Wrestling Lockup With Brandon 4/6/17: NXT Recap

NXT returns this week, 4 days removed from NXT Takeover: Orlando. The Glorious Era of NXT continues as Bobby Roode still reigns as the NXT World Champion. Who will step up and challenge the Glorious One in weeks to come as we head to Takeover: Chicago in May!

** This Weeks Card **

- Peyton Royce battled Aliyah.
- Heavy Machinery battled The Bollywood Boyz.
- Oney Lorcan battled a Mystery Opponent.

** NXT **

- Peyton Royce vs. Aliyah: The match closes out with Peyton applying a submission on Aliyah, using the ropes. Peyton lands a spin kick dropping Aliyah. Aliyah gets in a series of arm drags and a hiptoss. Peyton regains offense and finishes Aliyah off with a Fisherman's Suplex into a bridge for the pinfall.
Winner: Peyton Royce, by pinfall.

- Heavy Machinery vs. The Bollywood Boyz: The match closes out with Harv getting suplexed and Gurv getting planted after dancing for Heavy Machinery. The Bollywood Boyz double team Otis, but Otis double suplexes them. Knight tags in and cleans house. Otis scoops up Harv, as Knight jumps onto Otis causing both men to fall on top of Harv, flattening him. Otis covers and scores the pinfall.
Winners: Heavy Machinery, by pinfall.

- Backstage, Oney Lorcan says he doesn't know who his opponent is tonight, but he's here to do his job and win.

- Oney Lorcan vs. ????: Lorcan's mystery opponent was announced as.......El Vagabundo (Elias Samson in a mask). Vagabundo sings a song and Lorcan interrupts him stating that he's not fooling anyone, everyone knows he's Elias Samson. Vagabundo denies the accusations as the match begins. The match closes out with Lorcan hitting eight straight corner charges on Vagabundo. Vagabundo takes control and goes for a slam. Lorcan slips out and pulls Vagabundo's mask off, revealing Elias Samson. Lorcan hits the running Blockbuster on Samson and scores the pinfall. After the match, Samson is again escorted out of the building.
Winner: Oney Lorcan, by pinfall.
