Wrestling Lockup with Brandon, 12.4.15: NXT & Smackdown

Wrestling Lockup with Brandon, brought to you by Triple Threat CLE. It's this week's NXT and Smackdown recap for the week.

*** NXT ***

- This week's NXT was at their home base at Full Sail University in Orlando, Florida. Baron Corbin tunes up for Apollo Crews. #1 Contender to the NXT Women's Championship, Nia Jax, was in action against Blue Pants. "Cowboy" James Storm returned, "Sorry About Your Damn Luck". Samoa Joe battled Tommaso Ciampa, as Joe prepares for his NXT World Title Match against Finn Balor.

- Baron Corbin defeated Tye Dillinger, by pinfall: Corbin dominates with a boss man slam, corner blows to the back, a suplex and a cocky pinfall attempt with a knee on Dillinger's neck. Dillinger gets in some offense, but gets caught coming off the top rope and planted with End of Days. Corbin covers and scores the pinfall.

- Nia Jax defeated Blue Pants, by pinfall: Blue Pants gets dominated by the #1 Contender. Nia hits a tilt-a-whirl shoulder breaker, plants Blue with a samoan drop and drops two big leg drops on Blue. Nia covers and scores the pinfall.

- Backstage, Dash Wilder and Scott Dawson claim that Enzo and Big Cass are all talk and threaten to break Big Cass' leg.

- James Storm defeated Adam Rose, by pinfall: Rose applies a modified cobra clutch submission and drops Storm face first on the mat. Rose tosses Storm over the ropes, but Storm skins the cat and lands a corner boot on Rose. Storm hits a neck breaker and lands Last Call on Rose to score the pinfall.

- Jason Jordan and Chad Gable defeated The Vaudevillains, by pinfall: Gable hot tags in, but gets dropped by English with a back body drop, putting Gable on the floor. English and Gotch double team Gable until Gable finally tags Jordan. Jordan hits a Tazplex on English. Jordan and Gable follow that with their double team finisher to secure the pinfall. After the match, Jordan and Gable look for a respectful handshake, but English and Gotch refuse and walk out.

- Emma defeated Liv Morgan, by submission: Emma dominates with a tarantula, the Emma-mite Sandwich, punches and kicks. Liv applies a guillotine and some UFC ground and pound. Liv with a jack knife pin, but Emma bridges out and curb stomps Liv. Emma locks in the Emma Lock submission and forces Liv to tap out. After the match, Asuka appears on the NXT titantron, unloading on a punching bag. Asuka promises to see Emma at Takeover: London.

- Backstage, Nia Jax smiles at NXT Women's Champion, Bayley, then attacks the champ, throwing Bayley right through a closed door.

- Samoa Joe defeated Tommaso Ciampa, by submission: Ciampa lands a series of blows on Joe, applies a standing guillotine and a standing kimura. Joe plants a kick to Ciampa's head and hits a snapping power slam for a near fall. Joe misses the face wash, but catches Ciampa charging and plants him with the uranage. Joe hits the Muscle Buster, applies the Coquina Clutch submission and forces Ciampa to tap out to end the show.

*** Smackdown ***

- This week's Smackdown took place in the land of chocolate...Hershey, Pennsylvania. Now that Sheamus has created the League of Nations with Alberto Del Rio, King Barrett and Rusev, will this effect Roman Reigns' shot at winning the WWE World Heavyweight Championship? After getting screwed over by Charlotte on RAW, Becky Lynch, goes one on one with Brie Bella. The Wyatt Family and Dudley Boys continue their feud, as Devon goes one on one with Bray Wyatt.

- Roman Reigns, Dean Ambrose and The Usos Promo: Smackdown kicks off with Reigns talking about his family (The Usos), his friends (Ambrose), his enemies (League of Nations) and how Sheamus stole his WWE World Heavyweight Championship and got The Authority involved. Reigns promises to regain the WWE World Title at WWE TLC and then proceeds to call out the League of Nations. The LON arrive and stand on the Smackdown stage. Sheamus mocks Reigns saying how heart warming it was to hear about Reigns' family and friends. Sheamus brings up Reigns' 5:15 title reign and says Reigns shouldn't be ashamed cause he can at least say he's a former champion.
Reigns says no one wants to hear Sheamus make jokes and dares him to come to the ring. Sheamus announces that The Authority made an eight man tag team match tonight with the LON vs. Reigns and his family and friend. The New Day interrupt and arrive on the stage and give Reigns some bad news. The Authority also made a six man tag with The New Day vs. The Usos and Ambrose and if the New Day win then Reigns fights the LON four on one.

- Tyler Breeze defeated Neville, by pinfall: Breeze unloads stomps on Neville in the corner. Neville comes back, hits a super kick and goes for Red Arrow, but Breeze rolls out of the way. Summer Rae grabs Neville's ankle, distracting Neville long enough for Breeze to hit a boot. Breeze plants Neville with the Kill Switch and scores the pinfall.

- Backstage, Becky Lynch says what happened with Charlotte on RAW is water under the bridge. Even though it was wrong, she doesn't see Charlotte becoming like Paige. Brie Bella and Alicia Fox interrupt. Brie says Becky will drown in her own shame. Alicia says that maybe Becky is the problem. Charlotte arrives, holds back Becky and says maybe the problem is that Brie and Alicia can't accept the new generation of Divas and Charlotte will always have Becky's back. Brie says Charlotte will realize it's lonely at the top after she loses Becky.

- Brie Bella defeated Becky Lynch, by DQ: Becky delivers some upper cuts, a couple clotheslines, a running forearm and gets a near fall on Brie with a suplex. Becky goes for her Dis-Arm-Her submission, but accidentally shoves Brie into Charlotte. Becky regains control of Brie and locks in the Dis-Arm-Her submission, but Charlotte attacks Brie, getting Becky DQ'ed. After the match, Becky and Charlotte argue with each other over the whole situation.

- Backstage, The Miz mocks Neville, tells Neville to take pointers from him to help his career, Neville reminds Miz of Daniel Bryan and Miz taught Bryan everything he knows. Miz hands Neville his business card and an autographed copy of a Miz movie.

- Backstage, Lana calls Ryback a barbarian, accuses Ryback of purposely trying to hurt her on RAW and Ryback wouldn't know what to do with a beautiful woman. Rusev calls Ryback a coward and will get crushed.

- The New Day defeated The Usos and Dean Ambrose, by pinfall, in a Six Man Tag Team Match: Jey hits a suicide dive on Big E as Jimmy hits an enziguri on Woods. Jimmy goes for the Uso Splash, but Kofi gets Jimmy to jump down and chase him. Jimmy appears to hurt his knee and Kofi capitalizes with Trouble In Paradise right to Jimmy's bad knee. Woods hits Jimmy with a Shining Wizard and scores the pinfall. Roman Reigns must now face the League of Nations alone in the main event.

- Bray Wyatt defeated Devon Dudley, by pinfall: Rowan distracts Devon early to help Bray take the advantage. Devon comes back, lands a flapjack and a splash on Bray for a near fall. Bray lands a boot on Devon and hits Sister Abigail to score the pinfall. After the match, Bray sets Devon up for another Sister Abigail and orders Bubba Ray and Tommy Dreamer to back off. The Wyatt's bring in tables and Bubba and Dreamer grab kendo sticks. Bubba and Dreamer unload kendo stick shots until Strowman grabs Bubba and chokes him out with the Bear Hug/Sleeper. Harper super kicks Dreamer and Rowan puts Dreamer through a table. The Wyatt's pose over Dreamer and The Dudleys laid out bodies.

- Roman Reigns defeated Sheamus, King Barrett, Alberto Del Rio and Rusev, by Countout, in a 4-On-1 Handicap Match: Del Rio goes for the cross arm breaker submission, but Reigns counters with a spear. Sheamus goes for a Brogue Kick, but Reigns tosses Sheamus to the floor. Reigns sends Rusev to the announcers table and tosses Del Rio over the announcers table. Reigns gets back in the ring and wins as the League of Nations are counted out. After the match, Sheamus lands a Brogue Kick on Reigns and the LON beat down Reigns. The Usos and Dean Ambrose hit the ring, make the save and have a stare down with the LON to end the show.
