Wresting Lockup with Brandon, brought to you by Triple Threat CLE, brings you the WWE Money In The Bank 2016 preview.
This year's Money In The Bank is live in Paradise, Nevada at the T-Mobile Arena. Money In The Bank is the one time of the year when one lucky legend, main eventer or up and comer can win an opportunity at a WWE World Heavyweight Championship Match, anytime anywhere. All that person has to do is survive a ladder match and retrieve the briefcase with the contract inside hanging from the rafters. Money In The Bank has created top main eventers in the past and looks to do the same again this year.
- "WWE World Heavyweight Championship Match": Roman Reigns (c) vs. Seth Rollins: Seth Rollins, the man that never lost the WWE World Heavyweight Championship, but was stripped of it due to injury, returned last month at WWE Extreme Rules. Rollins immediately targeted Roman Reigns and the WWE World Heavyweight Championship, by attacking Reigns and laying Reigns out with a Pedigree. Roman Reigns, who just got over two successful title defenses against AJ Styles, now welcomes his former Shield brother as his next opponent. Will Roman Reigns halt the return of Seth Rollins and finally get revenge for Rollins' Shield turn two years ago? Will Seth Rollins, the self proclaimed unbeaten and rightful champion win back the title he never officially lost by match decision?- "Money In The Bank, Ladder Match": Kevin Owens vs. Sami Zayn vs. Dean Ambrose vs. Chris Jericho vs. Alberto Del Rio vs. Cesaro: Who will climb the ladder and retrieve the briefcase granting them a WWE World Heavyweight Championship Match, anytime anywhere? Former NXT World Champion and WWE Intercontinental Champion Kevin Owens? Former NXT World Champion Sami Zayn? Former WWE United States Champion and WWE Intercontinental Champion Dean Ambrose? Former WWE Undisputed Champion, World Heavyweight Champion, WCW World Heavyweight Champion, WWE Intercontinental Champion, WWE European Champion, WWE Hardcore Champion, WWE World Tag Team Champion of RAW and Smackdown versions, the man that has been credited with creating Money In The Bank, Chris Jericho? Former WWE World Champion, World Heavyweight Champion and WWE United States Champion Alberto Del Rio? Former WWE United States Champion and WWE World Tag Team Champion Cesaro?- "WWE United States Championship Match": Rusev (c) vs. Titus O'Neil: Rusev has begun his second reign of terror on the United States as he walked out of WWE Extreme Rules last month, defeating Kalisto and winning the WWE United States Championship. Rusev has begun his new reign as champion by claiming to be mightier then all of the United States' best, the late great Muhammad Ali being one of them. Rusev's opponent, Titus O'Neil, is back with the company after returning from a 60 suspension for touching Vince McMahon during Daniel Bryan's retirement segment on RAW. Titus' first goal, returning from suspension is to stop the Bulgarian Beast and reclaim the WWE United States Championship for Old Glory herself. Will Rusev's reign of terror on the U.S. continue? Will Titus win one for America?- "WWE World Tag Team Championship, Fatal Four Way Match": The New Day (c) vs. Luke Gallows and Karl Anderson vs. The Vaudevillains vs. Enzo and Big Cass: The New Day enter month number ten as the reigning and defending WWE World Tag Team Champions, but now three other teams have stepped forward in challenging The New Day. First up former NXT World Tag Team Champions, The Vaudevillains, look to bring their old school style wrestling to the WWE and conquer the tag team division, much like they did in NXT. Next up, one of the most popular tag teams in the business right now with the WWE fans, Enzo and Big Cass. Enzo is the Smacktalker Skywalker with the microphone lightsaber and Big Cass is seven feet tall and you can't teach that. Enzo and Big Cass look to take the titles and prove that their opponents are S-A-W-F-T SAAAWWWFFFTTT. Finally Luke Gallows and Karl Anderson, aka The Club, look to run over their opponents and claim their first WWE tag team championship for the WWE's version of The Bullet Club. - "WWE vs. TNA Dream Match": John Cena vs. AJ Styles: Whether you like John Cena or you don't, one dream match that everyone would've loved to have seen when AJ Styles was in TNA was Cena vs. Styles. Ever since Styles signed with WWE and debuted in January, Styles has given us all of these possible dream match scenarios now. After coming up short twice on winning the WWE World Heavyweight Championship, AJ Styles, has gone dark side and retaken his spot as the leader of The Club with Luke Gallows and Karl Anderson. Styles welcomed John Cena back from injury and then participated in a 3-on-1 The Club beat down on the 15-time World Champion. Styles has promised that he will defeat Cena and not get "buried" like all of Cena's opponents usually end up. Cena looks to stop The Club and stated that The New Era in WWE will have to go through him first. - Charlotte and Dana Brooke vs. Nattie Neidhart and Becky Lynch: Last month at WWE Extreme Rules, Charlotte defeated Nattie Neidhart after Dana Brooke distracted Nattie by dressing like Ric Flair. Nattie faced Dana Brooke looking for redemption and ended up taking a 2-on-1 beat down from Dana and Charlotte. Becky Lynch arrived on the scene and took sides with Nattie in her fight against Charlotte and Dana Brooke. Dana Brooke, meanwhile, is already messing up and accidentally costing Charlotte matches. Charlotte made it clear to Dana that if they lose to Nattie and Becky at WWE Money In The Bank than Dana will be kicked to the curb. - Sheamus vs. Apollo Crews: Sheamus started this feud by attacking Apollo Crews backstage after one of Crews' matches a few weeks back. One week later after being given advice by The Big Show, Apollo Crews returned the favor and attacked Sheamus from behind backstage. Both men will now meet face to face, inside the ring, one on one, in the WWE Money In The Bank Pre-Show. - Baron Corbin vs. Dolph Ziggler: In another WWE Money In The Bank Pre-Show match, Corbin and Ziggler go one on one. This match will be Corbin and Ziggler's third pay per view match in a row. Ziggler took the first one at WWE Payback. Corbin took the second one at WWE Extreme Rules. Both men continue their hatred and heated rivalry with each other as they go one on one again.
