This week's NXT took place at Full Sail University in Orlando, Florida. The Second Annual Dusty Rhodes Tag Team Tournament Classic continued this week with more first round matches. The faction known as Sanity arrived and revealed themselves. Billy Kay battled Liv Morgan one on one. Former NXT World Tag Team Champions Wesley Blake and Buddy Murphy go one on one. Samoa Joe calls out NXT GM William Regal.

- "Dusty Rhodes Tag Team Tournament Classic Match": Bobby Roode and Tye Dillinger vs. Sanity (Alexander Wolfe and Sawyer Fulton): The match closes out with Dillinger getting dominated by Wolfe and Fulton, forcing Roode to get irritated and ends up walking out on Dillinger. Wolfe and Fulton hit a double team suplex finisher on Dillinger and score the pinfall. After the match, the masked man and woman in Sanity's corner attack Dillinger and beat him down. They reveal themselves as Nikki Cross and former TNA Original Eric Young.Winners: Sanity, by pinfall, to advance to the Final Eight. - Backstage, Billie Kay and Peyton Royce make fun of Liv Morgan who got dominated by Asuka and lost last week.
- Backstage, Bobby Roode is questioned about walking out on Tye Dillinger. Roode says Dillinger claimed to be hurt and that's his problem.
- Billie Kay vs. Liv Morgan: The match closes out with Billie planting Liv with a fireman's carry after countering a headlock. Liv hits a drop kick on Billie and then runs the ropes. Peyton Royce, who was at ringside, reaches in and grabs Liv's leg, distracting her. Billie nails a boot on Liv during the distraction and scores the pinfall.Winner: Billie Kay, by pinfall. - "Dusty Rhodes Tag Team Tournament Classic Match": TM-61 (Nick Miller and Shane Thorne) vs. Tino Sabbatelli and Riddick Moss: The match closes out with Miller sending Sabbatelli off the apron with a forearm and then dropping Moss with a suplex for a near fall. Sabbatelli attacks Thorne on his side of the ring and then takes the tag from Moss. Sabbatelli gets tossed into the corner by Miller and Thorne tags in. Thorne and Miller hit their finisher called Thunder Valley on Sabbatelli and score the pinfall.
Winners: TM-61, by pinfall, to advance to the Final Eight. - Wesley Blake vs. Buddy Murphy: The match closes out with Samoa Joe hitting the ring and disrupting the match. Joe attacks Murphy and sends him into the steel steps. Joe catches Blake charging and slams him on the floor. Joe gets in the ring with a microphone and takes over the show.
Winner: No Contest- Samoa Joe Promo: Joe demands NXT GM William Regal to either bring him Shinsuke Nakamura or return him his NXT World Championship. Nakamura arrives with a neck brace on. Nakamura takes off the neck brace, charges the ring and brawls with Joe. NXT Security hit the ring and try to separate both men. Joe is dragged up the ramp as Nakamura throws punches at security. Nakamura charges up the ramp past security and brawls with Joe on the ramp. Nakamura gets dragged backstage by security, but comes back again and lays out a guard with the Kinshasa. Joe and Nakamura brawl back into the ring where Nakamura finally lays out Joe with the Kinshasa to end the show.
