Wrestling Lockup with Brandon, brought to you by Triple Threat CLE. It's the RAW recap from last night's show. RAW took place live last night in Newark, New Jersey. Last week, it appeared that Randy Orton had rejoined The Authority. Bad News Barrett's WWE Intercontinental Championship is still in Dean Ambrose's possession. The Ascension took their first pinfall loss on the main roster. Curtis Axel has started the #Axelmania clock. More face to face encounters, building the Roman Reigns vs. Brock Lesnar match and the John Cena vs. Rusev match. Let's get to last nights recap.
- In Ring Segment with Seth Rollins: Rollins is in the ring and says he knows Jon Stewart of The Daily Show is coming to RAW to confront Rollins, but Stewart should just turn his limo around and go home. Rollins says he'll prove he can do Stewart's job better, later tonight. Roman Reigns' music hits and Reigns comes to the ring. Reigns says he's here just to hear the fans chant that Rollins sucks. Rollins praises himself and tells Reigns he'll never beat Brock Lesnar. Rollins shoves Reigns and Reigns fires back with a punch. Rollins runs for his life, as Reigns "Superman Punches" Noble and spears Mercury. Reigns stares down Rollins with a boot on Rollins' Money In The Bank briefcase to end the segment.
- Backstage, Seth Rollins yells at Mercury and Noble for being screw ups. Randy Orton appears and says what just happened was embarrassing. Orton says he believes in Rollins and that Rollins should go to The Authority and ask for a match with Roman Reigns. Rollins appreciates the advice but says he's got this on his own.
- Dean Ambrose vs. Bad News Barrett: R-Truth is on commentary. Barrett takes down Ambrose and gets a near fall. Ambrose mat wrestles, then goes to the top rope. Barrett crotches Ambrose on the ropes and gets a near fall. Barrett hits knees and a boot and then talks trash to Truth. Barrett shoves Truth, then gets hit with an Ambrose suicide dive. Ambrose and Barrett are back in the ring, as Truth grabs the Intercontinental Championship. Barrett hits "Winds of Change" and gets a near fall. Luke Harper shows up and demands the I-C Title be given to him. Truth gives it to Harper and Harper leaves with it. Barrett yells at Harper to come back, then gets planted with "Dirty Deeds" by Ambrose. Ambrose covers and scores the pinfall. After the match, Ambrose is looking for the I-C Title, not seeing Harper leave with it.
- Backstage, Damien Sandow and The Miz watch the commercial they filmed, that Miz did voice over for. Miz, apparently didn't realize it was for a commercial for erectile dysfunction. Everyone laughs at Miz, pissing Miz off. Miz yells at Sandow for humiliating him and slaps Sandow. Sandow gets in Miz's face, but backs down, after Miz reminds Sandow where he was before he met Miz. Sandow apologizes to Miz.
- In Ring Segment with Bray Wyatt: Wyatt is on stage with a casket. Wyatt is obsessed with fire, would walk through hell to find Undertaker, Undertaker doesn't know who he's dealing with and Undertaker will burn at Wrestlemania. Bray douses the casket with lighter fluid and sets it ablaze.
- "Six Person Tag Team Match": Nattie Neidhart, Cesaro and Tyson Kidd vs. Naomi and The Usos: Kidd and Cesaro double team Jey for a two count. Jey with a samoan drop on Cesaro, but Cesaro dodges the butt splash. Naomi plants a kick on Nattie for a two count. Mat wrestling by the ladies and Naomi gets a rollup for a two count. Kidd and Jimmy are tagged in. Kidd counters a super kick and hits one of his own on Jimmy. Jimmy is back on offense and unloads on Kidd. Kidd tags in Nattie, who is still hurting from being in earlier. Nattie yells at Kidd for tagging her in. Naomi sneaks in, rolls up Nattie and scores the pinfall. After the match, Nattie yells at Kidd some more and Kidd hugs Nattie.
- In Ring Segment with John Cena: Cena says if he can't face and beat Rusev at Wrestlemania, than it's not ment to be. Cena announces he's going to be in the Andre The Giant Memorial Battle Royal. Stephanie McMahon interrupts and comes to the ring. Stephanie says Cena just can't do whatever he wants and says he will not be in the battle royal. Stephanie shows a picture of her at 8 years old with Andre The Giant and Cena says she doesn't look like a bitch in the picture. Stephanie says that maybe this year Cena can sit out Wrestlemania and not compete, because no one wants to see him. Curtis Axel's music hits and out comes Axel. It's now been 35 days and Axel still wasn't eliminated from the Royal Rumble, Axelmania is running wild, praises Stephanie, offers to fight Rusev and be in the battle royal. Stephanie thanks Axel and says his star is on the rise. Stephanie then says the only way John Cena can fight Rusev is if Rusev agrees to it. Stephanie makes a match between Axel and Cena. Axel says Axelmania will run wild on Cena. Cena threatens Axel that he will not walk out of the ring if he agrees to their match. Axel wants Cena and we have an impromptu match.
Axel yells about Axelmania as Cena hits a clothesline. Axel "Hulks Up" and points at the Wrestlemania sign. Cena hits the "AA" on Axel and applies the "STF" submission. Axel taps out. After the match, Rusev and Lana come out. Lana congragulates Cena on his win. Rusev says he made his decision about fighting Cena at Wrestlemania and the answer is still NO. The Russian Flag drops behind Cena and Rusev's music plays to end the segment.
- In Ring Segment with Triple H: Triple H talks about the opportunity Vince McMahon gave him 20 years ago and how Triple H is upset that Sting turned down the opportunity Triple H gave him at Fast Lane. Triple H asks Booker T. his opinion on the subject. Booker T. says he probably would've tried to roadblock Sting from getting in the WWE, like Triple H did all those years. Booker T. then praises Sting, says Triple H can't control Sting, Sting is here and Triple H has to deal with him at Wrestlemania. Triple H fires Booker T. then rehires him back just to prove that he calls all the shots and is the one in control. Triple H promises he will end Sting and what is left of WCW at Wrestlemania.
- "WWE Divas Championship Match": Nikki Bella (c) vs. Paige: Paige gets an early near fall. Paige goes for the "PTO" submission but Nikki escapes. "Alabama Slam" by Nikki for a two count. Nikki hits a spine buster for a two count. Paige unloads clotheslines and lands a drop kick for a near fall. Paige goes for the "PTO" submission, but Brie Bella is on the apron. Paige sends Brie flying, then reapplies the "PTO" submission. Brie interferes and gets Nikki DQ'ed. Nikki retains the WWE Divas Championship. After the match, The Bellas beat down Paige when..........A.J. Lee's music hits and out comes the returning A.J. Lee. A.J. hits the ring and helps Paige clear out The Bellas from the ring.
- Backstage, A.J. Lee says she's been watching The Bellas bully the Divas Division and came back to give other Divas the chance.
- The Daily Show with Seth Rollins: Rollins rips the New Jersey fans and shows the clip of him invading The Daily Show with Jon Stewart. Rollins says if Stewart shows up, Rollins would make him retire early. Jon Stewart makes his way to the ring. Rollins says he's going to prove he can do this job better. Stewart says Rollins is proving to everyone that he can't read and grabs Rollins' cheat sheet. Stewart says Rollins looks like a swat team stripper with lady gaga hair and doesn't fear the "Curb Stomp", because that's how they greet each other in Jersey. Stewart calls Mercury and Noble The Olsen Twins, says all that Rollins has is his briefcase cause he's not even in the main event at Wrestlemania. Rollins cuts off Stewart and grabs him by his collar. Randy Orton's music hits and out comes Orton. Stewart low blows Rollins and escapes and celebrates with Orton.
- Backstage, Jon Stewart says he learned the low blow at wrestling school, then hurries off, leaving through the back.
- Luke Harper vs. Daniel Bryan: Luke Harper comes to the ring, now with the I-C Title. Harper unloads early and Bryan hits corner drop kicks. Bryan lands stiff kicks on Harper. Harper drops Bryan face first on the turn buckle. Harper with a german suplex for a near fall. Bryan eventually locks in the "Yes Lock" submission and makes Harper tap out. After the match, Bad News Barrett hits the ring and grabs his stolen I-C Title. Dean Ambrose hits the ring and brawls with Barrett. Ambrose lays out Barrett with a clothesline and grabs the I-C Title. Harper hits a big boot on Ambrose. R-Truth appears and grabs the I-C Title and Harper tells him to hand it over. Harper lays out Truth with a clothesline and leaves with the I-C Title. Dolph Ziggler appears on the stage, super kicks Harper and grabs the I-C Title. Ziggler celebrates with the I-C Title as Bryan starts the "Yes Movement" chants.
- Alundra Blayze/Madusa is officially announced as the newest 2015 WWE Hall of Fame inductee.
- Backstage, Randy Orton tells Seth Rollins' he should thank Orton for helping Rollins keep his job by not beating up Jon Stewart. Orton offers to go to the ring with Rollins for his match but Kane and Big Show step in and say they will accompany Rollins.
- In Ring Segment with Paul Heyman: Says Brock Lesnar will be at Wrestlemania 31, will be anywhere he wants before and after Wrestlemania 31 and will be the WWE World Heavyweight Champion because he'll be champion as long as he wants. Heyman finishes out the segment by ripping on Roman Reigns and claiming that Lesnar just might "Ronda Rousey" Reigns at Wrestlemania.
- Roman Reigns vs. Seth Rollins: Reigns owns Rollins early with punches, kicks, an atomic drop and mat wrestling. Rollins hits a drop kick then sends Reigns to the floor. Rollins distracts the referee and The Stooges get some shots in on Reigns. Reigns fights back and takes out The Stooges and Rollins as Big Show yells for Randy Orton to come out and help. Orton comes out and watches the action. Rollins counters the samoan drop and goes to work on Reigns with mat wrestling. Reigns hits a clothesline, corner blows and a side slam for a near fall. Rollins near falls Reigns with a rollup as The Stooges run distraction. Reigns takes out Noble, allowing Rollins to land a kick on Reigns for another near fall. Reigns catches Rollins coming off the top rope and gets a near fall. Reigns plants Rollins with a power bomb for another near fall. Rollins gets sent to the floor where Big Show helps Rollins up. Reigns takes out Show, leaping off the apron. The referee is distracted, allowing Kane to hit Reigns with a steel chair. Rollins gets a near fall after the chair shot. Reigns takes out Show and Kane with "Superman Punches" but gets his ankle grabbed by Orton. Rollins rolls Reigns up on the distraction and scores the pinfall.
Orton walks past The Authority and Show asks where he's going. Reigns takes out Kane, Rollins and The Stooges. Reigns takes out Show and spears Kane. Show gets in a shot on Reigns, but Reigns hits a "Superman Punch" and a spear on Show. Reigns then spears Rollins in mid-air as Rollins came off the top rope. RAW closes out with Reigns standing tall.
