*** Weekend Flashback ***

This past Tuesday, WWE released a new DVD entitled "True Giants". The DVD includes matches involving some of the bigger superstars that have competed in wrestling. This week's flashback will be one of the matches that you can actually get on the three disc collection. WWE World Heavyweight Champion, Bret "The Hitman" Hart defends the title against "Psycho" Sid Vicious.

*** WWE News and Rumors ***

- For what it's worth, WWE, posted the following on their website this week for CM Punk. "WWE wishes Phil Brooks (aka CM Punk) the best of luck in his newest endeavor." Whether it was sincere or not, no one knows. Incase you missed the announcement last weekend, CM Punk, has signed a UFC contract and will compete in the octagon in 2015.

- Undertaker has been added to the Wrestlemania 31 advertising poster. There however has not been any word on if Undertaker is in fact wrestling at this year's event or not.

- The Rock may not be apart of Wrestlemania 31 this year. The Rock has a big movie schedule planned for the first half of 2015, which looks to not open any opportunity for a Wrestlemania 31 appearance.

- Unsure about The Undertaker and The Rock's Wrestlemania 31 status, WWE are looking at going with Triple H vs. Sting at the event.  Original plans were Triple H vs. The Rock and Sting vs. The Undertaker.

- There has also been talk of a Bray Wyatt vs. The Undertaker match at Wrestlemania 31.

- It appears Rey Mysterio will be re-signing with WWE after all. Rey is expected back on TV soon. Vince wants more top draws for the Hispanic market of fans, so many think Vince met a lot of Rey's requests. The deal will include a lot of outside the WWE advertising for Rey as well.

- WWE's Roman Reigns, got married last weekend on the beach at Disney's Castaway Cay.

- NXT Women's Champion, Charlotte Flair, made her RAW debut this past Monday.

- Former NXT World Tag Team Champions, The Ascension, Konnor and Viktor, will be making there debut soon. Smackdown has started playing videos advertising the tag team.

- Edge and Christian are being advertised for the December 29th RAW. Possibly in RAW GM roles.

- Former TNA wrestler, Crimson, has been working out at the WWE Performance Center and was also backstage at this past Thursday's NXT pay per view.

- Former TNA Knockout, Brittany, who had just left TNA a few weeks ago, was spotted hanging out backstage at the NXT Takeover 2 pay per view on Thursday.

- Santino Marella had emergency surgery on his neck this week. It appears that his attempted comeback out of retirement will not happen now.

- WWE and Warner Brothers have come together and will be creating a new mobile game entitled "WWE Immortals". The new game will be similar to Mortal Kombat and Injustice: Gods Among Us. WWE Immortals will be available to download on all IPads, IPhones, IPod Touch and Android devices come 2015. (My only question is....if you do a fatality on John Cena, will he still kick out at two?)

- WWE have announced a new Chris Jericho DVD/Blu-Ray. It will be entitled "The Road Is Jericho: Epic Stories & Rare Matches from Y2J." Expect it in stores on March 10th of 2015.

*** TNA News and Rumors ***

- TNA President Dixie Carter, went to Twitter this week and stated that TNA will be rebranding the companies logo for the new year. The new logo will be revealed soon.

- Sources are saying that there is a possibility that TNA Impact might be aired on Netflix in 2015 as well as Destination America. Discovery, which owns the Destination America channel have been in talks with Netflix and it's possible it could happen. This is huge news for me because I do not get the Destination America channel but I do have Netflix.

- The first TNA Impact on Destination America, will be live. It will feature Bobby Roode defending the TNA World Heavyweight Championship against Bobby Lashley as the main event. Destination America also announced that after TNA Impact's debut show they will be moved to Friday night's after that.

- Austin Aries might be back on board with TNA. Aries' contract expired back in October and many thought Aries was finished with TNA. Rumor is Aries signed a new TNA contract and will be present when TNA returns in January on Destination America.

*** GFW News and Rumors ***

- Jeff Jarrett recently stated that GFW will not tape any TV events until early 2015. Jarrett stated that he needs to first sign a deal with a Las Vegas venue that will be GFW's home base.

- Jeff Jarrett recently was interviewed this week. Jarrett talked about WWE, WCW, his favorite matches, his new company GFW, Vince Mchahon and other things. You can read that here/

- GFW has released another new video advertising their pre-game show to Wrestle Kingdom 9. The show is a half hour long and gives a lot of good insight to New Japan wrestling and what we can expect.

*** Other Wrestling News ***

- Bully Ray was interviewed this week about life after TNA and his future. You can read that full interview here

- Former TNA Knockout and WWE Diva, Kharma/Awesome Kong, stated recently that if she was given the chance she would return to the WWE. When asked about TNA, Kharma, said she felt she already did enough in TNA, it probably wouldn't happen.

- David Ferrier, better known as Jimmy Del Ray in WWE and Jimmy Graffiti in WCW, passed away this past weekend, due to what is believed to be a heart attack. He was only 52. Ferrier, was one half of The Heavenly Bodies tag team, managed by Jim Cornette. The Heavenly Bodies fueded with The Steiner Brothers and The Rock 'N' Roll Express.
