*** Smackdown Live ***

- Becky Lynch and Alexa Bliss Contract Signing: Daniel Bryan says this contract signing will be civil compared to past contract signings. Alexa says Becky doesn't fit the role of a champion, is a failure, and will always be known for not getting the job done. Alexa says she was born to be a champion while Becky was born a loser. Becky says she was born in Dublin, had a job that didn't pay well, learned to go out and achieve everything you want, she wanted to be champion and has poured her heart into getting the job done. Becky says this is something she's wanted and will rip Alexa's head off to keep it. Alexa calls Becky's speech inspirational, Becky is still destined for second place, Becky is a one hit wonder and Alexa was born to be a champion. Alexa drops Becky with a cheap shot and then signs the contract. Alexa throws the contract and the table at Becky. Becky finally turns the attack onto Alexa, chases her off and signs the contract to end the segment.

- Backstage, The Miz tells Daniel Bryan he has an issue with his WWE Intercontinental Championship match against Dolph Ziggler tonight. Bryan says he'll be happy to cancel it, but he'll also terminate Miz's contract, because when Miz signed his new contract he missed the part that says "no title defense no job". Bryan asks if this will be a problem. Miz says no and walks away.

- "#1 Contenders Match": The Usos vs. American Alpha: The match closes out with Jey tossing Gable outside. Jordan counters a Jey Uso Kick and hits an exploder suplex. Gable meanwhile has problems with his leg, so Jordan doesn't tag out. Jey chop blocks Gable and then hit double Uso Kicks on Jordan. Jey hits the Uso Splash off the top rope on Jordan and scores the pinfall.
Winners: The Usos, by pinfall, to become #1 contenders.

- Backstage, Heath Slater says he and Rhyno beat The Usos once, they'll do it again. The Usos interrupt and demand they just hand over the titles now or they'll take out Slater's knee. The Usos walk out as Rhyno steps up.

- Baron Corbin vs. Apollo Crews: The match closes out with Corbin drop kicking Crews outside. Corbin unloads forearms and tosses Crews back into the ring. Corbin unloads a series of stomps on Crews and then hits End Of Days for the pinfall. After the match, Corbin sends a warning to Jack Swagger and says he should've stayed on RAW.
Winner: Baron Corbin, by pinfall.

- Backstage, Nikki Bella and Naomi take verbal shots at Nattie Neidhart and Carmella. They say Nattie lost her glow and is corrupt and Carmella is a knock off Nikki Bella wannabe.

- Backstage, Dolph Ziggler says that The Miz may be obnoxious, a cheater and a coward, but he is also the champion. Ziggler is desperate to prove he belongs and will shut up The Miz.

- "WWE Intercontinental Championship Match": The Miz (c) vs. Dolph Ziggler: The match closes out with Miz blocking the Zig Zag as Maryse gets on the apron.  Before Maryse can interfere, the referee ejects Marsye from ringside. Ziggler gets a near fall Zig Zag and Miz rolls outside. Miz tries to leave, but Ziggler attacks Miz from behind and sends him into the steel steps. Miz grabs his IC Title and the referee grabs it away from Miz. While the referee is distracted, Miz sprays Maryse's perfume into Ziggler's eyes, hits the Skull Crushing Finale and scores the pinfall.
Winner: The Miz, by pinfall, to retain the WWE Intercontinental Championship.

- Randy Orton vs. Erick Rowan: The match closes out with Rowan sending Orton into the ring steps repeatedly. Orton lands a kick to the gut and the hanging DDT. Orton hits the RKO on Rowan and scores the pinfall. After the match, the lights go out and come back on with Orton alone in the ring with a lamb mask on the mat. Bray Wyatt appears on the TitanTron and says that Orton is still just a man, a man who can die at any given moment and Bray is a God, a God can never die
Winner: Randy Orton, by pinfall.

- Naomi and Nikki Bella vs. Carmella and Nattie Neidhart: The match closes out with Nattie nailing a big forearm on Nikki and then Carmella drags Nikki outside of the ring. Carmella sends Nikki back first into the barricade and gets her team DQ'ed. After the match, Naomi makes the save and plants a boot on Nattie.
Winners: Naomi and Nikki Bella, by DQ.

- Backstage, AJ Styles doesn't understand why he has to defend his WWE World Heavyweight Championship in a triple threat match when he's already beaten John Cena and Dean Ambrose. Styles is going to sit back and watch Cena and Ambrose destroy each other tonight.

- John Cena vs. Dean Ambrose: The match closes out with Cena catching an Ambrose crossbody and hitting the AA for a near fall. Cena sets Ambrose up for another AA, but Ambrose counters and hits Dirty Deeds for a near fall. Cena and Ambrose trade punches until Ambrose goes for the Lunatic Lariat. Cena ducks it and sets Ambrose up for another AA.
Ambrose counters out, rolls Cena up and scores the pinfall. After the match, AJ Styles hits the ring and drops Cena with the Phenomenal Forearm off the barricade. Styles plants a Pele Kick on Ambrose and looks to be in control. Daniel Bryan arrives and announces that since WWE No Mercy is a little ways away yet, then next week AJ Styles will defend the WWE World Heavyweight Championship against Dean Ambrose. Styles is livid and ends up getting laid out by an Ambrose Dirty Deeds to end the show.
Winner: Dean Ambrose, by pinfall.
