Wrestling Lockup with Brandon, brought to you by Triple Threat CLE. Today's edition is your Smackdown recap from last night's show. Smackdown was in Colorado Springs, Colorado. Last week, Daniel Bryan stuck it to The Authority, when he defeated Kane in a "Casket Match". The Authority continued to make Royal Rumble winner, Roman Reigns, jump through hoops to get to Wrestlemania. John Cena and Rusev further the beginning stages of their feud, as we roll toward WWE Fast Lane. Let's get to last night's recap.
- Miz TV: The Miz presents another edition of Miz TV, with his guests being the two guys that'll face each other at WWE Fast Lane, Roman Reigns and Daniel Bryan. Before Miz can even ask a question, Reigns, knocks Miz out with the "Superman Punch". Reigns says he went through 29 guys at the rumble to get to Wrestlemania and if he has to go through Bryan now, he will. Bryan and Reigns decide to fight each other now as they clear the ring to fight. Seth Rollins interrupts and is out with a mic. Rollins has a bone to pick with both Reigns and Bryan, calls Reigns a coward and doesn't care who wins at Fast Lane or Wrestlemania because Rollins is the future. Rollins announces a three on one main event tonight with Rollins, Mercury and Noble facing Bryan.
- Dolph Ziggler and Ryback vs. Goldust and Stardust: Ziggler and Ryback tag back and forth early. Ziggler with a drop kick and Ryback with a slam and a splash on Stardust for a near fall. Goldust is in finally and lands some punches on Ryback. Double team on Ryback by The Rhodes Brothers. Ziggler is in and hits a DDT on Stardust for two. Ziggler goes for "Zig Zag", but Stardust counters by grabbing the ropes and springboard kicking Ziggler. Goldust yells for "Cody" to make the tag, pissing off Stardust. Stardust chops Goldust in the chest as his tag in and walks off on his brother. Goldust is distracted by Stardust leaving as he calls for him to come back. Ziggler hits a super kick and Ryback hits the "Shell Shock" on the distracted Goldust for the pinfall.
- Dean Ambrose vs. Curtis Axel: Axel and Ambrose trade punches, jabs and chops early. Ambrose hits an elbow but Axel returns with a shot to the back of Ambrose's head, then sends Ambrose to the floor. Axel gets taken out by an Ambrose clothesline and we're back in the ring. Ambrose hits a bulldog then heads to the top rope. Axel counters the top rope move and goes for the "Perfect Plex". Ambrose counters that and hits a clothesline on Axel. Ambrose hits "Dirty Deeds" on Axel and scores the pinfall.
- Bad News Barrett with BNZ News: After the Ambrose/Axel match, Bad News Barrett is on the titantron. Barrett is in the Bad News Zone ("BNZ") and tells Ambrose that he'll never get a shot at the WWE Intercontinental Championship because he is an unworthy opponent.
- Fandango (w/ Rosa Mendes) vs. Adam Rose: Rose assaults some of the Rosebuds before the match after they dropped him on the crowd surf. Fandango unloads on Rose with a hip toss, a slam and a few punches. Rose takes control with a clothesline and kicks Fandango out to the apron. Rose suplexed Fandango then argues with some of the Rosebuds. Fandango uses the distraction to hit a kick on Rose and hit the top rope leg drop for the pinfall.
- The Miz (w/ Damien Sandow) vs. Roman Reigns: Miz attacks early but Reigns hits a clothesline. Reigns hits a stomp, head butt and a shoulder block, sending Miz to the floor. Miz hits a few kicks on Reigns and gets a near fall. Miz goes for the corner clothesline but gets caught with three Reigns clotheslines. Miz counters the samoan drop with a DDT, but Reigns counters that with another successful samoan drop. Reigns hits the "Superman Punch" then the spear for the pinfall.
- Erick Rowan vs. Rusev (w/ Lana): Rowan attacks early and chases Rusev out to the floor with a shoulder tackle. Rusev hits a thrust kick, as Rowan followed Rusev to the floor. Rusev hits another spin kick and tries to mat wrestle. Rowan fires back with some clotheslines. Rowan lights Rusev up with corner punches. Rusev hits a kick to the knee on Rowan, then plants a thrust kick, taking Rowan down. Rusev applies "The Accolade" submission and Rowan taps out.
- Backstage, Paige says she's not tan and fake like the Bellas, doesn't get embarrassed easily and the only one that will be embarrassed when it's all said and done will be Nikki after Paige wins her WWE Divas Championship.
- Paige vs Alicia Fox: Paige hits the thesz press and kicks early. Fox hits the tilt-a-whirl back breaker for a near fall. Fox dumps Paige out to the floor, then gets another near fall with the northern lights suplex. Paige explodes on offense with kicks, a couple clotheslines, a drop kick and a roundhouse kick. Paige applies the "PTO" submission and makes Fox tap out.
- Bray Wyatt promo: Bray says he is the reaper, he is the devil knocking at your door, "he" wants to come home so let "him" in.
- "3 on 1 Handicap Match": Daniel Bryan vs. Seth Rollins, Joey Mercury and Jamie Noble: Bryan hits some knees, stomps and a wrist lock on Noble. Rollins and Noble tag in and out and work over Bryan with punches, knees and a slam. Bryan goes for a corner dropkick on Noble, but Rollins pulls Noble out of the way. Rollins pulls Bryan to the floor and tosses him into the barricade. Mercury and Rollins next work on Bryan with drop kicks and stomps. Rollins roadblocks a Bryan come back with a reverse STO. The trio go for the triple power bomb off the turnbuckles, but Bryan counters with a hurricanrana. Bryan hits a suicide dive on Rollins, who went to the floor. Bryan unloads on Mercury and Noble with dropkicks and kicks in the chest. Rollins tries to stop a Bryan kick to the head of the stooges but Rollins gets dumped on the floor, along with Noble. Bryan knocks Rollins off the apron, as Mercury rolls Bryan up from behind. Bryan counters the roll up and applies the "Yes Lock" submission to Mercury. Mercury taps out and Bryan is the winner. After the match, Kane arrives and attacks Bryan. The Authority beat down Bryan to the mat. Kane choke slams Bryan twice and The Authority stand over the fallen Bryan, with Rollins sarcastically wishing Bryan good luck at Fast Lane, as Smackdown ends.
