What a huge week for WWE action! A live RAW on Monday, a live Smackdown on Tuesday and here we are again with another special edition of Wrestling Lockup with Brandon. This edition is all about last night's Tribute to the Troops special. Last night's Tribute to the Troops took place in Columbus, Georgia. The show consisted of Dean Ambrose facing Bray Wyatt in a "Boot Camp Match". The Usos took on Goldust and Stardust. Divas in action and a huge eight man tag team main event. Let's get to last night's action!!
- In Ring Segment with Hulk Hogan, The Miz and John Cena: The Hulkster is in the ring with a huge American flag to kick off the show. Hogan says that when he sees all the brave faces in the crowd it makes him proud to live in America....brother. Hogan continues to thank our soldiers when he's interrupted by The Miz and Damien Sandow. Miz somehow thinks of himself as a soldier just because he starred in The Marine 3 and tells Hogan he's welcome. Miz says everyone should be honored by his performance in the movie. John Cena comes out to the ring. Cena apologizes for Miz's stupidity, when he thinks of toughness he thinks of the U.S. Military, when he thinks of Miz he thinks of Ryan Seacrest. The Miz and Cena go back and forth talking more about the military, Cena being jealous, Miz beating Cena at Wrestlemania 27 and Miz sucking. Miz hears enough and swings at Cena. Cena blocks and sends Miz to the floor. Sandow mimicks the whole thing and throws himself out of the ring. Seth Rollins, Kane, Luke Harper, Big Show and The Stooges make their way to the ring and surround Cena and Hogan. Hogan and Cena start swinging on their enemies. Dolph Ziggler, Erick Rowan and Ryback hit the ring to make the save.
Goldust sends Jey to the floor early. Jey punches Goldust as Stardust is tagged in next. Jey works on Stardust then tags in Jimmy. Jimmy hits a leg drop for a near fall. Jimmy sends Goldust to the floor. The Usos double clothesline Stardust and he goes to the floor with his brother. The Usos fly over the ropes and take out the bizarre brothers. Stardust regains control and works over Jey and scores a near fall. Goldust tags in and works over Jey next. Jey finally fights off the Rhodes brothers and hot tags Jimmy. Jimmy takes out both brothers and Jey hits a flying plancha on Goldust. Stardust hits a springboard kick on Jimmy for a near fall. Jimmy hits Stardust with a corkscrew senton for a near fall. The Usos hit double super kicks and then the "Superfly Splash" to score the pinfall.
- "Santa’s Little Helper Divas Battle Royal": We get a Diva dance off go down right in the middle of this match. The final four come down to Nikki Bella, Brie Bella, Naomi and Nattie Neidhart. Brie goes to baseball slide Naomi, but misses and ends up on the floor, eliminated. Nattie and Nikki go at it next but both get shoved to the floor by Naomi, giving Naomi the victory.
- "Boot Camp Match": Dean Ambrose vs. Bray Wyatt: Ambrose hits Wyatt with a backpack, a forearm then a drop kick. Wyatt scrapes Ambrose's face against the ropes then chokes him with the ropes. Ambrose fights back and drops Wyatt with a bulldog, sending Wyatt to the floor. Ambrose flies through the ropes and connects with a suicide dive. Ambrose tosses Wyatt into the ring post then sends him head first into an ammo case. Ambrose tosses some chairs in the ring as Wyatt grabs a kendo stick. Wyatt unloads on Ambrose on the head, ribs, back and the throat with the kendo stick. Wyatt sends Ambrose into a wedged chair in the corner. Wyatt with a kendo stick cross body block. Wyatt comes off the turnbuckles with the kendo stick but Ambrose dodges the blow with a shot to Wyatt's gut. Ambrose unloads kendo stick shots then hits the kendo stick leg sweep on Wyatt. Ambrose leaps off the turnbuckles with a chair in hand and drives into Wyatt with an elbow for a near fall. Ambrose sets up a table in the ring, but Wyatt puts Ambrose through it for a near fall. Bray Wyatt gets in Sgt. Slaughter's face at ringside. Wyatt sets up the table as Slaughter takes his boot off. Slaughter gives Ambrose his boot and Ambrose nails Wyatt with it. Ambrose puts Wyatt on the table then leaps off the turnbuckles and elbow drops Wyatt through the table. Ambrose covers and scores the pinfall.
Says it's their honor to be in our presence, has crushed everyone, has proven dominance of mother Russia, U.S. soldiers disappoint them and we should all kneel to Vladimir Putin. Daniel Bryan's music hits and out comes Bryan. Bryan says no matter the circumstances America doesn't back down, we fight and if Rusev and Lana don't like it then go back to Russia. Lana and Rusev call Bryan a little American troll. Bryan says they can fight right now, in front of everyone in this arena, they're not just challenging Bryan but everyone in the arena. A few soldiers jump the barricade and a few drop from the ceiling and get on the apron. Bryan gets in the ring to fight but Rusev and Lana leave.
- "Eight Man Tag Team Match": Ryback, Erick Rowan, John Cena, and Dolph Ziggler vs. Seth Rollins, Big Show, Kane, and Luke Harper: Ryback and Rollins start things off. Ryback hits a couple shoulders on Rollins for a near fall. Rowan tags in and splashes Rollins for a near fall. Ziggler in next hits Rollins with a neck breaker and the leaping elbow for a near fall. Harper and Ryback are tagged in next. Ryback drops Harper with a suplex for a near fall. The match continues and we have all eight men get involved at once starting a brawl. Show and Kane work over Ziggler next. Kane hits Ziggler with a suplex for a near fall. Kane next hits a side slam on Ziggler for a near fall. Rollins is in and working over Ziggler, while mocking Cena and getting Cena worked up. Ziggler hits a "Famasser" on Rollins out of nowhere and both men are out. Cena gets tagged in and goes Super Cena on Harper. Cena hits "Five Knuckle Shuffle" then goes for "AA" but Rollins distracts. Cena locks Harper in the "STF" but Kane breaks it up. Ryback press slams Rollins into The Stooges while Rowan spin kicks Kane. Show choke slams Ryback. Ziggler lands a super kick on Show. Cena "AA's" Show and then Harper. Cena covers Harper for the pinfall. After the match, Hulk Hogan comes down and celebrates with the good guys as Tribute to the Troops closes out.
And that was last night's special Tribute to the Troops show. In closing I just want to send a very big THANK YOU to every single man and woman that has or still is serving our country. Without you all watching our backs and keeping us safe, America would be a very scary place to live in. Again THANK YOU, keep doing what you're doing for us and stay safe.
