Wrestling Lockup with Brandon 2.10.15: #RAW Recap

Wrestling Lockup with Brandon, brought to you by Triple Threat CLE. It's the RAW recap from last night's show. RAW took place live in the home of my NCAA Football National Champions, Ohio State Buckeyes, in Columbus, Ohio!! Last week on RAW Triple H took Roman Reigns' Wrestlemania WWE World Heavyweight Championship Match and put it on the line at WWE Fast Lane. Daniel Bryan defeated Seth Rollins to earn the right to face Reigns at Fast Lane. What will tonight have in store for us as we move under two weeks away from Fast Lane? Let's get to the recap.

- In Ring Segment with Roman Reigns: Reigns talks about winning the Royal Rumble, earning a WWE World Heavyweight Championship match against Brock Lesnar at Wrestlemania, then having The Authority rip it away by making him fight Daniel Bryan at Fast Lane, with the title shot on the line. Reigns says he has a spear with Bryan's name on it........Bryan's music hits and out comes Daniel Bryan. Bryan says he didn't come to fight, he came to thank Reigns for taking out Big Show last week. Bryan talks about Fast Lane and says he's the better wrestler when.......out comes The Authority. Stephanie makes a tag match involving Bryan and Reigns for tonight. Triple H talks about Fast Lane and he is giving Sting to the end of RAW to prove whether he's a man or a coward and announce if he's meeting Triple H at Fast Lane or not.

- Daniel Bryan and Roman Reigns vs. Big Show and Kane: Triple H and Stephanie are ringside for this one. Bryan with a suicide dive on Kane. Reigns hits a clothesline on Kane, after dodging Kane's attempted clothesline. Show is in and takes control of Reigns until Reigns hits Show with a couple clotheslines. Reigns counters a choke slam with a DDT for a near fall on Show. Kane tags in and grounds Reigns. Bryan and Show tag in and Bryan takes control of Show with drop kicks, kicks to the leg and more kicks that put Show on the floor. Bryan suicide dives, but is caught by Kane and Show, who slingshot Bryan off the outside ropes and onto the floor. Show bear hugs Bryan and Kane scores a near fall with a side slam. Show misses the second rope splash on Bryan, but Kane stops Bryan from tagging Reigns. Bryan locks Kane in the "Yes Lock" submission but Show pulls Bryan to the floor and tosses Bryan into the timekeepers area, DQ'ing Show and Kane.

- After the match: Reigns attacks Kane and Show. Show hits Reigns with a steel chair. Reigns recoups and nails Show with the "Superman Punch". Show doesn't go down, so Reigns hits Show with a steel chair and sends Show to the floor. Reigns dodges a Kane choke slam as Bryan runs in and accidentally drop kicks Reigns. Reigns and Bryan have words, followed by Reigns shoving Bryan. Triple H announces a 5 on 2 match later with Reigns and Bryan vs. The Authority.

- Ryback vs. Seth Rollins: Ryback has control until the referee is distracted and Mercury and Noble shove Ryback into the barricade. Rollins hits a neck breaker on Ryback for a near fall. Rollins talks trash until Ryback sends Rollins to the floor. Mercury and Noble hop on the apron and Ryback goes after them. Ryback goes for "Shell Shock" on Rollins, but Mercury and Noble again interfere and this time get Rollins DQ'ed. After the match, Rollins, Mercury and Noble beat down Ryback. Rollins lays Ryback out with the "Curb Stomp".

- Paige vs. Brie Bella: Both divas go back and forth. Paige hits a drop kick and takes control. Nikki Bella gets on the apron but gets knocked off by Paige. Paige hits Brie with the "Ram-Paige" and scores the pinfall. Nikki taunts Paige after the match from the outside.

- In Ring Segment with Rusev and Lana: The couple are proud to face John Cena at Fast Lane, want to recognize his career and play a video honouring Cena. Lana says Cena must be tired after all his battles and he's vulnerable inside. Rusev says Cena is weak, the man he was no longer exists, he will break Cena's body and crush Cena's spirit. Cena's music hits and out comes John Cena with a mic. Cena says he's going to find out if Rusev is tough at Fast Lane and this "old man" is going to whip his ass. Rusev laughs and taunts Cena. Cena says Lana has the balls in their relationship. Cena challenges Rusev to a fight. Rusev meets Cena on the stage and both men start brawling. Rusev gets in a cheap shot on Cena's eye and tosses Cena into the stage props. Rusev stomps on Cena as WWE officials pull Rusev off of Cena.

- Dolph Ziggler vs. Bray Wyatt: Back and forth action early. Ziggler hits a drop kick and another kick that sends Bray to the floor. Wyatt goes to the mat and grounds Ziggler. More back and forth action between the two. Ziggler counters a clothesline and hits Bray with a DDT for a near fall. Ziggler hits the "Famasser" and a super kick, but Bray again kicks out. Wyatt hits a clothesline on Ziggler then hits "Sister Abigail" to score the pinfall. After the match, Bray pulls up the outside mats, exposing the concrete but WWE officials stop Bray from doing any more damage to Ziggler on the concrete.

- A video plays, honouring Junk Yard Dog for Black History Month.

- In Ring Segment with Brock Lesnar and Paul Heyman: Heyman says if Bryan or Reigns think that either one of them will beat Lesnar then they are lying and it doesn't matter who wins at Fast Lane because they'll have to deal with an "F5". Heyman taunts Bryan and Reigns and puts over Lesnar more to end the segment.

- Goldust and Stardust vs. Big E and Kofi Kingston: Stardust again gets disgusted with Goldust and the match in general and walks out. Goldust goes it alone and fights Kofi and Big E. Goldust gains control and yells for Stardust to come back. Kofi rolls up a distracted Goldust to score the pinfall.

- Backstage, Daniel Bryan says what happened with Reigns earlier was an accident. Reigns appears and says they can co-exist because of their enemy, The Authority. The two of them will handle their business at Fast Lane.

- Backstage, Goldust approaches Stardust and calls him by his real name, Cody. Stardust shoves Goldust and says Cody is dead and never call him that.

- In Ring Segment with Triple H: Triple H talks about WWE being his life for the past 20 years and all of that was almost taken away by Sting. Triple H wants Sting to show up at Fast Lane, so he can offer Sting the opportunity to just walk away with his dignity. Triple H demands an answer right now, when suddenly the lights go out. The sound of a crow echoes throughout the arena and Triple H's name appears on the titantron. A spotlight shines on Triple H, a man in a Sting mask appears behind Triple H, scaring him, and the words "I Accept" appear on the titantron.

- The Usos vs. Tyson Kidd and Cesaro: Near fall by Jey as he hits a slam. Jimmy tags in and The Usos hit a double back elbow and a double elbow drop for a near fall.  Cesaro hits a slam on Jimmy to prevent a tag to Jey. Kidd tags back in and he gets a near fall on Jimmy. Jey with the running butt splash in the corner, but Tyson dodges to the floor. Jey goes for the plancha but Tyson hits a forearm. Jimmy scores a plancha onto Cesaro. Jey hits a super kick on Kidd for a near fall. Jey goes for the "Superfly Splash" from the top rope. Cesaro steps in and shoves Jey off the top rope, allowing Kidd to pick up the pinfall.

- The next inductee into the 2015 Hall of Fame is announced as Rikishi.

- Sin Cara vs. Damien Sandow: The Miz watches this match at ringside in a directors chair. Miz yells at Sandow on a mic during the match, barking orders at Sandow. Sandow scores a near fall on Sin Cara with a suplex. Sin Cara hits a flying plancha on Sandow. Sandow goes for the figure four leg lock on Sin Cara, but Miz distracts Sandow by yelling at him about using Miz's finisher. Sandow gets rolled up for the pinfall by Sin Cara during the distraction.

- Backstage, Bray Wyatt cuts a promo. Bray is no longer afraid of "him", it's time for "him" to go home and for "him" to find Bray.

- Curtis Axel vs. Dean Ambrose: Axel wants everyone to start an #AxelMania movement on Twitter. Dean Ambrose interrupts and the match begins. Ambrose and Axel go back and forth. Axel gets a near fall with a running knee and an elbow. Ambrose takes over and ends up hitting a clothesline and "Dirty Deeds" on Axel for the pinfall.

- In Ring Segment with Dean Ambrose: Ambrose says he's coming for Bad News Barrett and won't stop till he wins the WWE Intercontinental Championship. Barrett appears on the titantron in the Bad News Zone. Barrett says just because he thinks he deserves an Intercontinental Championship match doesn't mean he earned it.

- "5 on 2 Handicap Match": Daniel Bryan and Roman Reigns vs. The Authority (Seth Rollins, Mercury, Noble, Big Show and Kane): Reigns and Bryan try to fight off The Authority all at once at the beginning. Rollins, Mercury and Noble work over Bryan as Show and Kane double choke slam Reigns. Rollins hits german suplexes on Bryan, targeting his repaired neck. Show is in and unloads chops on Bryan. Noble is in and hits some punches and a leg drop. Bryan fights back on Noble, then knocks Rollins off the apron. Mercury is tagged in and regains control of the match over Bryan. Bryan goes for the "Yes Lock" on Mercury, but Rollins breaks up the submission. Kane is tagged in next and hits a chokeslam on Bryan. Kane gets a near fall after Reigns breaks up the near pinfall. Reigns fights off The Authority but eventually gets over powered. Show hits the knock out punch on Reigns and Reigns' body is dumped on the floor. Rollins hits the turnbuckle powerbomb on Bryan and gets a near fall. Bryan gets dumped to the floor, and The Authority set Bryan up to put him through the announcers table.
Ryback, Erick Rowan and Dolph Ziggler hit the ring and a brawl breaks out with The Authority. Bryan hits a missile drop kick on Mercury and Noble, and Bryan lights The Stooges up with kicks. Reigns tags himself in and hits the spear on Mercury to score the pinfall.

- After the match: Bryan and Reigns have words with each other and Reigns turns to walk away. Bryan grabs Reigns' arm, tells him not to walk away and shoves Reigns. Reigns lays Bryan out with a spear as Triple H and Stephanie look on pleased with Reigns. Reigns stands over Bryan's body as RAW ends.
