Wrestling Lockup with Brandon, 12.29.15: RAW #RAW

Wrestling Lockup with Brandon, brought to you by Triple Threat CLE, is back with the RAW recap edition.

- This week's RAW was live in Brooklyn, New York. The man himself, Vincent Kennedy McMahon, returned to RAW this week, after eating a Superman Punch from WWE World Heavyweight Champion, Roman Reigns, two weeks ago. And speaking of returns, John Cena returned to RAW this week, after taking time off after Hell In A Cell, in October. Cena took on the man that defeated him at Hell In A Cell, WWE United States Champion, Alberto Del Rio. Let's get to this weeks RAW Recap Edition.

- Vince McMahon Promo: Vince is here to settle the score with WWE World Heavyweight Champion, Roman Reigns. Vince calls out Reigns, Reigns' music hits and out comes the champ. Vince says he hopes Reigns isn't expecting a congratulations, promises Triple H will get revenge soon, mentions what happened last week with Stephanie McMahon and reminds Reigns that he owns this ring, Reigns' title and Reigns himself. Reigns says Vince doesn't own him or the title, WE own it (Meaning Reigns and the WWE Universe). Vince tells Reigns stories about all of Reigns' relatives that worked for WWE and how Vince would humiliate them, put them through hell, made money off of them, paid them cheap and loved every minute of it. Reigns shoves Vince down, Vince grabs his neck and claims to have injured it. Stephanie McMahon arrives with two police officers and orders Reigns arrested for assault. The police refuse, stating they were hired for security reasons not to be a personal police department. Stephanie yells at the police, the police threaten to take Stephanie to jail, Vince steps in, argues with the police and grabs a police officer by the collar. The police end up arresting Vince, Stephanie pleads with the police not to take her father and Reigns laughs as they cuff Vince and take him away.

- Backstage, Vince McMahon is loaded into the police car and Stephanie McMahon screams police brutality.

- Kevin Owens vs. Neville: The match closes out quickly with Neville going for Red Arrow. Owens counters, goes for the pop up power bomb, but Neville rolls up Owens for the pinfall. After the match, Owens attacks Neville. Owens tosses Neville into the barricade, crotches Neville between the ring post, punches and stomps on Neville until WWE Officials pull Owens off.
Winner: Neville, by pinfall.

- Kevin Owens Continues The Attack On Neville: After the commercial break, WWE Officials are helping Neville to the backstage area. Kevin Owens runs back out and attacks Neville again, hitting a clothesline and tossing Neville into the steel steps. Owens goes for an apron power bomb on Neville when Dean Ambrose hits the ring for the save and brawls with Owens. WWE Officials try to separate Owens and Ambrose until Owens finally escapes to safety through the crowd. 

- Backstage, Becky Lynch says she came to her one time home of New York City to stand out not blend in with WWE.

- Sasha Banks (w/Team BAD) vs. Becky Lynch: Before the match, Sasha sports a New England Patriots hat, being from Boston and Naomi rips on the New York fans. The match closes out with, Sasha hitting Becky in the mouth, but Becky hits an exploder suplex on Sasha for a near fall. Tamina distracts the referee, as Naomi kicks Becky in the head. Sasha hits Becky with the Backstabber and goes for the Bank Statement submission. Becky counters and applies the Dis-Arm-Her submission. Sasha counters that with a pinfall rollup.
Winner: Sasha Banks, by pinfall.

- At The Local Police Precinct: We get a shot of Vince McMahon's mugshot and learn he's been charged with Resisting Arrest and Assaulting an Officer.

- Kofi Kingston vs. Kalisto: The New Day are still mad about not winning the Tag Team of the Year Slammy. The match closes out with, Kalisto landing a corkscrew cross body, planting a series of kicks and drops Kofi face first. Kalisto dropkicks Woods off the apron and Sin Cara takes out both Woods and Big E on the floor. Kalisto lands a hurricanrana into a pinfall on Kofi. After the match, Woods challenges Sin Cara to a match against Big E.
Winner: Kalisto, by pinfall.

- Big E vs. Sin Cara: During the match, Sin Cara lands on his shoulder and appeared to be injured. WWE Medical check on Sin Cara, but he says he's fine. The match closes out with, Big E working on Sin Cara in the corner. Sin Cara hits a rolling senton on Big E. Kofi, Woods and Kalisto all get involved, distracting Sin Cara. Big E grabs Sin Cara and hits the Big Ending for the pinfall.
Winner: Big E, by pinfall.

- Miz TV, Best of 2015: Miz immediately gets interrupted by Ryback. Ryback says Miz TV is stupid, no one cares about 2015 and 2016 will be the year of the "Big Guy". Goldust interrupts next and makes Miz uncomfortable. Zack Ryder arrives next and says 2016 will be the year of New Zack City. Miz calls everyone disrespectful when R-Truth interrupts. Truth wants our vote for Superstar of the Year, is reminded the Slammys were last week, apologizes and leaves. Miz attempts to talk again, when out comes Heath Slater. Slater has a lot to say, but gets interrupted by Big Show. Slater tries to tell Show to leave, but gets knocked out with the Knockout Punch. Show shoulder blocks Goldust to the floor. Show choke slams R-Truth. Show and Ryback go face to face, but Show dumps Ryback to the floor. Show announces he's officially in the 2016 Royal Rumble, will win it and go on to win the WWE World Heavyweight Championship at Wrestlemania 32.

- Big Show vs. Ryback: The match closes out with, Big Show dominating most of the match. Ryback makes a comeback and goes for the Meat Hook. Show rolls to the floor and walks out, taking the count out loss.
Winner: Ryback, by countout.

- "Six Man Tag Team Match": Dean Ambrose and The Usos vs. King Barrett, Rusev and Sheamus: Before the match, Kevin Owens arrives to watch this match. Sheamus also says we should be ashamed of ourselves for applauding Vince McMahon's arrest. Sheamus dedicates this match to Vince. The match closes out with, Jey landing a samoan drop on Sheamus and a Rikishi Splash for a near fall. Rusev tosses Jey into the ring post and knocks Jimmy off the apron. Ambrose and Rusev end up on the floor. Jey dodges a Brogue Kick and lands an Uso Kick on Sheamus. Jey goes to the top rope, but gets distracted by Barrett. Jey leaps at Sheamus, but Sheamus gets his knees up. Sheamus hits the Brogue Kick on Jey and scores the pinfall.
Winners: Sheamus, Rusev and King Barrett, by pinfall.

- Kevin Owens Attacks Dean Ambrose: After the match, Owens attacks Ambrose. Owens tosses Ambrose into the steel steps and then into the barricade. Owens picks Ambrose up and power bombs Ambrose from off the steel steps through the announcers table. Owens walks off as WWE Medical check on Ambrose.

- At The Local Police Precinct: Vince McMahon has made bail and is heading back to the arena.

- John Cena Promo: Cena says this would be the perfect opportunity for a U.S. Open Challenge, but Alberto Del Rio is the champion, is a disgrace, and refuses to defend it. Del Rio interrupts and says the U.S. fans don't deserve a title match. Cena calls Del Rio scared. Cena and Del Rio go back and forth until Cena finally gets Del Rio to put up the WWE United States Championship, tonight.

- "WWE United States Championship Match": Alberto Del Rio (c) vs. John Cena: The match closes out with, Cena going for AA, but Del Rio counters into the cross arm breaker submission. Cena counters out with a power bomb and sets up for another AA. Del Rio purposely kicks the referee, knocking him out. Cena locks in the STF submission and Del Rio taps out, however, the referee is still knocked out. Sheamus and Rusev hit the ring and attack Cena. Cena ducks a Brogue Kick, causing Sheamus to kick Rusev. Cena hits the AA on Sheamus and then the AA on Del Rio. Cena covers as the referee comes to. Before Cena can score the pinfall, Sheamus and Rusev again attack Cena, forcing the referee to DQ Del Rio.
Winner: John Cena, by DQ, Alberto Del Rio retains the WWE United States Championship.

- Vince McMahon Returns: After the match, Sheamus and Rusev attack Cena. The Usos hit the ring, but get beat down by the LON. Roman Reigns hits the ring, spears Rusev, Superman Punches Del Rio and goes face to face with Sheamus, who has a steel chair. Reigns Superman Punches Sheamus, as Vincent Kennedy McMahon returns. Vince announces that next week on RAW, Reigns will defend the WWE World Heavyweight Championship against Sheamus, while Vince McMahon serves as the Special Guest Referee.

This closes out this weeks RAW.
