Wrestling Lockup with Brandon 3.20.15: #SmackDown & #NXT Recap

Wrestling Lockup with Brandon, brought to you by Triple Threat CLE.  It's this week's NXT and Smackdown recaps for the week.

*** NXT ***

- This week, NXT, was filmed in Columbus, Ohio. NXT has recently started to tour the brand across the country, getting the NXT word out. #NXTColumbus

- Tyler Breeze vs. Kalisto: Kalisto hits a handspring kick on Breeze, than goes for "Salida Del Sol". Breeze counters the finisher and lays out Kalisto with the "Beauty Shot". Breeze covers Kalisto and scores the pinfall.

- Backstage, Alexa Bliss is in her home town of Columbus and will show NXT Women's Champion, Sasha Banks, what she's capable of tonight.

- Backstage, Finn Balor and Alex Riley have a chat. Balor will be scouting tonight, for Balor's match against Kevin Owens next week. Riley says he's humiliating Owens tonight and there will be no tomorrow for Owens. Balor reminds Riley about what Owens did to Sami Zayn and Adrian Neville.

- In Ring Promo With Enzo Amore, Big Cass and Carmella: How you doin? Cass tells Wesley Blake that they like to pump fists, but Blake needs to pump his brakes cause he's about to hit a roadblock. Enzo tells Blake and Buddy Murphy to skedaddle while they still have the tag titles. Enzo and Cass predict they are the next NXT World Tag Team Champions.

- Wesley Blake (w/Buddy Murphy) vs. Big Cass (w/Enzo Amore and Carmella): Cass goes for the "Soft Elbow", but Murphy gets on the apron. Carmella gets on the apron, next, as Cass hits a running boot on Murphy. Murphy flies off the apron, as does Carmella, from the boot impact. Cass is distracted, as Blake scores a rollup pinfall on Cass.

- Alexa Bliss vs. Sasha Banks: Bliss and Banks end up on the floor. Banks sends Bliss into the apron. Bliss sends Banks into the ring post. Bliss gets back in the ring and wins by countout, as Banks fails to make it back in the ring.

- Backstage, Kevin Owens, says he'll make Alex Riley wish he stayed as a commentator and can't wait to take out Finn Balor, next week.

- Backstage, Alexa Bliss, is happy she won in her hometown and will prove who's boss. Sasha Banks says she's not the boss cause she didn't pin Banks. NXT GM William Regal, announces Banks vs. Bliss next week for the NXT Women's Championship.

- Kevin Owens vs. Alex Riley: Owens hits three senton splashes, sends Riley into the barricade, slams Riley against the barricade and finishes Riley off with a pop-up power bomb, to score the pinfall.

- After the match: Owens goes for the apron power bomb on Riley, but Finn Balor hits the ring. Balor hits a forearm, sends Owens into the steel steps, then drop kicks Owens. Balor climbs the ropes, but Owens escapes, grabs his belt and kicks Riley on his way out as NXT closes out.

*** Smackdown ***

- This week's Smackdown took place in Kansas City, Missouri.

- In Ring Segment With Roman Reigns: Reigns is out and looks to comment on Brock Lesnar and Paul Heyman, but gets interrupted by Mark Henry. Henry predicts that Reigns WILL beat Lesnar at Wrestlemania and shakes Reigns' hand. Seth Rollins and Kane interrupt next. Rollins predicts anything can happen at Wrestlemania and holds up his money in the bank briefcase. Rollins says he made sure Randy Orton couldn't be here tonight, so Rollins and Kane will face Reigns and Henry.

- Brie Bella (w/Nikki Bella) vs. Paige (w/A.J. Lee): Brie hits the running knee on Paige. Brie goes for a rollup on Paige, but Paige rolls through and rolls up Brie to score the pinfall.

*** Gauntlet Match ***

- "Match #1": Dean Ambrose vs. Stardust: Ambrose kicks out of the "Disaster Kick". Ambrose counters a sunset flip and scores the pinfall on Stardust.

- After the match: Stardust attacks Ambrose and sends him shoulder first into the ring post.

- "Match #2": Dean Ambrose vs. R-Truth: Truth makes the save for Ambrose, but gets distracted by Stardust. Ambrose hits "Dirty Deeds" on Truth and scores the pinfall.

- "Match #3": Dean Ambrose vs. Luke Harper: Harper hits the clothesline and a sit down power bomb on Ambrose and scores the pinfall. Harper spent part of the match working on Ambrose's injured shoulder.

- "Match #4": Luke Harper vs. Daniel Bryan: Harper goes for another power bomb, but Bryan counters out and locks in the "Yes Lock". Harper eventually taps out. Bryan took a sick suplex by Harper, right on his surgically repaired neck, one point in the match.

- "Match #5": Daniel Bryan vs. Dolph Ziggler: Ziggler countered the running knee with a "Famasser". Ziggler kicks out of a backslide, hits the "Zig Zag" on Bryan and scores the pinfall. Ziggler wins the gauntlet.

- After the match: Bad News Barrett cuts a promo on Bryan and Ziggler, than lays them both out with the "Bullhammer".

- "6 Person Tag Team Match": Tyson Kidd, Cesaro and Nattie Neidhart vs. Los Matadores and El Torito: El Torito flies off the top rope, but Nattie catches him and plants him with a power bomb. Nattie covers and scores the pinfall.

- Roman Reigns and Mark Henry vs. Seth Rollins and Kane: Before the match even starts, Henry is shown backstage laid out. Reigns goes it alone. Reigns beats the odds, hits the "Superman Punch" and the spear on Kane. Reigns covers Kane and scores the pinfall.

- After the match: Reigns shoves Seth Rollins' security guards out of the way (who are protecting Rollins from any Randy Orton attacks). Orton's music hits and the guards get ready. Orton leaps the barricade by the commentary table and attacks Rollins in the ring. Orton DDT's two security guards and hits a power slam on Rollins. Rollins, escapes and runs for his life as Orton takes out Mercury and Noble with the "RKO" to end the show.
