Wrestling Lockup with Brandon 6.10.16: SmackDown Results #SmackDown

Wrestling Lockup with Brandon, brought to you by Triple Threat CLE, is here with your Smackdown Recap Edition.  

This week's Smackdown took place in Wichita, Kansas. Enzo and Big Cass battled Luke Gallows and Karl Anderson of The Club in tag team action. Kevin Owens and Alberto Del Rio teamed up to battle Sami Zayn and Cesaro in tag team action. Becky Lynch went one on one against Dana Brooke in women's division action. Baron Corbin went one on one against Kalisto. In the main event, Chris Jericho went one on one against Dean Ambrose.

*** Smackdown ***

- The Club Promo: AJ Styles says that when he came to the WWE, he included that The Club was a package deal in the signing. The Club all claim that they'll be victorious at WWE Money In The Bank and then get interrupted by Enzo and Big Cass. Cass calls Anderson and Gallows the Mr. Clean Dream Team. Anderson mocks Enzo for being a Hooters manager in the past and Gallows says the last big match Enzo and Cass had, Enzo fell asleep on the job. Enzo says he wishes he could walk a mile in The Club's shoes so he could be a mile away from them. Enzo and Cass finish off by calling The Club S-A-W-F-T....SAAAAWWWFFFTTT!

- Enzo and Big Cass vs. Luke Gallows and Karl Anderson: The New Day come out and are on commentary for this match. The match closes out with Cass catching fire on the hot tag, clotheslines The Club, hits a fallaway slam, a corner splash and a big boot to Anderson. Cass hits the Empire Elbow, but Gallows stops the pinfall. Cass boots Gallows as The Vaudevillains arrive at ringside. New Day get up from the commentary table and meet up with The Vaudevillains. All four teams begin brawling and the referee throws out the match. After the match, Enzo, Cass and The New Day clear the ring and stand tall.
Winners: No Contest

- Backstage, Lana says Rusev hasn't been running from Titus O'Neil, because champions don't run. Rusev says he's a better champion than Muhammad Ali ever was. Titus interrupts, is insulted that Rusev would compare himself to Ali and promises to take the WWE United States Championship from Rusev.

- Cesaro and Sami Zayn vs. Kevin Owens and Alberto Del Rio: The match closes out with Owens hitting a super kick on Cesaro, but walks into a Zayn suplex. Del Rio unloads kicks on Zayn, but Cesaro hits Del Rio with a pop up European uppercut. Del Rio comes back and hits the double foot stomp, but Owens tosses Del Rio out of the way and scores the pinfall.
Winners: Kevin Owens and Alberto Del Rio, by pinfall.

- Becky Lynch vs. Dana Brooke: The match closes out with Dana hitting a handstand elbow and dropping Becky across the ropes. Charlotte and Nattie Neidhart are at ringside and start brawling with each other. The referee ejects Charlotte and Nattie from ringside. During the distraction, Becky catches Dana, traps her in the Dis-Arm-Her submission and forces Dana to tap out.
Winner: Becky Lynch, by submission.

- Bob Backlund Training: Darren Young gets more training advice from Bob Backlund. Backlund tells Young that he saved money over the years by wearing the same outfit.

- Baron Corbin vs. Kalisto: Dolph Ziggler is on commentary for this match. The match closes out with Kalisto landing an enziguri on Corbin and tosses Corbin to the floor. Corbin grabs Kalisto and tosses him into the barricade. Back in the ring, Kalisto hits a springboard body press on Corbin. Corbin comes back and plants Kalisto with End Of Days for the pinfall.
Winner: Baron Corbin, by pinfall.

- Backstage, Sheamus tells Zack Ryder, Summer Rae and Golden Truth that he's an A-Lister on the roster. Apollo Crews comes out of nowhere and punches Sheamus.

- Dean Ambrose vs. Chris Jericho: The match closes out with Jericho and Ambrose brawling on the floor. Jericho tosses Ambrose over the announcers table and into the barricade. Back in the ring, Jericho and Ambrose go back and forth until Jericho hits the Code Breaker and scores the pinfall. After the match, Jericho grabs a ladder and tries to attack Ambrose, Ambrose counters and beats down Jericho to end the show.
Winner: Chris Jericho, by pinfall.
