By @B_Rock1978

It's the Weekend 3 Count, brought to you by Triple Threat CLE. The W3C, brings you news and rumors going on around the wrestling world. Whether it's WWE, NXT, TNA, GFW, ROH, Lucha Underground or the independent wrestling scene, I'll talk about it.

*** WWE and NXT News ***

- This week on RAW, Seth Rollins vs. John Cena for the WWE World Heavyweight and United States Championship was officially announced for this year's SummerSlam.

- We found out this past week on RAW that Charlotte, Paige and Becky Lynch's stable would be called the Submission Sorority. What WWE didn't realize was when the name was put in the search box on Google, it took you straight to XXX porn sites with the same name. WWE have apologized for the mix up and have changed their name to PCB (PaigeCharlotteBecky).

- "Stone Cold" Steve Austin had another edition of his podcast after RAW went off the air this past Monday. On Austin's show he interviewed 2-Time WWE Divas Champion and 1-Time NXT Women's Champion, Paige. - GFW announcer Chael Sonnen recently stated that "Rowdy" Roddy Piper was originally supposed to do a Piper's Pit segment for GFW and had plans to pass the show onto Sonnen. Whether this was true or not about Piper was never announced. If anything Sonnen may have just been given his own talk show segment and not the actual Piper's Pit show.

*** ROH News ***

- This week on Ring Of Honor: For the second week in a row, Destination America, have moved ROH to the 11pm time slot. Could this be a bad sign for ROH's future with the network?

- The Young Bucks defeated Hanson and Raymond Rowe. One point in the match, A.J. Styles, came to the ring to check on The Bucks and ended up involved in the match, making it a 3 on 2 Handicap Match. Styles hit Bloody Sunday and the Styles Clash on Rowe for the win.

*** Other Wrestling News ***

- WWE vs. UFC: Probably one of the biggest stories that surfaced last weekend during UFC190 was remarks that UFC president Dana White made on Twitter. A fan on Twitter jokingly told White how WWE's pay per view's are only $9.99 on the WWE Network, which is way better then the $60 price tag for a UFC pay per view. White responded by saying it was because WWE was "fake", that's why their pay per views cost that little. The wrestling world went into an uproar as fans and wrestlers which included Austin Aries, Taz, Seth Rollins, Sheamus, Bully Ray, Eric Young, Bull Dempsey, Joey Styles and Jeremy Borash all tweeted that White should spend a day in the wrestlers shoes and see just how "fake" wrestling is.

- Taz gave his opinions about Dana White on his Human Podcast Machine this week. Taz wasn't too happy.

- Ronda Rousey dedicated her victory at UFC190 to the late great "Rowdy" Roddy Piper.

- Ronda Rousey was recently approached by Playboy to do a photo shoot. Sadly she turned Playboy down and stated "No one is going to see my cash and prizes for $5".

- WWE is still looking at a possibility of including Ronda Rousey in their Wrestlemania 32 plans. The only issue is Dana White approving it. Judging by Dana's comments about wrestling being "fake", than it shouldn't be a problem and no worries of Rousey getting injured. Right Dana? Right Dana?

- Hulk Hogan was in Chicago this past week at a convention for a meet and greet. Hogan is still getting the support from his fan base, after getting fired from WWE, when a recording of him making racial slurs surfaced. Hogan posted pictures of himself with former World Boxing Champion Mike Tyson on his Facebook page.

- As if things couldn't get any worse for  the Hulkster, Hogan may be facing jail time soon. The National Enquirer is reporting that due to making conflicting statements to the FBI and the lawyers for Gawker.com, who Hogan is suing, it’s possible that Hogan could serve jail time for lying under oath. The court transcripts have stated that Hogan told different stories to the respective entities.

- Former TNA X-Division and ECW World Champion Jerry Lynn recently had neck surgery. Lynn is replacing three degenerating discs in his neck, fusing his vertebrae and removing bone spurs that are running up and down his neck in the surgery. Jerry Lynn had memorable feuds in ECW against Rob Van Dam and was one of the original pioneers in the TNA X-Division in its early stages. There has been a GoFundMe page set up for Jerry if you'd like to help out.

- Former TNA commentator Mike Tenay announced on Taz's "Human Podcast Machine" that he will have a podcast on the Play.it platform entitled "Professor Vegas". Tenay will discuss sports betting, fantasy sports and interview men and women involved in the sports betting world, ranging from bookers, sports writers and sports betters. Tenay is a highly recommended expert in sports betting, stating he had a Vegas bookers job for ten years before joining WCW in the 90's.

- Former WWE World Heavyweight Champion Rey Mysterio was interviewed recently. Mysterio talked WWE, if he'd ever return and answered a few other questions. You can read the full interview HERE.

- Actor Stephen Amell from the CW's Arrow TV show will be on RAW this week. Amell is planning to finally confront Stardust.

*** Piper's Corner ***

- With the passing of a true WWE icon this week I thought I'd give a small tribute to WWE Hall of Famer, "Rowdy" Roddy Piper.

- RAW had a nice tribute to Hot Rod to kick off the show last Monday. You can view that here:

- Piper was a 2-Time NWA/WCW Television Champion, 3-Time NWA/WCW United States Champion, 1-Time WWE Intercontinental Champion, 1-Time WWE World Tag Team Champion and a WWE Hall of Famer. Piper also won many titles throughout the independent wrestling organizations coming up in the business.

- Piper was known for his talk show segment throughout the wrestling world called Piper's Pit. His most famous segment was with Jimmy "SuperFly" Snuka, when he smacked Snuka in the head with a coconut.

- My Top 5 "Rowdy" Roddy Piper Matches:

#1: WWE Intercontinental Championship Match: Roddy Piper (c) vs. Bret Hart, Wrestlemania 8.

#2: Dog Collar Match: Roddy Piper vs. Greg Valentine, Starrcade 1983.

#3: Roddy Piper vs. Adrian Adonis, Wrestlemania 3.

#4: Hollywood Backlot Brawl Match: Roddy Piper vs. Goldust, Wrestlemania 12.

#5: Roddy Piper vs. "Hollywood" Hulk Hogan, Starrcade 1996.

Rest in Peace Hot Rod and give Heaven's wrestling organization as much hell as possible!

And that's your Weekend 3 Count. Join me next Sunday afternoon for more news and rumors around the wrestling world.
