Wrestling Lockup with Brandon 2.14.15: #TNA #ImpactWrestling Recap

Wrestling Lockup with Brandon, brought to you by Triple Threat CLE. It's this week's TNA Impact recap edition. It's the first Impact after last week's highly successful Lockdown free tv pay per view. Lockdown scored TNA the highest ratings they've had since making the jump to Destination America. What new feuds will develop, now that the career ending Six Sides of Steel event has passed? Let's get to last night's recap as TNA visits Glasgow, Scotland.

- In Ring Segment with Kurt Angle: Angle puts over Team Angle for winning last week, then calls out Bobby Lashley. Lashley comes to the ring and goes face to face with Angle. Angle thanks Lashley for joining Team Angle and shakes Lashley's hand. Lashley says he just wanted to get his hands on MVP. Angle next asks for a TNA World Title Match, but the Beat Down Clan interrupt. MVP states that the BDC never lost last week because Lashley wasn't in the match. MVP makes a claim for a shot at the TNA World Title and asks who wants their ass kicked first. Lashley says he and Angle will face any two BDC members tonight.

- Backstage, Ethan Carter III and Tyrus hype tonight's handicap match against Rockstar Spud, Mark Andrews and Jeremy Borash. ECIII is still obsessed with wanting to shave Spud's head.

- Austin Aries vs. Bobby Roode: Roode hits a drop kick, a suplex and drives home some shoulders in the corner. Roode goes for the "Roode Bomb" but Aries counters the finisher. Roode with the spine buster and goes to mat wrestling. Aries lands some mounted punches but Roode hits a neck breaker for a near fall. Aries lands a drop kick and hits a elbow, sending Roode to the floor. Aries misses a suicide dive and kisses the barricade. Back in the ring, Aries goes for a small package, but Roode counters with the crossface submission. Aries tries to escape but eventually taps out.

- In Ring Segment with Bobby Roode: Roode says he respects Aries and shakes Aries' hand. Roode wants another shot at Bobby Lashley and the TNA World Title. Eric Young hits the ring, out of nowhere and attacks Roode. EY plants Roode with the piledriver and talks trash while Roode is out. TNA officials help Roode to the back, but EY attacks again. EY plants Roode with another piledriver, this time driving Roode down on the steel ramp.

- In Ring Segment with Al Snow: Snow talks about Grado, who was on British Bootcamp 2. Grado comes to the ring and goes face to face with Snow. Snow says Grado has no heart, passion, doesn't respect wrestling, disrespected Snow and offers Grado one more chance to quit. Grado tells Snow to shut up. Snow turns his attention to Grado's family in the front row and begins harassing Grado's mom. Grado's mom hits Snow and Grado attacks Snow from behind. Snow retreats and threatens to kick Grado's ass.

- Bram vs. Crazy Steve: Steve gets in a few shots on Bram. Bram unloads shots of his own and grabs a microphone. Bram stomps on Steve and calls out Magnus. Magnus no shows, as Bram drives Steve into the mat with a DDT. Bram covers and scores the pinfall.

- Backstage, Gunner asks Kurt Angle if he can really trust Bobby Lashley. Angle thinks nothing of the matter.

- "Handicap Match": Ethan Carter III and Tyrus vs. Rockstar Spud, Jeremy Borash and Mark Andrews: JB gets some knees in on ECIII until ECIII returns with punches. ECIII misses a splash and Andrews is in. Tyrus is in and punches Andrews and ECIII locks in a camel clutch. Andrews hits some jabs and an enziguiri on ECIII. Spud is in and unloads with kicks and stomps on ECIII, until Tyrus grabs Spud by the head. Tyrus misses a splash on Spud and flattens ECIII instead. Spud hits a springboard cutter on Tyrus and JB follows with a splash on the floor.
ECIII catches Spud from behind and hits the "One Percenter" to pick up the pinfall. After the match, ECIII tries to shave Spud's head but the arena goes dark. The lights are back on and Mr. Anderson is in the ring. Anderson fakes ECIII and Tyrus into thinking he's on their side, before delivering a couple low blows. ECIII and Tyrus retreat before Anderson can do more damage.

- Backstage, Kenny King and Low Ki of the Beat Down Clan lay out Gunner.

- Awesome Kong vs. Madison Rayne: Kong attacks at the bell and drops Rayne. Kong irish whips Rayne into the corner. Kong goes for a splash but Rayne dodges. Rayne gets in some kicks, but Kong goes back on offense. Kong delivers the "Implant Buster", covers Rayne and scores the pinfall.

- In Ring Segment with Matt Hardy: Matt gives us an update on Jeff Hardy's condition, after Jeff took that nasty spill off the cage last week. James Storm interrupts and says he destroyed everyone's hero (Jeff Hardy) and gives Matt two choices. Either join Revolution or join Jeff in the hospital. Matt nails Storm in the face for his answer. The rest of Revolution hit the ring and beat down Matt. Manik applies an armbar and Storm threatens to break Matt's arm. The Wolves hit the ring and make the save for Matt.

- MVP and Samoa Joe vs. Kurt Angle and Bobby Lashley: MVP and Joe double team Lashley in the corner. Joe goes for a slam but Lashley counters with his own. Angle is in and suplexes Joe and MVP, then hits Joe with the "Angle Slam" for a near fall. Angle gets double teamed in the corner next. Lashley is tagged in and hits clotheslines, a power slam and then spears MVP in the corner. Lashley goes for another spear but MVP counters with an elbow. Lashley hits MVP then goes to spear Joe. Angle cuts in front of Lashley, tackles Joe and applies the ankle lock submission. MVP breaks the submission then shoves Angle into Lashley. Lashley gets rolled up and pinned during all the distractions. Lashley and Angle have words with each other as Impact closes out.
