Wrestling Lockup with Brandon, 10.1.15: TNA Impact

Wrestling Lockup with Brandon, brought to you by Triple Threat CLE. It's time for this week's TNA Impact recap for the week.

- This week's Impact took place at the Impact Zone in Orlando, Florida. Tonight's show served as the go home show to TNA Bound For Glory, live on Pay Per View, this Sunday. Some highlights to this weeks show: Mahabali Shera finally got his match against James Storm, in a No DQ Match. The Dollhouse battled The Beautiful People. The main event saw Ethan Carter and Tyrus team up to do battle with Matt Hardy and Drew Galloway. All that and a lot more.

- Ethan Carter Calls Out Aunt Dixie And Goes Face To Face With Drew Galloway: EC3 kicks off Impact with a promo. EC3 says he's not in a good mood, kicked Jeff Hardy to the curb, everyone is talking about Drew Galloway and isn't surprised that Aunt Dixie is cheerleading for Galloway. EC3 calls out Dixie and Dixie answers. Dixie says EC3 has been a great TNA World Heavyweight Champion, but outside the ring he acts like a child. Dixie says people talk about Galloway cause he fought for TNA against GFW. EC3 says he would have led TNA better and Galloway will never beat EC3. Drew Galloway interrupts and says he's been waiting a long time to tell EC3 to shut his bloody mouth, EC3 is a self centered bitch that didn't even stand up for TNA, Galloway will stand up for wrestling 24/7 and will destroy EC3. EC3 brags about being undefeated and brags about all the legends he's beaten. EC3 tells Galloway to stand down, but Galloway says he'll stand up and become the new TNA World Heavyweight Champion.

- Backstage, James Storm blames Mahabali Shera for the Revolution doubting Storm. Storm says he's a legend and he will cut down Shera.

- Backstage, Ethan Carter tells Aunt Dixie he's destroying Drew Galloway, he should be the face of TNA and after his match with Galloway at Bound For Glory he will end Galloway's career. Dixie doesn't understand why EC3 is acting like this.

- Mahabali Shera defeated James Storm, by pinfall, in a No DQ Match: The match closes out with Storm bringing a bottle of beer into the ring. Storm spits beer in referee Earl Hebner's face, blinding Hebner. Shera hits a spear, but can't get the pinfall with Hebner blinded. Storm cracks Shera with his cowbell and then hits an Irish Cross on Shera through a table, for a near fall. Storm grabs a piece of broken glass and measures up Shera to stab him with it. Abyss and Manik hit the ring and attack Storm. Abyss hits the Black Hole Slam and Manik hits the frog splash on Storm. Shera is back up, plants Storm with the Sky High and scores the pinfall.

- Backstage, Dixie Carter announces Ethan Carter and Tyrus vs. Matt Hardy and Drew Galloway for tonight. If Hardy wins he'll be added to the TNA World Heavyweight Championship Match at Bound For Glory against EC3 and Galloway.

- Bobby Roode Announces A TNA King Of The Mountain Open Challenge For Bound For Glory: Bobby Roode is in the ring for a promo. Roode mentions all of his accomplishments in TNA. Roode announces an open challenge for his TNA King of the Mountain Championship at Bound For Glory. Roode will defend the title with honor and respect and prove why he's the "It Factor". Bobby Lashley interrupts Roode and goes face to face. Lashley says he respects Roode, agrees he's one of the best, wants to win as many TNA championships as possible and challenges Roode for a title shot. Roode accepts Lashley as his open challenge opponent at Bound For Glory.

- Backstage, Taryn Terrell says Angelina Love is out of the equation and now it's time for The Dollhouse to take out Velvet Sky.

- Trevor Lee defeated DJ Z and Tomasso Ciampa, by pinfall, in a Triple Threat Match: The match closes out with DJ Z missing the slingshot DDT and Ciampa capitalizes by hitting Project Ciampa for a near fall. DJ Z hits a springboard dropkick sending Ciampa to the floor. Lee hits a spinning crossbody on DJ Z, covers and scores the pinfall.

- Backstage, The Beautiful People mock The Dollhouse. Angelina Love says she's not afraid of Jade. Velvet Sky says they're not afraid of any of them. BP reformed for the good of the Knockout's Division and will go old school and rid the world of the ugly people.

- The Dollhouse defeated The Beautiful People, by pinfall: The match closes out with Madison hitting a power bomb for a near fall. Velvet sends Jade to the floor and follows. Jade tosses Velvet into the steel steps and grabs a steel chair. Jade swings and misses as Velvet moves out of the way. Meanwhile in the ring, Rebel secretly throws powder in Madison's face, behind the referee's back. Marti rolls Madison up and scores the pinfall.

- Backstage, Ethan Carter calls the World Title situation crap, Tyrus is a winner by association, Dixie Carter used to be a winner, Matt Hardy is a weed that keeps coming back, Drew Galloway will lose and Dixie will not end EC3's reign as champion.

- Brooke Tessmacher Promo: Brooke wants the Knockout's Championship back badly, she represents the Knockout's Division and promises this isn't the last we've seen of her.

- Gail Kim Promo: Gail mentions the legacy she has with Awesome Kong, Gail is the first ever Knockout's Champion and will make history when she defeats Awesome Kong at Bound For Glory.

- Eric Young Dares The TNA Locker Room To Prove Him Wrong: Eric Young is angry that Chris Melendez beat him last week with help from his friends and dares anyone to try to take EY out. Robbie E hits the ring first, but gets low blowed by EY. EY attacks Robbie and yells at the fans until Chris Melendez hits the ring. Melendez and EY go at it, until EY lands a back suplex. EY grabs a steel chair, swings and misses Melendez. Melendez has the steel chair now and EY retreats. Mr. Anderson appears on stage. Anderson says there are like 25 people that want to kick EY's ass and he's one of them. Anderson attacks EY and sends him back toward the ring. EY gets tossed into the ring and eats a Boom Drop from Robbie E, a Stunner from Melendez and a Mic Check from Anderson. EY falls to the floor as the trio celebrate.

- Backstage, Matt Hardy is excited to get another shot at Ethan Carter for the World Title with a win tonight. Galloway promises it'll happen but also promises that Galloway will leave Bound For Glory the new World Champion. Both agree to take care of business tonight then settle it at Bound For Glory.

- Backstage, Dixie Carter tells Eric Young he'll face a returning Kurt Angle at Bound For Glory.

- Matt Hardy and Drew Galloway defeated Ethan Carter and Tyrus, by pinfall: The match closes out with Galloway getting the hot tag and unloads on EC3. Galloway hits an elbow and a belly to belly for a near fall. Hardy takes out Tyrus with a Twist Of Fate. Galloway charges and hits the running knee on Tyrus, covers and scores the pinfall. Matt Hardy wins the right to compete in the World Title Match, making it a Triple Threat Match. After the match, Dixie Carter arrives and announces that Jeff Hardy will be the Special Guest Referee also in the TNA World Heavyweight Championship Match at Bound for Glory. This closes out this weeks Impact.
