Wrestling Lockup with Brandon 6.2.16: NXT Results #NXT #WWE

This week's NXT took place at Full Sail University in Orlando, Florida. This week's show was the go home edition to NXT Takeover: The End. Now singles wrestler, Buddy Murphy, battled Tye Dillinger in a one on one match. Austin Aries battled Elias Samson in a one on one match. The Revival took on Tommaso Ciampa and Johnny Gargano in tag team division action. Finn Balor and Samoa Joe had a sit down interview. NXT Women's Champion, Asuka and #1 contender Nia Jax had a contract signing to make their match official for NXT Takeover.

*** NXT ***

- Dash Wilder and Scott Dawson Promo: The Revival state that they are winning back their NXT World Tag Team Championship and Jason Jordan and Chad Gable can use their towel to wipe their tears. Johnny Gargano and Tommaso Ciampa interrupt and say that everyone knows that American Alpha is better than The Revival, they won't win and they can't even beat Gargano and Ciampa. The Revival tell Gargano and Ciampa to go back to the bingo hall and they leave the ring. Gargano says that for The Revival being top guys they sure are leaving quick. The Revival hit the ring, but eat double drop kicks from Gargano and Ciampa.

- Backstage, Shinsuke Nakamura says at NXT Takeover: The End, Austin Aries will bow down to the king of strong style.

- Buddy Murphy vs. Tye Dillinger: The match closes out with Dillinger going for 10 punches in the corner. Murphy pushes Dillinger off before the 10th punch, but Dillinger comes back with a super kick on Murphy and hits the 10th punch. Dillinger hits a fireman's carry into a knee to the head on Murphy for the pinfall.
Winner: Tye Dillinger, by pinfall.

- Finn Balor/Samoa Joe Interview: Balor doesn't regret giving Joe the title shot that allowed Joe to finally win the NXT World Title. Joe says it was only a matter of time before he won the championship. Joe complains that he had to jump through hoops to get a shot, Balor says 100 other guys deserved a shot before Joe. Balor doesn't know what happened to Joe and their 10 year friendship, but winning back the title in his first ever steel cage match is all Balor cares about. Joe says he stabbed Balor in the back because Balor was running from him. Balor and Joe go face to face. Balor tells Joe to enjoy the title. Joe tells Balor that it's all over for him.

- Austin Aries vs. Elias Samson: The match closes out with Aries taking out Samson with a suicide dive. Back in the ring, Aries hits Samson with a running corner drop kick and plants Samson with the brain buster. Aries locks Samson in the Last Chancery submission and forces Samson to tap out. After the match, Aries says he will prove the spotlight belongs on him at NXT Takeover.
Winner: Austin Aries, by submission.

- Dash Wilder and Scott Dawson vs. Tommaso Ciampa and Johnny Gargano: The match closes out with Gargano hitting a spear on Dawson for a near fall. Dawson DDT's Gargano, but Ciampa breaks up the pinfall. Dawson hits a super plex on Gargano off the top rope, but Gargano turns it into a small package and scores the pinfall. After the match, The Revival beat down Ciampa and Gargano. The Revival try to break Ciampa's leg, but American Alpha hit the ring and make the save.
Winners: Tommaso Ciampa and Johnny Gargano, by pinfall.

- NXT Women’s Championship Contract Signing: NXT GM William Regal, NXT Women's Champion Asuka and Nia Jax are in the ring. Nia says Asuka has been running from her, Asuka hasn't done anything in NXT and Asuka may have beaten Bayley, but Nia broke Bayley. Nia signs the contract as Asuka says that Nia talks too much and yells in Japanese as she signs the contract. Asuka gets in Nia's face and says if she's not scared she needs to be. Asuka unloads kicks and punches on Nia. Nia grabs Asuka's leg, power bombs the champ and walks off to end the show.
