Wrestling Lockup with Brandon, brought to you by Triple Threat CLE. It's the RAW recap from last night's show. RAW took place live in Denver, Colorado. Last week's RAW was "Snowed In" and had interview segments with Seth Rollins, Brock Lesnar and Roman Reigns. We also found out John Cena would face Rusev and Triple H has dared Sting to have a face to face meeting with him, both taking place at WWE Fast Lane. What will tonight have in store for us? Lets find out.
- In Ring Segment with The Authority: Stephanie talks about last night's Super Bowl having controversy. Triple H brings up the #CancelWWENetwork hash tag on Twitter and is here to address the Royal Rumble controversy. The controversy is The Rock getting involved because he's no longer a WWE Superstar and had no business in the rumble. Issues with The Rock and Sting need to stop and Triple H plans on doing it. Stephanie feels a different superstar could've won the Rumble if The Rock didn't interfere and feel maybe Roman Reigns shouldn't be facing Brock Lesnar. Reigns interrupts and is in the ring, face to face with Triple H. Reigns says they are not taking his title shot away as Stephanie stands between the two and tells Reigns to stop and think because the family he's trying to impress is the reason he probably shouldn't main event Wrestlemania (Reigns and Rock are cousins, the family that's being mentioned). Daniel Bryan comes out next and is in the ring. Bryan feels bad for Reigns because The Authority put him through the same thing last year. Bryan wants a rematch for the WWE World Heavyweight Championship, because he was stripped of it due to injury and never given a rematch. Triple H would've given it to him, but Bryan was cocky and entered the rumble when he shouldn't have. Seth Rollins is out next and mocks Bryan for wanting a shot at Lesnar, cause Lesnar would eat Bryan alive. Rollins says he deserves a shot because he went toe-to-toe with Lesnar at the rumble and Reigns got help winning the rumble so he should be excluded. Reigns threatens to knock out Rollins. Triple H announces Daniel Bryan vs. Seth Rollins tonight with the winner facing Roman Reigns at WWE Fast Lane and then the winner of that gets Brock Lesnar at Wrestlemania. Reigns is pissed but finally agrees to the stipulations because it's always been one vs. all. Triple H then announces Reigns vs. Big Show and that match is now.
Rollins and the Stooges are at ringside for this one. Show tosses Reigns to the floor and into the barricade. Back in the ring, Reigns hits too clotheslines and one off the turn buckle on Show. Reigns clotheslines Show to the floor then hits the apron dropkick. Noble distracts Reigns, which allows Show to hit a spear for in near fall. Reigns counters the chokeslam with a kick and a right hand. Reigns sends Noble off the apron into Rollins. Reigns hits the "Superman Punch" on Show but Mercury distracts the referee. Rollins hits Reigns with his briefcase allowing Show to chokeslam Reigns. Show covers and scores the pinfall.
- Backstage, Triple H and Stephanie are watching. They almost feel sorry for Reigns, then talk about Triple H on Steve Austin's podcast after RAW.
- In Ring Segment with Curtis Axel: Axel says he was never eliminated in the rumble and would've won if not for Erick Rowan. Axel wants Brock Lesnar and a WWE World Heavyweight Championship Match. Dean Ambrose comes to the ring, tosses Axel over the top rope to the floor and tells him he's eliminated now. Ambrose announces that he wants a shot at Bad News Barrett and the WWE Intercontinental Championship. Ambrose feels he deserves it after pinning Barrett a few weeks back. Axel gets back in the ring and attacks Ambrose. Ambrose fights back and lays Axel out with "Dirty Deeds".
- Black History Month honoring WWE Hall of Famer, Ernie "The Big Cat" Ladd video.
- The Ascension vs. Stardust and Goldust: Viktor with a huge slam on Stardust. The Ascension continue working over the Rhodes Brothers with major offense. Goldust hits Viktor on the apron and fights with Konnar in the ring. Konnar lands a knee on Goldust, then deliver the "Fall Of Man" for the pinfall. After the match, Stardust is pissed at Goldust for losing and tells Goldust to get his head on straight.
- Backstage, Stardust is still throwing a fit about their tag team loss. Goldust tells him to calm down and calls him by his real name, Cody. Stardust tells Goldust to never call him that name ever again.
- In Ring Segment with John Cena: Cena plugs the Steve Austin podcast with Triple H. Talks about Austin asking the questions everyone wants to hear and not pulling back. Cena talks about The Authority and we see highlights of Sting helping Cena win two weeks ago. Cena calls out Dolph Ziggler, Erick Rowan and Ryback. Those three are proof that The Authority can be beaten, just like his Fast Lane opponent, Rusev. Out comes Stephanie, with the interruption. Ziggler starts mocking Stephanie but gets cut off. Stephanie announces Ziggler vs. Bray Wyatt, Erick Rowan vs. Rusev and Ryback vs. Luke Harper, for tonight.
- Ryback vs. Luke Harper: Ryback suplex on Harper. Second rope splash by Ryback for a two count. Harper finally takes control with a drop kick. Harper with a senton splash on Ryback for a near fall. Ryback with the Thesz Press, some head slams and a splash for a two count. Ryback hits the spinebuster and sets Harper up for the "Meat Hook". Harper counters and hits a super kick for a near fall. Ryback regains offense and hits the "Meat Hook" followed by the "Shell Shock" for the pinfall.
- Jimmy Uso vs. Cesaro: Cesaro and Jimmy trade blows early. Jimmy hits a couple chops and an elbow for a two count. Cesaro dodges a Jimmy suicide dive then talks trash to Jey Uso. Jimmy hits the dive on the second attempt, while Cesaro is distracted. Cesaro lands an ax handle, some forearms and submission wrestling. Jimmy hits the super kick on Cesaro. Cesaro returns with the "Cesaro Swing" then locks in a half boston crab. Jimmy ends up on the floor where Tyson Kidd fakes a punch, distracting the referee. Cesaro gets caught with a kick by Jimmy. Jimmy hits the "Rikishi Splash" and goes to the top rope. Kidd again distracts The Usos, which allows Cesaro to nail Jimmy with the european uppercut in mid-air for the pinfall.
- Backstage, a guy asks for Damien Sandow's autograph which pisses The Miz off. Miz calls Sandow an arrogant jerk, belittles Sandow and says Sandow was nothing till he teamed with The Miz. Miz says Sandow has an ungrateful attitude and fires Sandow. Miz then takes the firing back and demoted him to an assistant.
- Backstage, Erick Rowan thanks John Cena cause no one ever stood up for him. Rowan wants to do Cena a favor by taking Rusev out tonight. Rowan and Cena shake hands.
- Dolph Ziggler vs. Bray Wyatt: Wyatt cheap shots and chokes Ziggler. Ziggler goes for the "Fameasser" but Wyatt goes to the floor. Wyatt splash for a two count. Wyatt has control of the match as Ziggler tries to fight back. Wyatt dumps Ziggler on the floor and laughs. Wyatt with an elbow for a near fall. Ziggler lands an elbow then forces Wyatt into the turn buckle. Ziggler comes off the top rope but Wyatt lands a punch. Ziggler with a clothesline, a neck breaker and a big elbow for a near fall on Wyatt. Ziggler counters "Sister Abigail" with a DDT for a near fall. Ziggler again misses a "Famasser" attempt. Wyatt lands a punch, but Ziggler finally hits the "Famasser". Wyatt is back up and hits Ziggler with "Sister Abigail" and scores the pinfall.
- Backstage, Seth Rollins applauds Triple H and Stephanie for their plan earlier tonight. The Authority take shots at Daniel Bryan and Randy Orton. Rollins laughs about putting Orton out with an injury. Rollins plans on capitalizing on what he did to Orton.
- Paige vs. Alicia Fox: Paige and Fox are on the floor, brawling. Back in the ring, Fox gets a near fall on a roll up. Fox keeps control of the match and hits her trademarked northern lights suplex. Fox hits a back breaker but Paige steals a pinfall out of nowhere. After the match, Fox attacks Paige then holds Paige down with her boot allowing The Bella Twins to spray Paige with spray tan.
- The Miz vs. Sin Cara: Miz mat wrestles early as the fans chant for Damien Sandow. Cara with a couple cross bodies off the ropes, taking control. Cara misses a senton splash. Miz climbs the ropes and Sandow does too. Miz yells at Sandow to stop doing stunt double work because he's an assistant now. Miz takes down Cara then yells at Sandow more. Miz hits a clothesline for a near fall and goes back to mat wrestling. Cara with a near fall rollup. Miz near fall with a clothesline. Miz more mat wrestling then hits the back breaker/neck breaker combo. Sandow gets on the apron and the fans cheer, pissing Miz off. Cara rolls Miz up from behind on the distraction and scores the pinfall. After the match, Miz yells more at Sandow.
- Bray Wyatt Titantron Appearance: Bray appears and says he's been watching a certain person who's had people in fear. Wyatt says he's the new face of fear, the devil is real and he can't wait to see this person again.
- Rusev vs. Erick Rowan: Rusev kicks Rowan to the floor then tosses him into the ring post. Rusev with knees to the face and a scoop slam. Rusev with more knees to the face and the referee calls off the match. Rusev lands stomps, a punch to the face then chokes Rowan. Rusev hits the thrust kick on Rowan. Rusev stomps on Rowan's back and locks in "The Accolade". Lana says this is Rusev's Oscar performance of what will happen to John Cena and anyone else that opposes Rusev.
- Backstage, Roman Reigns tells Daniel Bryan that Seth Rollins will get what he deserves. Bryan says he hopes he's not thinking it'll be at Fast Lane because it'll be Bryan he's fighting not Rollins. Reigns doesn't care who he fights because he's still going to Wrestlemania.
- Seth Rollins vs. Daniel Bryan: Rollins and Bryan go back and forth early. Bryan armbar submission but Rollins gets to the ropes. Rollins tosses Bryan to the floor and into the barricade. Big Show arrives at ringside to watch. Rollins neck breaker for a near fall. Bryan makes a comeback but Rollins regains offense with stomps. Rollins with mounted corner fists until Bryan counters with a clothesline. Bryan with a running kick for a near fall. Bryan goes for the "Yes Lock" but can't apply it. Bryan tosses Rollins out and onto The Stooges. Bryan suicide dives and takes out Rollins and The Stooges. Rollins crotches Bryan on the ropes and joins Bryan on the turnbuckles. Bryan super back drops Rollins off the ropes for a near fall. Bryan goes for the running knee but Rollins counters with the turn buckle power bomb. Rollins gets a near fall before Bryan gets the "Yes Lock" submission applied on Rollins. Rollins gets a foot on the ropes, breaking the hold. Roman Reigns hits the ring and spears Big Show on the floor. Reigns gives chase to Rollins next then spears Mercury. Noble is in the ring with Rollins' briefcase, distracting the referee. Reigns hits the "Superman Punch" on Rollins, allowing Bryan to hit the running knee to score the pinfall. Daniel Bryan will meet Roman Reigns at WWE Fast Lane.
- Backstage, Triple H is asked for comments. Triple H says he's leaving to go do the Steve Austin podcast.
- Back in the ring the "Yes Movement" is going again as Daniel Bryan celebrates his win into WWE Fast Lane against Roman Reigns.
