On The Mark 8.31.14: Buckeyes Recap

After shaky first half, J.T. Barrett help lead Buckeyes to 34-17 win
By @MarkW2112

Starting his first ever game as an Ohio State Buckeye, freshman quarterback J.T. Barrett started off a bit shaky but ended it in glorious fashion with a 34-17 win over a very tough Navy team that had abused the Buckeyes defense most of the day, totally up 370 of rushing yards, with 118 of those from Ryan Williams-Jennings.

Playing in front of mostly Navy members, cadets and fans at M&T Bank Stadium in Baltimore, the Buckeyes were down 7-6 at the half, with Navy taking full advantage of their triple option package, which seemed to completely fool the Buckeyes defense. J.T. Barrett was able to lead the Bucks offense, with many new starters, to 2 field goals but was also intercepted in the red zone.

At the start of the second half, Navy was driving down the field once again, but a fumble recovery by Darron Lee was taken 61 yards for a touchdown to make it 13-7. On the next series, Navy was able to score a TD to make it 14-13. But that was the last lead they’d have against the Bucks. After the kickoff was a touchback to the 20 yard line, Barrett threw a bomb to Devin Smith and took it 80 yards for score to make it 20-14. The offense proceeded to score 2 more TD’s to put the game out of reach, with the Buckeyes D finally being able to settle down and make the stops against Navy.

It was a rough start for the Buckeyes. But once Barrett and the offense as well as the defense settled down, the Buckeyes were able to beat Navy and win their 25 regular season game in a row.
Next week will be another test for the young Buckeyes against Virginia Tech, but this time it will be in the happy confines of The Horseshoe in Columbus.

Play of the game: J.T. Barrett’s bullet to Devin Smith who then outran the defender for an 80 yard touchdown in the third quarter. This played seemed to wake up the Buckeyes offensively.

What defense?: In the past, the defense would usually help out the offense in the first few games. This wasn’t the case against Navy with its triple option running scheme. Missed tackles also seemed to occur just as it had last year. That said, they won’t have to face another offense like this for the rest of the season.

Player of the game: J.T. Barrett, who was 12/15 for 226 yards in the air as well as 50 yards rushing on 9 attempts. Nerves obviously played a big part of his first half but he was still able to get the Buckeyes to 2 field goals before finding a rhythm in the second half. He will face a bigger obstacle next week against Virginia Tech.

Next game: Virginia Tech in Columbus at 8 PM.

Wrestling Lockup with Brandon, 8.30.14: Smackdown

By @BSA1978

Wrestling Lockup with Brandon is here, brought to you by Triple Threat Podcast. Today's edition is the Smackdown recap edition. The show kicks off with a Shield/Wyatt Family feud renewed.

- Roman Reigns vs Bray Wyatt (w/Rowan and Harper): Reigns gets attacked on the floor by Rowan and Harper causing the DQ. Big Show and Mark Henry hit the ring for the save. Reigns hits a "Superman Punch" and the Wyatt Family retreat.

- It's announced that the main event tonight will be Roman Reigns, Big Show and Mark Henry vs The Wyatt Family.

- Seth Rollins vs Rob Van Dam: RVD misses the "five star frog splash" and gets hit with an enziguiri. Rollins and RVD trade blows on top of the turnbuckle. Rollins hits RVD with two turnbuckle power bombs and finishes it with a "curb stomp" for the pinfall.

- Emma vs Paige: Paige makes quick work of Emma before she can "steal" one. Paige makes Emma tap out to the "PTO". A.J. Lee comes out after the match and plays more mind games with Paige. A.J. gives Paige a box of chocolates and tells Paige to eat one. Paige spits it back at A.J., smirks and skips away.

- "Submission Match": Jack Swagger vs Rusev (w/ Lana): Swagger with the "Patriot Lock" but Rusev escapes to the floor. Swagger gets the "Patriot Lock" applied a few more times but Rusev again escapes all attempts. Rusev works on Swagger's ribs and locks on "The Accolade", Swagger refuses to tap out. A white towel is thrown in the ring, causing confusion. As the referee has his back turned, Bo Dallas slides in the ring and drops Swagger from behind. Rusev reapplies "The Accolade" forcing Swagger to tap out. Dallas gives Swagger a "Bo-Lieve" inspirational speech after the match then lays Swagger out with a "Bo-Dog".

- Backstage Segment: The Miz is on the phone with his agent, talking about starring in a new movie. Corporate Kane interrupts, takes Miz's phone and tells his agent he won't make it because he's fighting Sheamus tonight.

- Stardust (w/ Goldust) vs Jimmy Uso (w/ Jey Uso): The Rhodes Brothers apologize to The Usos for attacking them after the match on RAW. Jimmy gets the surprise rollup for the pinfall on Stardust. After the match The Rhodes Brothers again attack The Usos and leave them laid out.

- The Miz vs Sheamus: The Miz again uses Damian Sandow as his stunt double for the match. Sheamus hits "white noise" on Sandow for the pinfall. After the match, Miz hits Sheamus then runs away. Dolph Ziggler comes out and throws Miz back in the ring. Miz ducks Sheamus' "brogue kick" and escapes. Sheamus hits Sandow with a "brogue kick" instead.

- Roman Reigns, Mark Henry & Big Show vs The Wyatt Family: Reigns hits the spear on Harper for the pinfall. Reigns, Show and Henry celebrate as Smackdown comes to an end.

And that's this week's Smackdown recap. Till next time, tap or snap.

On The Mark 8.29.14: Ohio State @ Navy Preview

On The Mark: Ohio State Buckeyes Game Day Preview
Ohio State vs. Navy 8/30/14
By @MarkW2112

Saturday officially begins the 2014 Ohio State Buckeyes football season. It also starts a new era at quarterback. Freshman J.T. Barrett will start his first game as a Buckeye Saturday at noon at M&T Bank Stadium in Baltimore, MD. It should be a very good test for him and an offense with 4 new starters on the offensive line.

This one could come down to the Buckeyes defense, even without stud DL Joey Bosa due to a 2 game suspension stemming from last year. This may be one of the most uncertain opening games for the Buckeyes in almost 12 years.

I’ll know I’ll be watching! Watch for my after the game summary on TripleThreatPodcast!

Around the B1G with K8, 8.29.14: Big Ten Season Preview

Around the B1G with K8
By Cleveland Kate (@ClvlndK8)

With all the changes in the Big Ten this off-season, let’s start with a look at the new divisions and the 7 teams in each one. Frankly, I like the “East” and “West” names much better than “Legends” and “Leaders.” I never really understood the point of those names and trying to remember who was in each division was a pain in the neck.

Big Ten – East
Ohio State
Penn State
Indiana
Maryland
Michigan State
Michigan
Rutgers

Big Ten – West
Nebraska
Wisconsin
Illinois
Iowa
Purdue
Northwestern
Minnesota

Now that we’ve got that out of the way, here are some tidbits worth knowing about the teams…

Minnesota – Jeff Jones, running back recruit, is still awaiting an eligibility decision from the NCAA. His SAT scores and GPA were not good enough to gain him admission and a football scholarship. He had an option to go to JUCO for two years, improve academically, and then transfer. He’s declined that option and Coach Jeff Kill and the Gopher staff is working hard on his behalf to get the NCAA to grant him eligibility. In the meantime, David Cobb and Berkley Edwards will do just fine.

Rutgers – If nothing else, joining the B1G has done wonders for ticket sales… their home opener sold out and the 30,927 season tickets sold is a new record. It’s too soon to tell if they’ll be able to compete with the “Big boys” on the field, but fans are definitely excited.

Michigan State – Ranked #8 to start the season, and the favorite to win the B1G again this year, the Spartans have 15 starters returning.

Penn State – Christian Hackenberg is one of the best QBs in the conference, perhaps all of college football. While they are struggling with depth issues, they have still put together a solid team and watching Hackenberg should be fun even if their record isn’t great.

Iowa - As a result of the season-ending injury to starting fullback Adam Cox, the Hawkeyes will move freshman linebacker Aaron Mends over to the FB position. Mends was a 3-star recruit at linebacker but he did play quite a bit of running back in high school, so Coach Kirk Ferentz is hopeful this will fil the need created by Cox’s injury.

Michigan – It’s clear the Coach Brady Hoke is on the hot seat and even he seems to know that. Back in January he fired Offensive Coordinator Al Borges, as if it’s his fault that the offense struggled, and hired Doug Nussmeier. While Nuss may have a national championship on his resume, it won’t be enough to beat the Buckeyes. Just saying.

Purdue - Yeah, not really a good team and nobody worries about them on the schedule… the biggest question being can we score over 50 on them or not… But this year they’ve hired a new head coach, are paying him big money, and expect to start seeing results. It may take a few years to see a difference in the win column, but don’t be surprised at the changes Coach Darrell Hazell brings. He held assistant coaching positions at Oberlin, Eastern Illinois, Penn, Western Michigan, Army, West Virginia, and Rutgers. Hazell then served as the wide receivers coach at Ohio State under Jim Tressel from 2004 to 2010. In December 2010, Kent State hired him as its head coach, where he was named 2012 Mid-American Conference Coach of the Year by the conference's coaches. And now he’s off to Purdue.

Ohio State – Yeah, I saved this one for last. Ranked #5, that could quickly change depending on how the QB situation plays out. While the injury to QB Braxton Miller is devastating for him on a personal level, most believe – myself included – that freshman J.T. Barrett might be just fine taking over the job. He’s an Urban Meyer Guy and, if his high school You Tube videos are for real, should be able to hold his own this season. While I’m not sure we can get back to the top of the B1G, there’s no reason to write the Buckeyes off just yet…

So that’s what I have for this week. Stop back next week for my list of “happenings” in the B1G, stuff I think you should know, and general Buckeye positivity….

Respectfully Submitted,
Cleveland Kate

On The Mark 8.29.14: Browns React (By @MarkW2112)

Browns win their final preseason game 33-13 over the Bears, now prepare for cuts and the Steelers
By @MarkW2112

As the Browns played their final preseason game Thursday night against the Chicago Bears, they needed to come out and make a big splash in order to bring a positive vibe going in to their first game against the Steelers in Pittsburgh on September 7. Thankfully, there were a few more positives than negatives during the Browns 33-13 victory over the Chicago Bears at First Energy Field.

The Browns 1st string offense had an 85 yard drive (albeit against Chicago’s backup defense) capped by a 2 yard touchdown run by Ben Tate. The most impressive part of the drive was Taylor Gabriel who may make the team as the slot receiver with Andrew Hawkins starting opposite Miles Austin this season.

After the successful first series, Johnny Manziel and the second team offense came in and were hot and cold, with a dropped pass by Gary Barnidge and then a fumble by Terrance West on their first drive. After that, Manziel was able to make some dynamic plays, including a 27 yard pass to Nate Burleson after doing what he does best, weaving and avoiding defenders before making the throw. It was probably the most dynamic play Manziel had in the 4 preseason games this year, leading the Browns to a touchdown and a field goal before the end of the first half. The only downside were JFF’s long ball, which looked like wounded ducks more often than not.

Defensively, they were not as bad on third down as they were against the Rams last Saturday night. However, Leon McFadden yet again looked to be a bubble guy who won’t make the team. Justin Gilbert, like he did many times last Saturday, got burned on pass plays, with his most poignant on a catch by Santonio Holmes in which he ran 32 yards for a touchdown where Gilbert went inside instead of outside to stop Holmes. Hopefully Gilbert will learn but his struggles are slightly worrisome for the number 8 pick in the 2014 draft. After that touchdown, the Browns second and third string defense played with much more passion, with guys on the bubble making a case to make the team.

Probably the biggest surprise of the night was the explosiveness of Isiah Crowell, who really hasn’t been on the field that much during the preseason. His 48 yard TD run was absolutely incredible. He ended his night with 102 yards on 13 carries. He absolutely made a case for himself with his burst off the line of scrimmage and tough running, plowing over defenders for extra yards. It’s obvious Dion Lewis will make the roster but Crowell may make it difficult for the Browns to cut him and hope he doesn’t get picked up before going on the Practice Squad.

Now the Browns have some tough choices to make before the final cuts. Do they keep receivers like Nate Burleson, Taylor Gabriel and Willie Snead or go after some cut veterans? Or do they trade one of their linemen (perhaps Ahtyba Ruben) for receiver help? Also, with the emergence of Isiah Crowell tonight, do they keep 4 running backs? A lot of decisions to make it the 53 man roster.

This may have been the final preseason game for the Browns, but it’s now time to get to work.

Wrestling Lockup with Brandon 8.28.14: TNA Impact

Wrestling Lockup with Brandon is here with your TNA news and Impact recap. As always this is brought to you by Triple Threat Podcast.

TNA might have found themselves a new tv deal in the works. Discovery's Velocity Network have shown interest with running TNA on their channel. The bad news, however, is Velocity is only available in HD and available in less than 50 million homes. TNA would have to make some major production and talent cuts and that could turn out to be the final nail in TNA's coffin.

- Sources have stated this past week that Bully Ray has wrestled his last match with TNA. Bully Ray's contract has expired and he has shown no interest in resigning.

- Rumors circulated this past week, stating that TNA's Kurt Angle had been trying to get a deal with WWE. WWE COO, Triple H, has shown no interest in resigning Angle due to his constant injury status. Angle then went over Triple H's head and asked the man himself, Vince McMahon, for a new deal. Vince stated that Triple H deals with the talent now. This angered Triple H and may have ruined Angle's chances for getting back in the WWE for trying to go over his head and asking Vince.
Alright let's get to this week's TNA Impact recap for the week.

- TNA Impact kicked off from New York City with Kurt Angle in the ring cutting a promo. Angle talks about tonight's show when out comes MVP, Bobby Lashley and Kenny King. MVP says Angle isn't fair and panders to scumbags, rips on New York City and announces Bobby Lashley the real King of New York. ECW icon, Tommy Dreamer, arrives and mocks MVP, King and Lashley. King hits Dreamer from behind and throws him out of the ring. Dreamer pulls King to the floor and hits him then threatens MVP with a kendo stick. Angle announces Tommy Dreamer vs Bobby Lashley right now to see who the real King of New York is.

- Tommy Dreamer vs Bobby Lashley: Dreamer gets a couple kendo stick shots in on Lashley. King tries to interfere but Dreamer drops him. Dreamer goes for another kendo stick shot but gets speared by Lashley for the pinfall.

- "#1 Contender’s Match for the TNA Knockouts Championship": Madison Rayne vs Taryn Terrell: Rayne tries to cheat and use the ropes for leverage on a pin but the referee busts her. Rayne and the referee argue then Rayne charges at Terrell. Terrell lands a diving cutter on Rayne for the pinfall.

- Backstage Segment: Gunner and Samuel Shaw are in Gunner's apartment. Gunner and Shaw talk about what happened with Mr. Anderson and Gunner tells Shaw to let it go. Shaw tries on one of his military uniforms and Gunner catches him. Shaw salutes Gunner, Gunner tells him to take it off or he'll take it off for him.

- "Six Man Tag Match": Tigre Uno, Crazzy Steve and Low Ki vs Manik, DJ Z and Homicide: Low Ki hits a springboard thrust kick and hits the "ki krusher" to score the pinfall for his team.

- In Ring Segment: Bobby Roode is in the ring for a promo. Roode says that he and Eric Young will have a #1 contenders match to determine who will face Bobby Lashley for the TNA World Title. Eric Young comes to the ring. Roode and EY talk about their history in TNA together. Roode and EY talk each other up with compliments and promise to put on one hell of a match next week.

- Ethan Carter III (w/ Rockstar Spud) vs Rhino: Rhino goes for the gore but Spud grabs his leg. The referee tries to get rid of Spud as ECIII low blows Rhino. Rhino kicks out and goes for another gore but Spud again grabs his leg. Rhino knocks Spud out as ECIII grabs a chair. ECIII gets himself DQ'ed with a chair shot to Rhino.

- In Ring Segment: James Storm cuts a promo in the ring. Storm says he is the leader of a revolution and will lead men who need a reawakening. He intros the first of many, The Great Sanada.

- The Great Sanada (w/James Storm) vs Austin Aries: Aries climbs the ropes but Storm shakes them, causing Aries to lose his balance. The referee argues with Storm as Sanada sprays mist into Aries eyes. Sanada hits a super kick on Aries to score the pinfall.

- In Ring Segment: Kurt Angle welcomes former armed forces officer, Chris Melendez to the ring. Melendez will be competing in TNA. Mr. Anderson talks about meeting Melendez for the first time. Bully Ray and Devon talk about training Melendez and officially welcome Melendez to TNA.

- "TNA Tag Team Series": The Hardys vs Team 3D vs The Wolves: Davey Richards kicks Matt in the head and climbs the ropes. Matt dodges the double stomp and hits "Twist Of Fate". Matt gets pulled outside by Bully Ray but Jeff hits the swanton bomb. Jeff covers but the pin is broken up. Team 3D hit the "Death Drop" and cover for the pinfall. Team 3D takes the first fall in the tag team series. Team 3D celebrates as Impact closes out.

And that wraps up this week's addition of TNA impact recap. I will be back next Thursday afternoon for more TNA news and Impact recap action. Till then, tap or snap.

Leadoff with Lee 8.28.14

-Over the last 5 days, the trending topics on Facebook and Twitter have been the following: Lebron James, Kevin Love, Cleveland Cavaliers, Cleveland Browns and Josh Gordon. With all of attention Cleveland has been getting, you would think we were sitting on top of the world right?

WRONG!

After 23 days of waiting, we learned yesterday afternoon Josh Gordon's appeal of his suspension was upheld and will now sit out the entire 2014 NFL season. Now Josh Gordon and his legal team have every right to file for a temporary restraining order against the NFL, and if granted will allow him to play football while the matter is handled in Cuyahoga Court of Common Pleas. But in the statement released by the NFL, the said "When the season is over, the NFL will determine when he's eligible to apply for reinstatement." So basically it's stating in my opinion, "File a lawsuit against us and we will make sure you never play in the NFL again." But if Gordon wins in the court of law, his case will be used to change the NFL drug policy and collective bargaining agreement. I'm sure Josh Gordon's legal team is exploring all legal options available to them.

-The Indians 3 game winning streak came to an end as the White Sox defeated the Tribe 3-2 at U.S. Cellular Field last night. Ace Corey Kluber pitched 6 1/3 innings, gave up 9 hits, 3 earned runs while striking out 8. Michael Bourn went 2 for 4 on the night. The Indians did manage to get 7 hits total for the game, but couldn't take advantage to score when they had runners in scoring position. Sox pitcher Hector Noesi improved to 8-9 on the season. Carlos Carrasco will get the start tonight as the Tribe looks to bounce back with a win tonight against the "Pale Hose".

-The Ohio State Buckeyes released their depth chart yesterday and out of the 22 positions, 7 of them are up for grabs. The main battles are for running back (Ezekiel Elliot, Rod Smith or Curtis Samuel), halfback (Dontre Wilson or Jalin Marshall), cornerback (Eli Apple or Gareon Conley), center (Chad Lindsay or Jacob Boren), safety (Vonn Bell or Cam Burrows), and left guard (Joel Hale or Bill Price). It seems as if Urban Meyer will have a nice rotation of players at key positions until someone has a breakout game or week in practice.

-Doc Rivers and the Los Angeles Clippers agreed to a 5-year contact extension that will keep him in L.A. through the 2018-2019 NBA season. Rivers is also the president of basketball operations for the Clippers. New Clippers owner Steve Ballmer said, "Not only is Doc one of the best coaches and executives in the game, but he continually embodies the hardcore, committed, and resilient character and winning culture that the Clippers represent."

The Raven Report 8.27.14

-Its officially time to spread the "Love" in Cleveland. Yesterday, the Cavaliers held an introductory press conference for the recently acquired ex-Timberwolves forward Kevin Love. Love said that LeBron James called him after he made his decision to return to Cleveland in hopes of Love joining him. GM David Griffin mentioned that the Cavs have been trying to trade for Love for over a year. Though he is only under contract through this next season, Love did say that he was committed to Cleveland for the long term and wants to win championships here. Minnesota Timberwolves owner Glen Taylor said that he thinks Cleveland will "expose stuff like Love not playing much defense on their team". Personally, I feel that Love WILL play defense because he has renewed motivation and a breath of fresh air getting out of the basketball hell that is Minnesota. Mr. Taylor needs to worry about bringing a winning season to his own team this decade.

-In the final tune up for the FIBA World Cup of Basketball, the USA defeated Slovenia 101-71 in Bilbao, Spain. Anthony Davis led the way with 18 points and 11 rebounds. Cavaliers point guard Kyrie Irving added 13. Davis and Kenneth Faried have been dominate forces in the paint. Team USA will open up against Finland on Saturday. A potential matchup versus Spain wouldn't come until September 14. Spain is definitely going to be a challenge with their roster that includes Pau Gasol, Marc Gasol, Serge Ibaka, Ricky Rubio and others.

-In 10 innings, Zach Walters and the Cleveland Indians defeated the Chicago White Sox 8-6. Walters banged a two-run homer in the 10th to put the Tribe over. Bryan Shaw put in 2 and a third scoreless innings of work in relief to gain the win. Tonight, Tribe ace Corey Kluber will start about Chicago's Hector Noesi. Game time at 8 PM.

-ESPN's Adam Schefter reported that the NFL has made its decision on the appeal for Browns' WR Josh Gordon. An announcement should finally come soon. I'm only saying soon because every time a date has been said, nothing has happened. On a related note, Gordon's hearing for a July DWI in North Carolina was rescheduled to November 18.

-The NFL fined the Seattle Seahawks $200,000 and coach Pete Carroll $100,000 and will lose 2 double practices in 2015 for violating no-contact rules in offseason practices.

-Italian soccer star Mario Balotelli was transferred (traded) from AC Milan to Liverpool last week for £16million, about $26.5million in American dollars. He is expected to make his debut for Liverpool at Tottenham on Sunday.

-US soccer star goalkeeper Tim Howard is taking a break from soccer for a year. The 35-year-old Howard will not play again for the United States until September 2015. On Monday, Howard signed a book deal, so be on the lookout for that.

- In some entertainment news, comedian Mike Epps has been cast to play legendary comedian Richard Pryor. It's being brought to the big screen by Lee Daniels (The Butler, Monster's Ball, Precious) and Oprah Winfrey. Oprah will also star in the movie as Pryor's grandma. Before his 2005 death, Pryor himself endorsed Epps to play him on film.

Wrestling Lockup with Brandon 8.26.14: WWE Raw

Wrestling Lockup with Brandon, brought to you by Triple Threat Podcast has arrived with your RAW recap for the week.

- RAW kicked off live from Anaheim, California with Hall of Famers, Hulk Hogan, Ric Flair and Shawn Michaels seated in the ring. The trio review John Cena's rematch with Brock Lesnar coming up at Night of Champions. Michaels and Flair say Cena has no chance of winning against Brock. Hogan says Cena has plenty in the tank to go again. Flair doesn't want to see Cena face Brock again. They all agree they like Cena but Michaels says that doesn't mean he has a chance. Hogan says Cena will find a way to win. John Cena's music hits and out returns the ex-champ. Cena says he took an ass- whooping at SummerSlam, that changes a man, but he wants Brock at Night of Champions in the biggest rematch of his life. Cena says he's beating Brock's ass and leaving the new champion.

- Rusev vs Jack Swagger: Swagger with the "Patriot Lock" but Rusev escapes the ring. Rusev blocks the "Swagger Bomb" but Swagger reverses the block into the "Patriot Lock" again. Rusev escapes to the floor where he gains offense on Swagger. Rusev goes for "The Accolade" but Swagger reverses into the "Patriot Lock" again. Rusev escapes a third time then begins to light up Swagger with kicks, punches and stomps to Swagger's gut. The referee stops the match as Swagger can't continue from the beating on his chest and rib area.

- Backstage Segment: Jack Swagger is getting checked on by the WWE trainers. Bo Dallas shows up and tells Swagger to just "Bo-Lieve"

- "#1 Contender's Match for the United States Championship": Cesaro vs Rob Van Dam: U.S. Champ, Sheamus, is at ringside for this match. Cesaro scores "The Neutralizer" and the pinfall in this back and forth match. After the match Cesaro grabs Sheamus' title, throws it in his face, then leaves before Sheamus can retaliate.

- Nattie Neidhart vs Paige: Nattie with the "sharpshooter" but Paige escapes by grabbing the ring apron curtain. Paige goes for the "PTO", Nattie escapes and goes for another "sharpshooter". Paige escapes and hits the "Paige-Turner" for the pinfall. After the match A.J. Lee comes out and distracts Paige. Paige receives a lariat from Nattie. A.J. helps Paige up, says she loves her, hugs her and kisses Paige's hand. A.J. skips around Paige as Paige is left confused.

- The Dean Ambrose Eulogy: Corporate Kane and Seth Rollins are in the ring at a podium with a portrait of Dean Ambrose beside them. Rollins says he was the leader of The Shield, last week he proved The Authority always prevails when he took out Ambrose. Rollins wonders what went through Ambrose's mind when he stomped the cinder block on his head. Rollins says Ambrose's career can be summed up with two words....what if? Rollins says he created The Shield now he just destroyed it. Roman Reigns' music hits and out comes Reigns through the crowd. Reigns sends Kane into the ring steps. Reigns and Rollins brawl in the ring. Reigns hits Rollins with the podium then drops Rollins with a clothesline. Reigns goes for the "Superman Punch" but Kane pulls Rollins out of the ring with the save.

After the match Goldust demands a rematch now and then the Rhodes Brothers attack The Usos. Goldust and Stardust leave The Usos laid out.

- Backstage Segment: Seth Rollins and Kane are in the back. Rollins says something has to be done about Roman Reigns. Rollins says Reigns will suffer the same fate as Ambrose. Kane announces a handicap match with Kane and Rollins vs Reigns later.

- Video Interview: A video filmed earlier today showing an interview with Brock Lesnar. Lesnar says winning the World Title was a great accomplishment, Cena should have laid down and not taking the beating he did and the only reason Cena survived was because Lesnar showed pity for him. Triple H appears and announces Cena wants a rematch at Night of Champions. Paul Heyman says Cena is out of his mind. Lesnar says that at Night of Champions it'll be Cena's last night in this universe.

- Dolph Ziggler vs The Miz: Miz comes down with Damien Sandow and says that Sandow is his stunt double tonight and he's not wrestling. Ziggler hits the "Zig Zag" on Sandow for the pinfall.

- In Ring Segment: Jerry Lawler is in the ring with Brie and Nikki Bella. Brie apologizes to Nikki for everything that she's ever done to upset Nikki. Nikki calls Brie's apology crap. Nikki says all Brie ever cared about was herself, was always holding her back and wants nothing to do with Brie or the rest of the Bella family anymore. Nikki calls Brie a sad excuse for a sister and wishes she'd died in their mothers womb. Nikki throws Brie down and slams her head into the mat. Nikki slaps Lawler then rains punches down on Brie until Lawler and WWE officials pull Nikki off of Brie. Nikki leaves as Brie is left crying in the ring.

- "Handicap Match": Roman Reigns vs. Seth Rollins and Kane: Reigns goes for the "Superman Punch" but gets grabbed by the throat by Kane. Reigns escapes and spears Kane. Reigns covers for the pin but Rollins hits Reigns with the briefcase, causing a DQ. After the match Kane and Rollins set Reigns up for a cinder block blow to the head. - Los Matadores vs Heath Slater and Titus O'Neil: Slater goes for a clothesline but Diego counters into a crucifix for the pinfall.

- Kofi Kingston vs Bo Dallas: Kofi goes for a springboard in the corner but Bo pushes him away. Bo hits Kofi with the "Bo-Dog" for the pinfall. After the match Dallas grabs a mic and tells Kofi that he's not like Jack Swagger. Kofi let himself down, Swagger let his whole country down. Swagger hits the ring and lays Dallas out with an Olympic slam.

- John Cena vs Bray Wyatt: Cena sending a message to Brock Lesnar as he used the German suplex a few times in this match on Bray. Rowan and Harper hit the ring and attack Cena, causing the DQ. Big Show and Mark Henry hit the ring for the save. We have a six man brawl break out and an impromptu match signed.

- "Six Man Tag Match": John Cena, Big Show and Mark Henry vs The Wyatt Family: Cena hits a German Suplex on Harper. Cena locks in the STF on Harper and makes him tap out for the win. After the match Rowan attacks Cena but Cena lands "AA" on Rowan. Show and Henry throw Bray in the ring and Bray gets laid out with a Cena "AA". Cena hits Harper with "AA" and celebrates in the ring over the fallen Wyatt Family. RAW closes out with Cena telling Lesnar "I'm coming for you, you son of a bitch".
And that's your RAW recap for the week. Cena and Lesnar is a lock for Night of Champions. I'm predicting Cena wins back the WWE World Heavyweight Championship but gets his ass handed to him while doing it and then Seth Rollins cashes in money in the bank and walks out of Night of Champions the new champion.

Till next time, tap or snap.

Wrestling Lockup with Brandon 8.21.14: TNA Impact

Wrestling Lockup with Brandon is here with your TNA Impact recap, brought to you by Triple Threat Podcast. Before we get into the recap, there was some good news in the TNA camp announced today. Not only has TNA Impact officially moved to Wednesday nights but now it was announced that Spike TV is letting Impact finish out the rest of the year on their tv lineup. This should hopefully give TNA a little more time on getting a new deal done, whether with Spike TV or a new provider.

Alright on to Wednesday night's Impact. This week's TNA Impact served as Hardcore Justice, the made for TV pay per view. Hardcore Justice took place in TNA's apparent new home, New York City. Let's get the recap started.

- "Stairway To Janice Match": Bram vs Abyss: Abyss suplexes Bram on a ladder. Both men brawl on the floor where Bram gets some trash can shots in on Abyss. Abyss introduces barbed wire boards then tosses Bram into the ring steps, busting open the brit. Bram tries climbing the ladder but gets choke slammed off by Abyss. Abyss dumps out the thumbtacks and tosses Bram through a barbed wire board. Abyss climbs the ladder but gets dumped onto another barbed wire board. Bram climbs the ladder and has Janice. Abyss "blackhole slams" Bram on the thumbtacks and grabs Janice. Bram low blows Abyss, drives Janice into Abyss' gut and scores the pinfall.

- Backstage Segment: Ethan Carter III, Spud and Rhino are backstage. ECIII says being in jail gave him clarity and those responsible for his misery will be held accountable.

- Backstage Segment: Magnus and Bram are backstage. Magnus congratulates Bram and says that he will win the Steel Cage Match later and get back his TNA World Title.

- In Ring Segment: Ethan Carter III, Spud and Rhino come to the ring. ECIII says his Aunt Dixie going through a table was a vile act, rips on the New York fans for cheering it and says he has something to say to Kurt Angle who had them arrested last week. ECIII surprisingly thanks Kurt Angle and says it helped him see the light in the darkness. ECIII blaimes Rhino for Dixie going through the table. ECIII and Rhino begin to argue and Rhino tells ECIII to shove his money up his ass. ECIII attacks Rhino by slapping him in the face, throwing him into the guardrail a couple times then pounds on Rhino in the ring. Spud tries to step in but gets shoved away by ECIII. ECIII hits a running kneelift on Rhino before finally leaving.

- Backstage Segment: Samoa Joe cuts a promo. Joe says he and Low
Ki have a legacy written in blood and every wrestler that brought confidence to the ring still weren't able to beat Joe.

- Backstage Segment: The Hardy Boys cut a promo. The Hardy's say they're here to prove that they are the best team in the world and will lead the resurgence in the TNA tag team division.

- "TNA X Division Title Match": Samoa Joe (c) vs Low Ki: Another mat classic by these two as expected. Joe demonstrated his power and Low Ki demonstrated his quickness and kicks. Joe tried the "muscle buster" twice and Low Ki escaped both attempts. Joe blocks the "ki krusher" and plants Low Ki with a power bomb. Joe finally hits the "muscle buster" on the third attempt to score the pinfall. Joe retains the TNA X Division Title.

- Backstage Segment: The Hardys knock on Team 3D's door and are invited in after asking to talk.

- Backstage Segment: Mr. Anderson cuts a promo. Anderson blames Gunner for releasing Samuel Shaw from the Looney bin after he got rid of him. Anderson calls Gunner an idiot. Shaw arrives and starts brawling with Anderson.

- "I Quit Match": Mr. Anderson vs Samuel Shaw: Shaw tries choking Anderson with his belt but gets dumped on the ramp. Gunner comes out to watch as Shaw rams Anderson into the ring steps repeatedly. Shaw locks on a "camel clutch" but Anderson refuses to quit. Shaw crashes into the ring post shoulder first allowing Anderson to lock in an armbar. Shaw can't take the pain and quits the match. Anderson keeps the hold applied until Gunner gets in the ring and forces Anderson to release the hold.

- Backstage Segment: Team 3D announce that The Hardy's had a great idea and Team 3D are on their way to get the final piece in place.

- We see a video package played of James Storm torturing Sanada. Storm says he's weak and he will lead him to glory. Storm says that next week we will see the debut of The Great Sanada.

- "TNA Knockouts Title, Last Knockout Standing Match": Gail Kim (c) vs Angelina Love: Gail attacks Love on her way to the ring. Kim takes a cookie sheet to the head from Velvet Sky on the floor. Sky again interferes as Gail tried to DDT Love on the ring steps. Gail locks in the figure four around the ring post on Love and again Sky breaks it up. Love hits Gail with the "botox injection" that sent a chair into Gail's face. Love climbs the ropes, Gail shoves Sky into Love then dumps Sky to the floor. Gail samoan drops Love off the ropes and onto a chair. Love can't answer the 10 count. Gail Kim retains the TNA Knockouts Title.

- Backstage Segment: Kurt Angle announces that The Hardy's, Team 3D and The Wolves will have a three match series. First team that wins two matches wins the rivalry. The team that wind the first match will pick the stipulation for the next match.

- In Ring Segment: MVP, Bobby Lashley and Kenny King arrive. MVP brags about Lashley winning the World Title, Lashley beating Eric Young, Austin Aries and Jeff Hardy. MVP says they're not worried about who wins the cage match tonight.

- "Six Sides Of Steel, #1 Contender Match": Austin Aries vs James Storm vs Eric Young vs Bobby Roode vs Magnus vs Gunner: Magnus stops Storm from escaping. Gunner stops Aries from escaping. Roode ducks "eye of the storm" and locks Storm in a crossface. Aries locks Gunner in the "last chancery" and EY has Magnus in the "sharpshooter". Aries missile dropkicks Roode from the top of the cage but is planted with a spine buster. Storm hits "last call" on EY. Aries stops Gunner from escaping. The tower of doom spot comes into play leaving EY and Roode as the last two standing. Both men climb the cage and escape at the same time leaving an unclear winner and an unknown challenger for Lashley. Impact ends with confusion and referees arguing over who won the match.

And that does it for this week's special Hardcore Justice recap for TNA Impact. Until next week, tap or snap.

On The Mark: 2014 Ohio State Buckeyes Preview

Ohio State Football 2014 Preview
By @MarkW2112

Hey all! Along with my Browns React articles, I will also be writing about the Buckeyes during their 2014 season on TripleThreatPodcast!

Well, I pretty much had to throw out my original draft of the Buckeyes season after the devastating season ending shoulder injury to Braxton Miller. In his place for this season (and perhaps the next 2-3) is J.T. Barrett, a freshman from Wichita Falls, Texas. J.T. red shirted last year for the Buckeyes and did not play a down. During his senior year at Rider High School in 2012, J.T. passed for 784 yards and 5 touchdowns while rushing for 569 yards and 7 touchdowns before going down with an injury in the fifth game. In other words, J.T. has not taken a snap in a game for nearly 2 years. However, he has received glowing reviews from the Buckeyes staff and worked with the first team during spring games as well as training camp.

J.T. will have some weapons to throw to on offense, including Devon Smith and Jeff Heurman. Returning running back Ezekiel Elliot will provide some explosion in the backfield should help J.T. as well. That said, he will also have an offensive line that only has 1 returning starter from last year. With Barrett and so many new starters on the o-line, it’s going to be a very bumpy start to the Buckeyes season offensively.

Last year, the Buckeyes defense looked very shaky at times, especially during the Big 10 Championship and Orange Bowl, where Sammy Watkins had a field day against a very inexperienced secondary that did not have Bradley Roby. Returning defensive ends Joey Bosa (after his 2 game suspension) and Noah Spence should lead a very nasty front 4 but new starters abound throughout the defense. Middle linebacker Curtis Grant could be pushed out of playing time by the nations number 1 linebacker prospect Raekwon McMillian. Cornerback Doran Grant will lead the secondary, starting opposite new starter Gareon Conley, who was a red shirt freshman last year.

Biggest season question: How long will it take for Barrett and the offense to click starting? The Navy game next weekend in Baltimore may be a bigger challenge than originally thought.

Biggest season question, Part 2: Can the defense, with its own question marks, be good enough to carry some of the weight left by an offense that could have issues to start the season?

Prediction: The Ohio State Buckeyes, with all of the uncertainty, still have a chance of going 10-2 this year. The good news is that by the Michigan game in November, the offense might be on all cylinders to perhaps win the Big 10 East title. However, it won’t be easy for them to win the Big 10 Championship in Indianapolis. Urban Meyer gets the best out of players, especially on offense. Let’s see if he can work some magic with J.T. Barrett.

No matter what happens, it’s great to have Buckeyes football back!

Leadoff with Lee 8.21.14

-Tuesday afternoon Mike Pettine wasn't prepared to name a starter, but that all changed Wednesday morning when he told the world Brian Hoyer was going to be the Cleveland Browns starting quarterback. Johnny Manziel didn't seemed fazed that he was going to be a backup and simply said, "I'm not ready to be the Browns starting quarterback". In my opinion, it's either lack of leadership, lack of composure or lack of knowledge of the playbook. Either way, he needs to get mentally tough and grasp the playbook and study with Rex Grossman so he can wrap his head around this situation and earn his place.

-Defensive end Desmond Bryant may miss the season opener against Pittsburgh. Bryant had surgery on his wrist Monday and his status will be re-evaluated in 2 weeks to check how well it heals.

-Another Browns player was under the knife Monday in Buster Skrine. Skrine had a fractured thumb and will be re-evaluated weekly.

-Since we are talking surgeries, Nick "Brohio" Swisher had surgery on both knees yesterday to alleviate pain and hopefully prolong his career. Swisher, 33, is obviously out for the remainder if the season. Swisher hopes to make a strong comeback for the 2015 season. I'm sure he's not happy about his 2014 season, besides the paycheck he's getting.

-Dan Gilbert and the Cleveland Cavs will invest $23 million dollars into Quicken Loans Arena for the upcoming basketball season. Upgrades will include a new scoreboard, sound system and video production room. A new roof is also on deck for the 20 year old structure.

-The US Men's National Basketball team destroyed the Dominican Republic, 105-62 in FIBA exhibition play last night at Madison Square Garden in New York. Cleveland Cavaliers point guard Kyrie Irving shot 5 for 5 for 12 points and also had 5 assists. Irving got the start over Derrick Rose who was resting his knees. The current 16 man roster is expected to be reduced to 12 for World Cup play later today. Irving should be a lock to make the team.

-The Indians won their second straight game, besting the Minnesota Twins 5-0. Starter TJ House got the win for the Tribe, going 5.1 innings, giving up only four hits with all of them being singles. He also struck out five. Mike Aviles went 3 for 4, hitting a home run and knocking in 2, with a run scored and a steal. New Indians fan favorite Zach Walters also hit a homer for the Tribe. Every player in the Indians lineup had at least one hit, except Michael Brantley who went 0-4. The Indians improve to 64-61 and remain 4 1/2 games out from the last wildcard spot.

-Pittsburgh Steelers running backs Le'Veon Bell and LeGarrette Blount were pulled over early Wednesday morning and charged with possession of marijuana (20 grams to be exact), while Bell was also charged with DUI. It's going to be interesting to see how Roger Goodell handles this one.

On The Mark 8.20.14: Brian Hoyer Named Browns QB

Browns Name Brian Hoyer As Their Starting Quarterback

The Browns released a statement early this morning with the announcement that many saw coming; Brian Hoyer is the team’s starting quarterback for week 1 in Pittsburgh.

After both Hoyer and Manziel had no separation over the last 2 preseason games, head coach Mike Pettine and offensive coordinator Kyle Shanahan had no choice but to go with the 6 year veteran. Though Hoyer only started 3 games last year, he looked sharp in the first 2 and had looked good in the third game against the Bills before having a season ending knee injury on a tackle by Kiki Alonso.

Obviously many Browns fans (including myself) wanted Johnny to be lights out in these past 2 games. He wasn’t. He looked lost at times and lost his composure with a brief middle finger extended towards the Redskins bench.

I have no doubt we will see Johnny on the football field this season. My hope is that it’s in limited wildcat type formations, something Tim Tebow did in his rookie season with Denver. As for now, all hopes are on Brian Hoyer, the home town boy who’s dream has been to be the starter of his favorite football team, the Cleveland Browns. His turn starts now.

Leadoff with Lee 8.20.14

-Who is JT? Not the one who sings on Jay-Z's song "Holy Grail", in Justin Timberlake. But Ohio State might sip from the cup till it runneth over in JT Barrett. This redshirt freshman from Texas was the number one dual-threat quarterback in the class of 2013. This 4 start quarterback will be the head signal caller for the Bucks this season. Before his season ending injury in high school, he racked up 569 yards rushing, 784 yards passing and scored 13 touchdowns in 5 1/2 games for Rider high school. The consensus has been that Barrett is a cross between Kenny Guiton and Braxton Miller. Barrett's 40 time is in mid 4.6 second range. While he may not have a rocket arm like Miller, he can pick up the leadership role needed on this young team. Most fans are scared of his inexpirence at the college level, but remember, since he is a redshirt he already has one year of practice under his belt. It's going to be on the upperclassmen to help build his confidence up and rally behind someone who hasn't seen live game action literally since high school. Stay calm Buckeye fans, Urban Meyer knows what he is doing.

-Browns head coach Mike Pettine was not ready to announce who would be his starting quarterback at home versus the St. Louis Rams. Pettine simply stated, "I am not prepared to name a starter at this time". If I had to take a wild guess, Hoyer will start game 3 of the preseason this coming Saturday. But today and Thursdays practices will determine who the starter will be on this short week. Also I will predict if Hoyer gets the start Saturday, Manziel will start the last preseason game.

-Josh Gordon's appeal judgement should come down by Friday. Isn't this the end of the 1-3 week timeframe?

-Monday night's preseason game for the Browns against the Redskins was the second highest rated preseason game in ESPN history.

-ESPN and the Mid-American conference (MAC) agreed to a exclusive 13 year rights agreement that will end following the 2026-2027 season. The deal will include football, men's college basketball, Olympic sporting events and multiple mid-week college football games during the month of November.

-Over the weekend Tiger Woods pulled out of the Ryder cup and will shut it down until December to rehab his back. Tiger isn't expected to return to play until the first week of December when he'll play in his own tournament, the World Challenge at Isleworth, in Orlando Florida.

-After being down 5-0 at the end of the first, the Tribe rallied to a 7-5 win over the Minnesota Twins in Minneapolis. Indians starter Trevor Bauer got off to a rough start, pitching 4.2 innings and giving up 4 hits, 5 runs and earning 4 strikeouts. The Indians then used 7 different pitchers to close the deal with Kyle Crockett getting the win for the good guys, and Cody Allen getting his 16th save of the season. The series continues today at 8:05 in Minnesota.

Wrestling Lockup with Brandon 8.19.14: WWE Raw

Eat...Sleep...Conquer....CHAMPION!

Wrestling Lockup with Brandon is here, brought to you by Triple Threat Podcast. Last night on RAW began the "Era of The Beast" as the newly crowned WWE World Heavyweight Champion, Brock Lesnar's, run as champ began. Lesnar destroyed John Cena at SummerSlam with his UFC style ground and pound, 16 german suplexes and 2 "F-5's". What are we in for with Lesnar as the face of the company now? Will John Cena be the same after taking probably the worst beating of his life? Let's get this week's RAW recap started live from Las Vegas, Nevada.

- In Ring Promo: RAW kicked off with Daniel Bryan's music playing, however, no Daniel Bryan. It is instead Stephanie McMahon mocking the "Yes" chants with "Steph" chants. Stephanie talks about SummerSlam's success, being more popular on social media then Wrestlemania, Brock Lesnar getting a new world title awarded to him later and talks about Lesnar's brutal beating on John Cena. Steph calls Chris Jericho, Dean Ambrose and Brie Bella losers and thanks her husband Triple H, who isn't a cheater like Daniel Bryan. Steph next calls out Nikki Bella. Nikki Bella comes out to the ring to "You Sold Out" chants. Nikki says Brie never turned out to be the sister that Nikki hoped she'd be and talks about Daniel Bryan cheating on Brie. Nikki pretends to get emotional, says she's stressed out and says she's free now without Brie. Brie Bella arrives to "Yes" chants. Brie tells Nikki she loves her and forgives her for what she did to their family. Nikki slaps Brie to the mat and says she'll never forgive her. Brie leaves crying.

- Big Show and Mark Henry vs Harper and Rowan: Harper and Rowan double-team Henry. Big Show enters the ring and lands the knockout punch on both Wyatt's. Henry follows up with "The World's Strongest Slam" for the pinfall.

- Backstage Segment: Dolph Ziggler and Ric Flair are talking when The Miz interrupts. Miz says he's winning back the WWE I-C Title tonight because he's a Hollywood A-Lister. Ziggler says he's not an A-Lister he's an A-Hole.

- Backstage Promo: Seth Rollins cuts a promo and says he did exactly what he said he would in not running away and beating Dean Ambrose. Rollins says he's not just the future World Champion but the future of the WWE. Dean Ambrose appears and dumps a bucket of ice water over Rollins head and said it was for charity then beats the hell out of Rollins before WWE officials pull them apart.

- Backstage Segment: Triple H and Kane are talking when Seth Rollins interrupts, wanting to get rid of Dean Ambrose once and for all. Triple H gives Rollins a match tonight against Ambrose with the fans voting on the stipulation. Triple H says when Rollins takes out Ambrose his blood will be on his hands.

- Nattie Neidhart vs Paige: Paige says she loves A.J. Lee and dedicates this match to her. Match ends with A.J. skipping down to the ring for the distraction. Neidhart rolls Paige up for the pinfall. After the match A.J. takes a mic to the sound of "CM Punk" chants and says she loves and respects Paige and dedicates her whole life to her. A.J. gets in the ring to shake Paige's hand but Paige leaves not trusting A.J.

- In Ring Promo: Triple H and Stephanie McMahon announce the new champ. Brock Lesnar and Paul Heyman make their way to the ring for Lesnar's new world title presentation. The Authority present Lesnar with the new World Title and everyone poses for a photo-op. The fans chant "Thank You Lesnar" as Heyman takes the mic. Heyman says John Cena is not here tonight because he physically can not be here. Heyman says he respects Cena for the beating he took last night, says he'd love to make Cena a "Paul Heyman Guy" unfortunately in Brock's world, Cena is a nobody. Heyman continues to build up "The Beast" and calls it's basic Brock-a-nomics then repeats "Eat, Sleep, Suplex, Repeat a good 15 to 20 times.

- "WWE Intercontinental Championship Match": Dolph Ziggler (c) vs. The Miz: Ziggler hurts his knee during the match. Miz works on the leg and locks in the figure four. Ziggler escapes and rolls out to the floor in pain. Ziggler can't answer the 10 count as he's counted out. Miz, mad he won but didn't win back his title, attacks Ziggler after the match. Ziggler hits a "Zig Zag" out of nowhere and escapes still with a battered leg.

-Backstage Promo: Jack Swagger cuts a promo. Swagger says he loves America and how everyone unites when things are rough. Swagger says he's going to dust off his loss from last night and come back stronger because that is "We The People".

- Jack Swagger vs. Cesaro: Cesaro works on Swagger's ribs throughout the match. Swagger hits the "Swagger Bomb" but Cesaro kicks out. Swagger locks in the "Patriot Lock" however he's on the apron so he eventually has to break the hold. Cesaro hits "The Neutralizer" on Swagger and gets the pinfall. After the match Bo Dallas comes down with a mic. Dallas says Swagger let down American, lost his manager, lost his self respect and dignity but he can get it all back as long as he "Bo-Lieves".

- Backstage Promo: Chris Jericho cuts a promo. Says he's never faced anyone like Bray Wyatt, the WWE fans have Jericho's back and that is something Bray will never take away from Jericho.

- "Six Man Tag Match": Randy Orton, Curtis Axel and Ryback vs Roman Reigns, Sheamus and Rob Van Dam: Sheamus "Brogue Kicks" Ryback, Randy Orton "RKO's" Sheamus, RVD hits an enzuigiri on Orton which is followed up with a spear by Reigns. Axel sends Reigns into the ring post. Axel catches a heel kick then the "five star frog splash" from RVD for the pinfall.

- Backstage Segment: Ric Flair tries to talk to Randy Orton about Roman Reigns. Orton tells Flair to back off or he'll find out why he was called the legend killer.

- Backstage Promo: Bray Wyatt appears on the titantron. Says a pair of horses came for Chris Jericho last night at SummerSlam and the rider was Bray. He told Jericho it would happen cause he's a man of his word. Bray is the new face of salvation.

- The Usos vs Goldust and Stardust: Stardust scores the pinfall with a sunset flip.

- In Ring Promo: Rusev and Lana arrive. Lana says President Putin is proud of Rusev and having the Russian Flag raised in victory. Mark Henry interrupts and makes his way to the ring. Henry says he competed in the U.S. Olympics twice which were proud moments and never had a problem with people representing their home countries except for you two jackasses. Henry threatens to take Rusev to the Hall of Pain. Rusev and Henry go nose to nose. Rusev and Henry trade punches, Henry blocks Rusev's super kick and plants Rusev with the "World's Strongest Slam".

- Dean Ambrose vs Seth Rollins: The WWE fans vote for a "Falls Count Anywhere Match". Rollins and Ambrose rip into each other at the bell and trade back and forth blows. Both men end up in the crowd and brawl up to the stage. Ambrose counters a power bomb and suplexes Rollins on the stage. We're back in the ring where Ambrose slams Rollins on a chair and drives an elbow on Rollins off the ropes. Ambrose gets tossed into a chair wedged in the corner. Rollins unloads with kendo stick shots. Ambrose returns the favor with the kendo stick. Both men beat the hell out of each other with weapons and aerial moves and avoid each others finishers as Corporate Kane arrives. Ambrose suplexes Rollins through a table as Rollins was looking for the "Curb Stomp". Ambrose knocks Kane off the apron, tosses Rollins on the floor, then suicide dives onto both men. Ambrose hits "Dirty Deeds" but Kane pulls Ambrose out of the ring. Kane and Ambrose trade shots with the steps and announcers table playing parts in the chaos. Rollins ends up in the crowd where Ambrose hits a running splash off the announcers table on Rollins. Ambrose goes for "Dirty Deeds" on Rollins on the announcers table but gets choke slammed on the table by Kane. Rollins hits the "Curb Stomp" on Ambrose as Kane has a cinder block. Kane holds Ambrose as Rollins "Curb Stomp's" the cinder block on Ambrose's head. Ambrose is unconscious as the referee stops the match. RAW closes out with the medical staff working on Ambrose with Rollins standing on the announcers table celebrating.

And that closes out the RAW recap. Till next time, tap or snap.
