in Balor's face and tells Balor that he's nothing without the title. Balor sends Samson to the floor with a Pele Kick and then tosses Samson's guitar at him.

- Backstage, Finn Balor says he's kicking Elias Samson's ass tonight.

- Jason Jordan and Chad Gable vs. John Skyler and Corey Hollis: The match closes out with Skylar and Hollis double teaming Gable. Gable hits a suplex on Hollis and tags in Jordan. Jordan hits a german suplex on Hollis as Scott Dawson and Dash Wilder appear on the NXT stage. Dawson and Wilder look on as Jordan and Gable hit their double team Grand Amplitude finisher to pick up the pinfall.
Winners: Jason Jordan and Chad Gable, by pinfall.

- Alex Riley vs. Shinsuke Nakamura: The match closes out with Nakamura stomping on Riley and then he knees Riley in the gut. Nakamura hits an inverted exploder suplex and follows that with Kinshasa on Riley to score the pinfall.
Winner: Shinsuke Nakamura, by pinfall.

- Backstage, Austin Aries is talking to NXT GM William Regal, when Wesley Blake and Buddy Murphy interrupt. Aries calls Blake and Murphy disrespectful. Regal announces that next week it'll be Blake and Murphy vs. Aries and a partner of his choice.

- Alexa Bliss vs. Rachel Ellering: The match closes out with Alexa working over Rachel's arm until Rachel hits a series of rights. Alexa counters a fireman's carry and slams Rachel into the mat. Alexa hits the Sparkle Splash on Rachel and scores the pinfall.
Winner: Alexa Bliss, by pinfall.

- Backstage, Bayley says she's almost ready for her rematch with Asuka. Nia Jax interrupts and says that when Nia lost to Bayley, Nia got stronger. When Bayley lost to Asuka, Bayley got weaker. Nia guarantees she could beat Bayley right now.

- Finn Balor vs. Elias Samson: The match closes out with Balor unloading a series of chops on Samson and then dumps Samson to the floor. Balor hits a baseball slide and a kick to Samson's face. Balor hits the Sling Blade and the running corner drop kick. Balor hits 1916 (Renamed Bloody Sunday) and scores the pinfall. 
Winner: Finn Balor, by pinfall.

- Finn Balor Promo: After the match, Balor says he's a demon possessed and wants his NXT World Title back. NXT World Champion, Samoa Joe, interrupts and argues with Balor. NXT GM William Regal appears and announces Joe vs. Balor at the next NXT Takeover in June for the NXT World Title. Balor suicide dives into Joe to close out NXT.
