Wrestling Lockup with Brandon, brought to you by Triple Threat Podcast, returns with the TNA recap for the week. TNA Impact was taped in New York City this week. Which has been a staple for TNA the past couple months. The New York fans bring their A game every week and really make Impact a great experience.
- In Ring Segment: TNA World Champion, Bobby Lashley, MVP and Kenny King kick off Impact by gracing us with their presence. MVP grabs a mic and brags about Lashley. MVP says that not only is Lashley the TNA World Champion but soon he will be the MMA Bellator Champion. MVP claims that there isn't a single person in the building or even on the planet that can beat Lashley. Samoa Joe hits the ring with mic in hand and disagrees with MVP. Joe tells Lashley to put the belt aside cause this isn't what this is about. Joe calls MVP nothing but a hype man and challenges Lashley to see who the toughest is tonight. King runs his mouth to Joe and Joe pops him in the jaw. A brawl breaks out with Joe clearing the ring of the trio.
- "TNA Knockouts Title Match": Gail Kim (c) vs Taryn Terrell: Kim hits a neckbreaker on Terrell right on the ring steps that looked brutal. Kim hits "Eat Defeat" on Terrell but Terrell somehow kicked out at two and a half. Kim goes for another "Eat Defeat" but Terrell blocks it into a stunner. Terrell climbs the ropes and crossbody blocks Kim. Kim rolls through and cradles Terrell for the pinfall. Gail Kim retains the TNA Knockouts Title. After the match The girls shake hands and hug when suddenly a new knockout by the name of Havok arrives. Havok stares down both girls and takes them both out with a clothesline, choke slams Kim and takes both girls out with an "Air Raid Crash".
- Backstage Segment: MVP finds Eric Young in the back and tries to get EY to turn on Bobby Roode. MVP reminds EY that EY was once Roode's servant in order to keep his job in the past. EY says all of that is forgotten and he trusts Roode.
- In Ring Segment: Ethan Carter III and Rockstar Spud arrive in the ring. ECIII says he is sick of the fans still laughing at his Aunt Dixie Carter for being put through a table because she is a saint. ECIII says he's going to continue to attack Rhino until Bully Ray is terminated like he demands. ECIII demands respect because he's earned it. Rhino hops the ring barrier and jumps ECIII from behind. Spud pulls ECIII to safety as Rhino demands a match with ECIII tonight. ECIII says he's got a match but its against Spud.
- Backstage Segment: Gunner finds Samuel Shaw and wants to talk about last week. Shaw apologizes and says he just wanted to see what it was like to be a hero like Gunner. Gunner accepts the apology and tells Shaw to keep his mind on the match tonight. Brittany was in the background, watching and listening during the segment.
- Gunner and Samuel Shaw vs Magnus and Bram: Magnus clips Gunner's leg allowing Bram to roll Gunner up for the pinfall. After the match Shaw yells at Magnus, Bram and even the referee until Gunner calms him down.
- Backstage Segment: MVP finds Bobby Roode backstage and tells Roode that Eric Young hasn't forgotten about that time when Roode used Young to be his personal servant.
- "#1 Contender's Match for the TNA World Title": Bobby Roode vs Eric Young: EY hits the top rope elbowdrop and then goes for the piledriver. Roode backdrops EY then they both trade pinfall attempts. Roode catches EY and drops him with the "Roode Bomb" to score the pinfall. After the match Roode and EY shake hands and hug, showing how much respect the two have for each other.
- Backstage Segment: Bobby Roode says he's excited to be finally getting another TNA World Title shot. TNA World Champion, Bobby Lashley appears. Roode and Lashley stare each other down.
- Backstage Segment: Team 3D announce a "Tables Match" for their next match against The Hardy Boys and The Wolves. Bully says TNA tag team wrestling is back in TNA and Team 3D is adding another tag team championship to their resume.
- "#1 Contender's Match for the X-Division Title": Tigre Uno vs Crazy Steve vs Manik vs Homicide vs Low Ki vs DJ Z: A spot filled match throughout the bout. Homicide hits the "Cop Killa" on Manik for the pinfall. After the match, James Storm and The Great Sanada come out to the ring. Sanada super kicks Manik before shoving Manik out to the floor. Storm and Sanada take Manik hostage and drag him backstage.
- In Ring Segment: Austin Aries is in the ring for a promo. Aries calls out James Storm and The Great Sanada for what they did to Aries last week. Storm and Sanada arrive. Storm says Sanada has gone through a reawakening just like they will do to Manik now. Aries says that Storm has pissed off TNA and Sanada has pissed off Japan for accepting Storm. Aries says there is one other person here tonight that is pissed off at Sanada. Aries intros "The Human Buzzsaw" Tajiri. Aries and Tajiri brawl with Storm and Sanada and chase them from the ring.
- Backstage Segment: Rockstar Spud doesn't want to fight Rhino. Ethan Carter III says that if Spud wants to keep his job then he's doing it.
- Rockstar Spud vs Rhino: Rhino destroys Spud and scores the pinfall with the "Gore". ECIII, pissed, walks backstage after the match.
- "Champion vs Champion Match": TNA World Champion Bobby Lashley vs X Division Champion Samoa Joe: Joe gets the "Kokina Clutch" locked on Lashley. Kenny King tries to get involved but gets laid out by Joe. Lashley slams Joe and hits the "Spear" for the pinfall. TNA Impact closes out with Lashley celebrating in the ring.
