** RAW Highlights **

- A Split Between The Powers That Be: RAW kicked off with Stephanie McMahon and Triple H bragging about RAW's victory at WWE Survivor Series and how Kurt Angle's job as GM is secure. Angle immediately interrupts, gets in Triple H's face and tells him that if he ever pulls a stunt like that again than he can take this job and shove it. Stephanie warns Angle not to jeopardize his career again as Jason Jordan arrives and demands Angle to give him a match against Triple H. Stephanie tells Jordan that Triple H would humiliate and destroy him. Braun Strowman interrupts next and hits the ring. Triple H stares down Strowman before backing off and leaving with Stephanie. Stephanie announces Jordan vs. Strowman for tonight.

- The Demon Meets The Destroyer Again: Last night at WWE Survivor Series, Finn Balor and Samoa Joe had their issues again while teamed up on Team RAW. The first match of RAW saw Finn Balor and Samoa Joe battle in a one on one match. Balor attempts the Coup de Grace on Joe, but Joe crotches Balor on the ropes. Joe wraps up Balor in the Coquina Clutch submission and chokes out Balor for the win.

- Asuka Stays Dominate: Last night at WWE Survivor Series, Asuka was the sole survivor of Team RAW after fighting off being left in a two on one against Nattie Neidhart and Tamina. The second match of the night saw Asuka battle Dana Brooke in a one on one match. Dana litterly stood no chance what so ever against Asuka as Asuka made quick work of Dana. Asuka knocked Dana out with an Asuka Kick to score the pinfall.

- The Shield Ruin Miz TV: The Miz, Bo Dallas and Curtis Axel are back for another exciting edition of Miz TV. After introducing Roman Reigns three times, he finally appears with Seth Rollins and Dean Ambrose. The Shield are hyped up after defeating The New Day at WWE Survivor Series. Rollins and Ambrose are plotting to win back the tag team titles. Reigns says he needs a title and asks Miz if he's free tonight to defend his WWE Intercontinental Championship. The Shield end up attacking and destroying Axel and Dallas as Miz runs away and watches the carnage from the ramp.

- Sheamus Enters The Ambrose Asylum: The third match of the night saw Sheamus and Dean Ambrose battle in a one on one action. The action ended up on the floor where Cesaro and Seth Rollins traded blows. Rollins unloads on Cesaro, distracting Sheamus. Ambrose hits Dirty Deeds on Sheamus and grabs the pinfall win.

- #1 Contenders Match, A Debut And A Surprise Return: Alexa Bliss was out to complain that she didn't have enough time to prepare for Charlotte at WWE Survivor Series, after taking the loss. Mickie James interrupted to inform Alexa that we're sick of hearing her excuses. Bayley interrupts and tells Mickie to step aside because Bayley wants a title shot. Sasha Banks interrupts next and demands a title shot because the WWE needs a Boss. Alicia Fox is out next and demands a title shot for leading Team RAW to victory at WWE Survivor Series. Kurt Angle interrupts and announces a Fatal Four Way Match right now between the four ladies. The match ends in a no contest after Paige returns from her two year absence and arrives at ringside. Paige says she's back, but didn't come alone. Sonya Deville and Mandy Rose hit the ring and attack Mickie and Sasha. Paige drops Bayley with a kick as Alicia runs away. Mandy and Sonya lay out Mickie and Sasha as Paige lays out Bayley with the RamPaige.

- The Big Red Machine Returns From Hell: Last week, Braun Strowman put Kane through the mat, sending him back to hell. This week, Kane returned, interrupted the Strowman vs. Jason Jordan match and attacked Strowman. Kane beats down Strowman with a steel chair and then uses the steel steps to jam the steel chair into Strowman's throat. Strowman shoves away WWE Medics and refuses medical attention.

- Still The Champ, How You Doin'?: Enzo Amore is out with Noam Dar, Tony Nese, Ariya Daivari and Drew Gulak and brags about defeating Kalisto at WWE Survivor Series. Rich Swann, Cedric Alexander, Mustafa Ali and Akira Tozawa interrupt and head to the ring. Enzo asks if they're here to join the Zo Train. Alexander says they're here to earn a title shot. Swann calls Enzo nothing but a catchphrase and a t-shirt without his boys backing him up. A brawl breaks out between both groups as Enzo escapes and watches the chaos from outside the ring. This sets up an eight man tag team match that sees Alexander hit the Lumbar Check on Dar and then Ali hits the 450 Splash for the win.

- Matt Hardy Interrupts Elias' Concert: Elias is in the ring with his guitar. Elias sings about defeating Matt Hardy last night at WWE Survivor Series, which brings out Hardy. Hardy and Elias start swinging and brawl all over the ring. Hardy goes for the Twist of Fate, but Elias counters and escapes the ring.

- The Miz Defends The Intercontinental Championship: The main event of the show saw The Miz forced into defending his title by RAW GM Kurt Angle against Roman Reigns. Reigns with a near fall Superman Punch on The Miz brings Sheamus and Cesaro out for the distraction. Miz hits the Skull Crushing Finale on Reigns, but Reigns kicks out at two and a half. Seth Rollins and Dean Ambrose hit ringside and start brawling with Sheamus and Cesaro. Miz is now distracted and gets run over by a Reigns spear.
