*** WWE ***

- New Champions Crowned: If you missed WWE SummerSlam last weekend, check out my recap and read about how Neville, The Usos, Nattie Neidhart, Sasha Banks and Seth Rollins and Dean Ambrose became new champions.

- Update On Ric Flair: This past week, Charlotte went to social media and gave us an update on her father "Nature Boy" Ric Flair.

"After an incredibly hard week, my dad is getting better. There is still a long road to go and he’s not out of the woods just yet but I want to again thank everyone for their support on behalf of myself and my family. My dad has given his life to sports entertainment. To everyone competing tonight, you know he’d be backstage watching if he could. Give it a little extra flair for him tonight. Woooo!"

- John Cena Arrives On RAW: If you missed RAW this past week, John Cena made the official jump from Smackdown Live over to RAW. Cena looks ahead to beginning a feud with Roman Reigns. 

- Big Cass Injured: This past week on RAW, Big Cass caught a tough break as it appears he suffered from an ACL injury during his Brooklyn Street Fight against Enzo. Cass is expected to get an MRI done to see the seriousness of the injury.

- Update On Cass: After getting an MRI done on Tuesday, Cass did in fact tear his ACL and will be out 6 to 9 months after surgery.  

- New #1 Contender To The WWE Universal Championship: This past Monday on RAW, GM Kurt Angle announced that Braun Strowman will battle WWE Universal Champion Brock Lesnar at WWE No Mercy in September.

- Bobby Roode Arrives On Smackdown Live: Former NXT World Champion Bobby Roode, made his official debut this past Tuesday on Smackdown Live.

- Shelton Benjamin Returns On Smackdown Live: Former WWE Intercontinental Champion Shelton Benjamin returned to the WWE this week and debuted on Smackdown Live as Chad Gable's new tag team partner.

- Enzo Arrives On 205 Live: You can check out the results of 205 Live below and read about Enzo making his official debut on 205 Live.

- Rusev And Lana Leaving?: Rumors have begun circulating that Rusev and Lana are not happy at all with their current run in the company and are asking for their release. Lana, however, went to social media this past week and stated that the rumors of her and Rusev leaving were not true. Lana stated that she has alot to accomplish yet on Smackdown Live.

- Wrestlemania 34 News: According to sources inside WWE, the rumor is that WWE is again planning to go with Roman Reigns vs. Brock Lesnar for the WWE Universal Championship at Wrestlemania 34. Many thought that Roman Reigns was going to face John Cena at WM34, but judging by this past weeks RAW, Cena and Reigns will go one on one sooner.


** 205 Live Recap **
WWE Cruiserweight Champion Neville defended his title against Akira Tozawa in the main event.

- Cedric Alexander and The Gran Metalik vs. Tony Nese and Drew Gulak: The match closes out with Metalik walking the ropes and hitting a splash on Gulak for a near fall. Alexander and Metalik dump Nese and Gulak outside then hit double suicide dives. Alexander hits the Lumbar Check on Gulak to score the pinfall.
Winners: Cedric Alexander and Gran Metalik, by pinfall.

- Backstage, Titus O'Neil tells Akira Tozawa he wishes he would've waited for his rematch. Tozawa says he's confident.

- "The Gentleman's Duel": Jack Gallagher vs. Brian Kendrick: There's a table set up with different weapons in the ring. Gallagher says he's been told he'll never make it to the top, but he's getting physical to prove what kind of fighter he is. Kendrick appears on the TitanTron, calls Gallagher a clown and he has gotten an actual Clown to replace Kendrick tonight. A Clown heads to the ring, shoots water from a flower in Gallagher's face and then slaps Gallagher with a glove. Gallagher head butts the Clown, shoves all the weapons off the table and goes for a power bomb. Kendrick appears from the crowd and attacks Gallagher with an umbrella. Kendrick power bombs Gallagher through the table and then challenges him to a No DQ Match next week.
Winner: No Contest.

- Backstage, Rich Swann wants to talk to TJ Perkins. Perkins has a knee brace on and claiming injury. Perkins thinks Swann should concentrate on beating Ariya Daivari. Swann says he will, but he wants Perkins when he's 100%. 

- "WWE Cruiserweight Championship Match": Neville (c) vs. Akira Tozawa: The match closes out with Tozawa hitting a head butt on Neville and then Tozawa unloads a series of kicks. Neville goes for the Rings of Saturn submission, Tozawa counters, but Neville counters back with a near fall rollup. Tozawa plants a spinning kick on Neville and heads to the top rope. Tozawa misses the senton which allows Neville to lock on the Rings of Saturn submission and get the tap out win to retain the title.
Winner: Neville, by submission, to retain the WWE Cruiserweight Championship.

- After the match, Neville grabs a microphone. Neville mocks Tozawa's 6 day title reign and declares himself still the King of the Cruiserweights. Enzo suddenly debuts with 205 Live and interrupts Neville. Enzo says 205 just became the realest show in the room. Neville laughs and walks away. Enzo spells out SAWFT for Neville as Neville walks out to end the show.


*** NXT ***

- New Champions Crowned: If you missed NXT Takeover: Brooklyn 3 last weekend, check out my recap of the event and read about how SAnitY became the new NXT World Tag Team Champions and how Drew McIntyre became the new NXT World Champion.

- Adam Cole BAY BAY!: Adam Cole officially made his NXT debut last weekend at NXT Takeover: Brooklyn 3, attacking newly crowned NXT World Champion Drew McIntyre.

- Asuka Suffers Injury: According to WWE, Asuka suffered a broken collarbone during her match against Ember Moon at NXT Takeover: Brroklyn 3. Asuka is expected to be out 6 to 8 weeks, however, it was reported that she would not be stripped of her NXT Women's Championship because she will be ready to go by November for the next NXT pay per view, NXT Takeover: Houston. 

- Asuka Vacates NXT Women's Championship: After suffering a collar bone injury from Ember Moon, this week's TV tapings for future NXT TV shows saw Asuka officially vacate the NXT Women's Championship. Asuka stated it was to accomplish more in the WWE, feeling as if she's accomplished enough in NXT.

- Lio Rush Coming Soon: WWE officially announced the signing of Lio Rush this week. Rush will report to the WWE Performance Center in Orlando, Florida. Rush will then debut with the NXT roster soon.


*** GFW ***

** GFW Impact Recap **
This week's show saw a 20 Man Gauntlet Match to crown a new GFW Undisputed Champion.

- A video is shown of GFW owner Jeff Jarrett getting into an argument with Bobby Lashley's MMA fight team for them attacking the referee last week. Lashley tries to play peace keeper and calm down both sides. Jarrett ends up inviting them back for tonight's show.

- Backstage, Jim Cornette makes it clear to the whole roster that no one gets a free ride in GFW and he wants chaos in tonight's Gauntlet Match.

- OVE vs. The Heat Seekers: OVE shows another quick strong outing here. The match closes out with OVE hitting a high kick/low kick combo to score the pinfall.
Winners: OVE, by pinfall.

- Backstage, Eli Drake tries to talk Jim Cornette out of giving Drake spot #1 in the Gauntlet Match. Cornette says he'll change his number if he leaves him alone the rest of the show. Drake agrees and ends up with spot #2. Drake is furious as it's pretty much the same number as being #1.

- Taryn Terrell Promo: Taryn says she attacked Gail Kim last week because Gail never once showed Taryn appreciation when she congratulated her for making the 2017 Hall of Fame. Taryn is sick of Gail Kim and wants to see her retire sooner rather than later. Gail Kim hits the ring, but gets held back by Jeremy Borash as Taryn escapes.

- Backstage, Bobby Lashley and his MMA crew arrive in Jim Cornette's office. Cornette tells Lashley's crew to behave tonight and tells Lashley he needs to earn his title back if he wants it bad enough.

- Grado and Joseph Park Promo: Grado announces that he's being deported and has to go back home to England. Park says he's sorry and wishes he could've helped him more. Grado thanks the fans for making his dreams come true in America. Laurel Van Ness suddenly arrives to the ring. Laurel says Grado helped change her so she wants to get married. Laurel proposes and Grado says yes. Kongo Kong hits the ring, but Mahabali Shera is right behind him to save Grado.

- Backstage, Jim Cornette tells Eddie Edwards that both he and Anthem would be happy if Edwards walked out the new champion tonight.

- At LAX's hangout, Konnan tells Low Ki to destroy everyone in tonight's Gauntlet Match and bring the title home to LAX.

- Drake and Adonis double team Shera and toss him out.
- Johnny Impact eliminates both Adonis and Suicide.
- Garza eliminates Sutter.
- Bobby Lashley eliminates Baha, Ishimori and KM as soon as he arrives.
- Moose tosses Garza Jr. out.
- Ethan Carter eliminates Fantasma.
- Edwards eliminates Carter.

** Final Four **
We're down to Moose, Eli Drake, Johnny Impact and Eddie Edwards.

- Moose tries to toss out Edwards by power bomb, but Edwards counters with a hurricanrana and eliminates Moose.

- Edwards unloads on Impact. Drake tosses Impact over the ropes and onto the apron. Drake charges, misses a spear, falls to the floor, but isn't eliminated because he went through the second rope. Drake grabs Impact and pulls him to the floor, eliminating Impact.

Eddie Edwards vs. Eli Drake: The match closes out with Edwards hitting a suicide dive through the middle rope on Drake. Back in the ring, Edwards hits a Blue Thunder Bomb on Drake for a near fall. Drake tries to steal a pinfall with his feet on the ropes, but Edwards kicks out at two and a half. Edwards goes to the top rope for a cross body, but Drake rolls through after catching Edwards, hits the Bottom Rung and scores the pinfall for the title.
Winner: Eli Drake, to win the GFW Undisputed Championship.

- After the match, Bobby Lashley's MMA Fight Team get involved with the action again. Lashley tries to calm everyone down as Scott D'Amore gets knocked down. Lashley's team leaves up the ramp as the show ends.

- Kiera Hogan Signs With GFW: According to GFW, Kiera Hogan has signed a deal with GFW and is expected to start performing for the promotion very soon. Kiera is 22 years old, hails from Atlanta, Georgia and is best known for her work in other Indy Promotions. Hogan has wrestled in SHINE Wrestling, Atlanta Wrestling Entertainment, SHIMMER and other promotions.

- Tyrus Granted His Release: Last week, Tyrus had posted a video stating that he was refusing to do anymore TV tapings with GFW until they gave him a better storyline with his gimmick. GFW offered Tyrus his release from the company and Tyrus accepted. Tyrus sent his best wishes to GFW and thanked them for the past memories.

- Low Ki Finished With GFW: GFW announced this week that Low Ki has chosen to leave GFW due to creative differences on where his character was going heading into Bound For Glory in October.


*** RING OF HONOR ***

** ROH TV Recap **
This week's show saw Dalton Castle and The Boys defend their ROH Six Man Tag Team Championship against Colt Cabana and The Tempura Boys.

- Trent Berretta and Chuckie T vs. Shaheem Ali and LSG: The match closes out with Berretta and Chuckie picking up the pinfall victory.
Winners: Trent Berretta and Chuckie T, by pinfall.

- Matt Taven vs. Jay Briscoe: The match closes out with TK O'Ryan getting dragged into the ring. TK shows everyone that his current leg injury is now 100% as he uses his cast to attack Jay, causing a DQ. The Kingdom triple team Jay and leave him laid out with a triple steel chair shot.
Winner: Jay Briscoe, by DQ.

- Backstage, Jay Lethal is interviewed when Silas Young interrupts and brawls with Lethal. Beer City Bruiser helps out Young, which leads to Young hitting Lethal with a steel chair.

- "ROH Six Man Tag Team Championship Match": Dalton Castle and The Boys (c) vs. Colt Cabana and The Tempura Boys: The match closes out with Castle nailing the Bang A Rang on Cabana to score the pinfall and retain the titles.
Winners: Dalton Castle and The Boys, by pinfall, to retain the ROH Six Man Tag Team Championship.

- After the match, Castle and Cabana shake hands and Cabana tells Castle that he's finally earned his respect.

** War of the Worlds UK Night #1 **
ROH began their tour of the United Kingdom last week with night #1 of War of the Worlds UK. The show took place live in London, England. The main event of the show saw Los Ingobernables De Japan battle The Bullet Club in a Ten Man Tag Team Match.

- Mark Briscoe defeated Ryan Smile.

- The Addiction defeated Rey Bucanero and Ultimo Guerrero.

- Jay Briscoe defeated Kenny King.

- Bully Ray defeated Sha Samuels, Jay Lethal and Silas Young in a Fatal Four Way Match.

- Dalton Castle and The Boys  defeated Jushin Thunder Liger, Delirious and Mistico, to retain their ROH Six Man Tag Team Championship.

- Kushida defeated Titan, to retain his ROH Television Championship.

- Los Ingobernables de Japon (Tetsuya Naito, Hiromu Takahashi, Sanada, Bushi, and Evil) defeated The Bullet Club (Marty Scurll, Hangman Adam Page, Nick Jackson, Matt Jackson and Cody Rhodes), in a Ten Man Tag Team Match.

** War of the Worlds UK Night #2 **
ROH had night #2 of their tour of the United Kingdom last weekend, live at Liverpool Olympia. The main event of the show saw ROH World Heavyweight Champion Cody Rhodes defend his title against Sanada.

- Kenny King defeated Hangman Adam Page, by pinfall, with the Royal Flush.

- Ultimo Guerrero and Rey Bucanero defeated Mistico and Titan, by pinfall, after Guerrero delivered a top rope inverted suplex on Titan.

- Jay Lethal defeated Josh Bodom, by pinfall, with the Lethal Injection.

- After the match, Silas Young hits the ring and attacks Jay Lethal. Lethal and Young brawl around ringside until ROH officials break things up.

- Bully Ray and The Briscoes defeated Bushi, Evil and Tetsuya Naito, by pinfall, with a triple team 3D.

- Mark Haskins defeated Silas Young, by pinfall, with the Blue Thunder Bomb, after Jay Lethal distracted Young.

- After the match, Silas Young and Jay Lethal again brawl around ringside until ROH officials break things up.

- Kushida defeated Marty Scurll, Dalton Castle and Hiromu Takahashi in a Fatal Four Way Match to retain the ROH Television Championship. Castle hit the Bang A Rang on Takahashi. Scurll hit Castle with his umbrella, but Scurll got tossed outside by Kushida. Kushida hits Back To The Future on Castle and scores the pinfall.

- The Young Bucks defeated The Addiction, by pinfall, to retain the ROH World Tag Team Championship. The Bucks hit the Meltzer Driver on Frankie Kazarian for the pinfall.

- Cody Rhodes defeated Sanada, by pinfall, to retain the ROH World Heavyweight Championship. Cody countered the Skull Lock submission and hit Cross Rhodes on Sanada to score the pinfall.

- After the match, Cody Rhodes calls out Brian Danielson, aka Smackdown Live GM Daniel Bryan to a match in ROH.

** War of the Worlds UK Night #3 **
ROH concluded their triple threat tour of the United Kingdom with night #3 taking place live in Edinburgh, Scotland. The main event of the show saw Silas Young battle Jay Lethal in a Street Fight Match.

- Kenny King defeated Josh Bodom and Colt Cabana in a Triple Threat Match.

- The Briscoes defeated Ultimo Guerrero and Rey Bucanero.

- Bully Ray defeated Evil, by DQ.

- Tetsuya Naito, Sanada and Bushi defeated Mistico, Kushida and Titan in a Six Man Tag Team Match.

- Hiromu Takahashi defeated Mark Haskins.

- The Young Bucks and Hangman Page defeated Dalton Castle and The Boys to win the ROH Six Man Tag Team Championship.

- Cody Rhodes and Marty Scurll defeated The Addiction.

- Silas Young defeated Jay Lethal in an Street Fight Match.




*** Lucha Underground ***

** Lucha Underground TV Recap **
This week's show saw Prince Puma battle Pentagon Dark in The Cueto Cup Finals. Also Lucha Underground World Champion Johnny Mundo defended his title against Rey Mysterio.

- "Mask vs. Mask Match": Sexy Star vs. Veneno: The match closes out quickly as Joey Ryan hits the ring and rips off Veneno's mask, revealing Cortez Castro. Ryan and Castro brawl until Ryan hits a low blow and runs off.
Winner: No Contest.

- In Dario Cueto's office, Johnny Mundo and his agent interrupt. Mundo claims to feel unappreciated right now and could easily take other offers and leave Lucha Underground with the world title. Dario bans everyone from his world title match tonight and will fire anyone that gets involved. Mundo again threatens to leave Lucha Underground if anything ruins his night.

- "The Cueto Cup Tournament Finals Match": Prince Puma vs. Pentagon Dark: The match closes out with both men trading strikes. Puma counters the Package Piledriver, but ends up eating a palm strike from Pentagon. Both men head to the top rope and trade strikes. Puma ends up hitting a super hurricanrana on Pentagon Dark. Puma heads back to the top rope and hits the 630 Splash on Pentagon for the pinfall, to win the Cueto Cup.
Winner: Prince Puma, by pinfall.

- After the match, Vampiro celebrates with Puma as Dario Cueto awards Puma the Cueto Cup Trophy.

- "Lucha Underground World Championship Match": Johnny Mundo (c) vs. Rey Mysterio: The match closes out with Rey hitting a senton and a tornado DDT for a near fall. The referee goes down, Mundo kicks Rey below the belt, hits a suplex into a lumbar check and then grabs his title. Rey's son Dominic hits the ring, grabs the title away from Mundo and then spear tackles Mundo. Security chase off Dominic as Rey hits the 619 and springboard frog splash on Mundo. Rey covers, but Dario Cueto hits the ring and pulls the referee out of the ring, stopping the pinfall. Dario shoves Rey and says he's protecting his investment. Rey hits Cueto with a 619, laying out the boss. Mundo hits Rey with his title, hits End of the World and scores the pinfall to retain the title.
Winner: Johnny Mundo, by pinfall, to retain the Lucha Underground World Championship.
