- Length Of Goldberg vs. Brock Lesnar At Wrestlemania 33: Sources are stating that the Goldberg vs. Brock Lesnar match at Wrestlemania 33 will be the main event and is expected to be another squash match. This time, however, Lesnar is expected to finally make quick work of Goldberg and leave the new WWE Universal Champion.

- Rusev Surgery: F4Wonline.com confirmed that Rusev underwent shoulder surgery last week. It has yet to be determined how long Rusev will be on the DL for.

- Erick Rowan Update: Erick Rowan has been officially cleared to return to wrestling and was backstage at Smackdown Live this past week. No word on when Rowan will make his TV return.

- Jack Swagger Officially Released: Two weeks ago, Jack Swagger announced that he had asked for his WWE release, due to not being used on TV anymore or having any future storylines in the works. WWE officially announced on Monday afternoon that they have granted Swagger his release.

- Wrestlemania 34 Plans: We're a few weeks away from Wrestlemania 33 and the WWE is already working out plans for their main event for next year's show. As of right now WWE is looking at having Brock Lesnar vs. Roman Reigns at Wrestlemania 34 for the WWE Universal Championship. On a side note, Lesnar will be working a few extra dates throughout 2017 as he is now entering the last year of his 3 year contract he signed.

- John Cena Inducting Kurt Angle: WWE announced this week that John Cena will be the superstar to induct Kurt Angle into the WWE Hall of Fame Class of 2017 next month during Wrestlemania weekend.


** 205 Live Recap **
This week's show main evented with a Fatal Five Way Elimination Match to determine who would move on to battle WWE Cruiserweight Champion Neville at Wrestlemania 33.

1.) Neville Promo: Neville says he's in the very building that he broke his leg in last year, missed Wrestlemania, no one even cared and he was forgotten by everyone. Mustafa Ali interrupts, walks right past Neville and heads to the ring for his match. Neville walks backstage completely disrespected by Ali.

2.) Mustafa Ali vs. Drew Gulak: The match closes out with Ali hitting a tornado DDT on Gulak and then hitting the Inverted 450 Splash off the top rope for the pinfall. After the match, Gulak grabs a microphone and says he's sick of giving his all in 205 Live for nothing, it's time for things to change.

3.) Noam Dar and Ariya Daivari vs. Jack Gallagher and Rich Swann: The match closes out with Swann hitting a hurricanrana on Daivari. Dar is the legal man in the match, drills Swann with a Shining Wizard and scores the pinfall. After the match, Dar presents Alicia Fox with another present.

4.) "#1 Contenders Fatal Five Way Elimination Match": Austin Aries vs. Akira Tozawa vs. Tony Nese vs. The Brian Kendrick vs. TJ Perkins:

** First Elimination: Nese charges at Perkins, going for the Running Kneese. Perkins counters, traps Nese in the cross arm breaker submission and makes Nese tap out.

** Second Elimination: After the elimination, Nese attacks Perkins with a clothesline. Tozawa dumps Nese to the floor and misses Kendrick take advantage of him. Kendrick hits Sliced Bread #2 on Tozawa and scores the pinfall.

** Third Elimination: Perkins measures up Aries for the Detonation Kick, but Kendrick grabs Perkins. Perkins still attempts the move, but both Aries and Kendrick fall on top of Perkins. During the fall, Kendrick is able to cover and steal a pinfall on Perkins.

** Final Elimination: Kendrick and Perkins have a mini brawl after the elimination. Aries connects on Perkins with the Rolling Elbow, but he was aiming for Kendrick. Kendrick gets a near fall Sliced Bread #2 on Aries. Kendrick is able to trap Aries in the Captain's Hook submission, but Aries is able to reach the ropes and escape. Kendrick tries to reapply the Captain's Hook submission, but Aries lands an elbow to the face of Kendrick. Aries connects with the Rolling Elbow on Kendrick and scores the pinfall to become the new #1 Contender.



*** NXT ***

- Aleister Black Debuting Soon: If you've been missing NXT the past few weeks, there have been vignettes of the soon to be debuting Aleister Black, which will be the new gimmick for independent wrestling star Tommy End. Black is expected to debut after Wrestlemania 33 weekend.

- Heavy Machinery Returning: Tucker Knight and Otis Dozovic, aka the team of Heavy Machinery, are expected to make their NXT return at either NXT Takeover: Orlando or at the NXT shows after Wrestlemania 33 weekend.


*** Impact Wrestling ***

** Impact Wrestling Recap **
After having to return the Impact World Championship to Bobby Lashley, due to controversy, Alberto El Patron battled Ethan Carter in a #1 Contenders Match.

1.) Alberto El Patron Promo: Patron says he's loving it in Impact Wrestling because he doesn't have to pretend to be someone he's not. Patron proved last week that he could be champion, but he had to hand the Impact World Championship back to Bobby Lashley, due to the dusty finish. Patron calls out Lashley, but Ethan Carter arrives instead. EC3 says Patron needs to earn things around here and he needs to beat EC3 before he earns anything. Patron says sorry, but EC3 is no Lashley, that's who Patron wants. Patron wants the Big Dog not the Bitch. EC3 shoves Patron and a brawl breaks out that requires Impact Security to separate them.

2.) A video is shown of Impact Management together and discussing what should be done about the Impact World Tag Team Championship. Bruce Prichard says he has an idea.

3.) Eli Drake and Tyrus vs. Garza Jr. and Laredo Kid: The match closes out with Drake accidentally decking Tyrus, swinging for Garza. Drake takes control of Garza and tells Tyrus to tag him. Tyrus refuses, leading to Garza getting the rollup pinfall on Drake. After the match, tension between Drake and Tyrus build.

4.) Kayci Quinn vs. Brandi Rhodes: Cody Rhodes stops the match and says Impact Wrestling will not pimp out the Rhodes name any longer unless Cody gives the ok. Brandi tells Cody to stop it, but Cody pays Kayci $45 for Impact wasting her time. Cody says he knows Moose is still in Japan, but he wants Moose and his Impact Grand Championship. Cody grabs Brandi and forces her to leave with him.

5.) Rosemary appears and viciously attacks Kayci Quinn, laying Kayci out with the Red Wedding.



6.) "#1 Contenders Match": Alberto El Patron vs. Ethan Carter: The match closes out with EC3 connecting with two TK3's on Patron. EC3 grabs a steel chair and goes to use it on Patron, has second thoughts and throws the chair back outside. Patron pops up, hits an armbreaker and then plants a kick to the head of EC3. Patron locks EC3 in the cross arm breaker submission. EC3 tries to reach the ropes, but can't quite do it and ends up tapping out. After the match, Patron hypes EC3 with respect and shakes EC3's hand.

7.) "Impact X Division Championship, Fatal Four Way Match": Trevor Lee (c) vs. Suicide vs. Andrew Everett vs. Braxton Sutter: The match closes out with Sutter in control on Lee after a Tower of Doom from the top rope by all four men. Laurel Van Ness appears at ringside still in her wedding dress and eating wedding cake. Laurel tries to grab Allie as Sutter stops her. Sutter tells Laurel to leave as he gets back into the ring. Lee connects with a flying knee on Sutter and scores the pinfall, to retain his title. After the match, Sienna appears and tells Allie that the first time she sleeps with Sutter will be when they're both in hospital beds.



8.) Bruce Prichard Promo: Prichard says that tag team titles are lost in a ring, not in space or on the internet. Prichard announces that in two weeks there will be four teams competing to win the now vacant Impact World Tag Team Championship. The Decay interrupt and demand to be handed the titles, since they were the ones that rescued the titles from space and time. Reno Scum interrupt next and make their case on why they should be the tag team champions. Garza Jr. and Laredo Kid interrupt next and also demand a title shot. All three teams begin to brawl as the returning team of The Latin American Exchange, or simply LAX, hit the ring and attack The Decay. LAX hit a corner cannonball and the Gringo Killer leaving The Decay laid out. LAX cover The Decay's bodies with their Mexican flags and announce that they are back to end the show.

- Impact To Tape In India: Impact Wrestling announced this week that they will be filming episodes for Impact on May 30th and 31st which will lead up to Impact Wrestling's Slammiversary pay per view. This will be Impact Wrestling's first time touring in India.


*** RING OF HONOR ***

** ROH TV Recap **
This week's show took place before the 15th Anniversary Show this past Friday night. The main event of the show saw War Machine battle BJ Whitmer and Punishment Martinez in a No DQ Match.

1.) The Young Bucks vs. Shaheem Ali and Leon St. Giovanni: The match closes out with Matt hitting a thrust kick on Giovanni, sending Giovanni into the ropes. Nick connects on Giovanni with a super kick and follows that up with a Springboard 450 Splash. Matt covers and scores the pinfall. After the match, The Bucks mock The Broken Hardy's and continue to beat down their opponents. Matt hits a Twist of Fate on Ali and Nick hits a Swanton Bomb from the top rope. The Bucks get a "Delete, Suck It" chant started.

2.) Lio Rush Promo: Rush calls The Rebellion clowns and compares them to children because they play games. Kenny King interrupts and reminds Rush that The Rebellion tried to back Rush and support him. Now Rush is just a piece of trash that is ungrateful. King challenges Rush to a match next week.

3.) "Top Prospect Tournament
1st Round Match": "The Lone Star" Curt Stallion vs. Preston Quinn: The match closes out with Quinn hitting a spike piledriver and goes to the top rope. Quinn misses a big elbow drop and grabs his arm in pain. Stallion connects with a diving headbutt and scores the pinfall. Stallion advances to the Semi-Finals.

4.) Cody Rhodes Promo: Cody asks where Jay Lethal is and where he could have gone. Cody says that the Jay Lethal that was an ROH World and TV Champion at the same time is gone and all that's left is Lazy Jay. Cody invites Hangman Adam Page into the ring and points out the noose that Page carries with him. Cody gives us a Dusty Rhodes history lesson on what he used to do with cow bells and ropes. Cody goes on to challenge Jay Lethal to a Texas Bullrope Match at ROH Supercard of Honor in April.

5.) Dalton Castle vs. Jonathon Gresham: The match closes out with Gresham climbing the ropes and leaping at Castle. Castle catches Gresham in mid air, hits the Bang A Rang and scores the pinfall.

6.) "No DQ Match": War Machine vs. BJ Whitmer and Punishment Martinez: The match closes out with all four men down. Whitmer and Martinez are up first and double team Rowe. Martinez hits a springboard superman punch and Whitmer hits a exploder suplex for a near fall. War Machine hit a pop up powerslam on Martinez for a near fall. War Machine attempt to double choke slam Whitmer through a table, but he escapes. War Machine attempt Fallout on Whitmer, but he again escapes. War Machine chase Whitmer to the floor where Martinez leaps over the ringpost to the floor and wipes out War Machine. Martinez grabs a hold of Hanson on the top rope and hits a Super Chokeslam right through a table to score the pinfall. After the match, Martinez shockingly turns on Whitmer and choke slams him. Martinez stands over Whitmer's body to end the show.

** 15th Anniversary Show **

ROH's 15th Anniversary Show took place live in Las Vegas, Nevada. ROH World Champion Adam Cole defended his title against Christopher Daniels. ROH World Six Man Tag Team Champions The Kingdom defended their titles against Dalton Castle and The Boys. ROH Television Champion Marty Scurll defended his title against Lio Rush. ROH World Tag Team Champions The Broken Hardys defended their titles against The Young Bucks and Roppongi Vice in a Triple Threat Las Vegas Street Fight. All that and a lot more action.

1.) Jay White vs. Kenny King: The match closes out with King getting a rollup on White, but White counters the rollup with one of his own and scores the surprise pinfall.

2.) #1 Contenders, Six Way Dance Match For The ROH Television Championship": Silas Young vs. Cheeseburger vs. Punisher Martinez vs. Kazarian vs. Hangman Adam Page vs. Chris Sabin: The match closes out with Cheeseburger nailing a lariat for a near fall. Kazarian breaks up the pinfall and hits Ace of Spades on Cheeseburger to score the pinfall, making Kazarian the #1 Contender to the ROH Television Championship.

3.) Jay Lethal vs. Bobby Fish: The match closes out with Lethal getting a near fall with Hail to the King. Fish hits an enziguri, but gets dropped with a Lethal second rope cutter. Fish counters the Lethal Injection and unloads kicks. Lethal counters and hits the Lethal Injection to score the pinfall.

4.) "ROH World Six Man Tag Team Championship Match": The Kingdom (c) vs. Dalton Castle and The Boys: The match closes out with TK O’Ryan countering Castle's Bang A Rang and gets a near fall roll up. O'Ryan takes out The Boys with a springboard moonsault and crashes hard into the barricade. Tavern hits the Supernova on one of The Boys, scores the pinfall and retains the titles. After the match, O'Ryan gets medical attention after crashing into the barricade.

5.) "ROH Television Championship Match": Marty Scurll (c) vs. Lio Rush: The match closes out with Rush missing Rush Hour off the top rope and out to the floor on Scurll. Scurll hits the Tower of London, but Rush kicks out at two and a half. Scurll traps Rush in the chicken wing submission and beats on Rush’s injured shoulder while trapped in the submission. Rush finally taps out and Scurll retains the title.

6.) "Six Man Tag Team Match": The Briscoes and Bully Ray vs. War Machine and Davey Boy Smith Jr.: The match closes out with The Briscoes taking out Hanson, but Rowe comes in and lays out Mark with a suplex. Jay hits the skies and takes out everyone on the floor with a suicide dive. All six men brawl, as Jay hits the Jay Driller on Rowe and then Mark hits the Froggy Bow. The Briscoes and Bully Ray hit a Triple Teamed 3D on Hanson and score the pinfall. After the match, Davey Boy Smith Jr. and War Machine have issues with each other and begin to brawl. ROH Security hit the ring and try to separate the three men.

7.) "ROH World Tag Team Championship, Triple Threat, Las Vegas Street Fight Match": The Broken Hardy's (c) vs. The Young Bucks vs. Roppongi Vice: The match closes out with Romero putting on a sleeve covered in thumb tacks and hits clotheslines on everyone. RPG with Strong Zero for a near fall. Baretta dumps thumb tacks on the mat, but eats a super kick party from The Bucks and then planted face first right on the thumb tacks. Baretta gets thumb tacks shoved in his mouth and then hit with another super kick. The Bucks hit the Meltzer Driver on Romero on top of the thumb tacks and get a near fall. Broken Matt hits the Twist Of Fate on top of the thumb tacks, taking out The Bucks. Broken Matt and Jeff set up a table and ladder in the ring. Matt tosses Baretta onto the table and Jeff hits the Swanton Bomb off the ladder and onto Baretta, crashing through the table. Jeff covers, scores the pinfall and The Broken Hardy's retain their titles. After the match, The Broken Hardy's steal The Young Bucks' Super Kick Championship titles, escape backstage and claim the titles as their own.

8.) "ROH World Championship Match": Adam Cole (c) vs. Christopher Daniels: During the match, Cole lands a super kick that sends Daniels into the ring post and busted Daniels open bad throughout the match. The match closes out with Cole hitting Angels Wings for a near fall. Daniels counters the next move and hits Cole with his own Last Shot finisher for a near fall. Daniels counters a Cole super kick and hits the Styles Clash for a near fall. Cole accidentally superkicks the referee and the referee falls to the floor. Kazarian hits the ring, grabs Daniels and holds him as Cole goes to hit Daniels with the world title. Daniels avoids the blow and Kazarian begs Cole to give him the title so he can hit Daniels with it. Cole hands the title to Kazarian, who measures Daniels for the hit.
Kazarian, however, pulls a swerve, throws the title outside, gives Cole the bird, rips off his Bullet Club shirt and reveals an Addiction shirt. Daniels catches Cole distracted by Kazarian's turn and hits three straight Best Moonsault Ever. Daniels scores the pinfall as the referee comes to and wins the title. After the match, Daniels and Kazarian celebrate together as the ROH locker room empties out to congratulate Daniels on his only ROH World Championship in the company's 15 years of existence to end the show.


- Impact Wrestling Sends A Cease And Desist To ROH: This past week at ROH's 15th Anniversary Show, ROH received a cease and desist letter from Impact Wrestling demanding ROH not to use The Broken Hardys gimmick or else they would be sued. ROH followed through with Impact Wrestling's demands as they referred to The Broken Hardy's as just The Hardy's and called the match calling them Matt and Jeff Hardy instead of Broken Matt and Brother Nero. Matt and Jeff also cooperated as they didn't do any of their Broken Hardy mannerisms or sayings.

- Netflix Arrival: If you're having that withdrawal of Lucha Underground wrestling until the second half of season 3 kicks off, than head over to Netflix as they have finally begun streaming the first 2 seasons of the cult wrestling show.

** New Japan Cup Night #1 Recap **
NJPW began its annual New Japan Cup 16 Man Tournament to crown this year's New Japan Cup winner.

1.) El Desperado and Taka Michinoku defeated Hirai Kawato and Ryusuke Taguchi, by pinfall, after Kawato got taken out with a spinning side slam.

2.) "Six Man Tag Team Match": Jushin Thunder Liger and TenKoji defeated Manabu Nakanishi, Tiger Mask IV and Tomoyuki Oka, by pinfall, after Koji hit a lariat on Oka.

3.) Kenny Omega and Yujiro Takahashi defeated Tomohiro Ishii and Yoshi-Hashi, by pinfall, after Omega hit the V Trigger and the One Winged Angel.

4.) "Eight Man Tag Team Match": BUSHI, SANADA, Hiromu Takahashi and Tetsuya Naito defeated David Finlay, Juice Robinson, Katsuyori Shibata and KUSHIDA, by submission, after SANADA made Finlay tap out to Skull End.

5.) "Eight Man Tag Team Match": Gedo, Hirooki Goto, Jado and Kazuchika Okada defeated Minoru Suzuki, Takashi Iizuka, Taichi and Yoshinobu Kanemaru, by pinfall, after Okada hit the Rainmaker on Taichi.

6.) "New Japan Cup First Round Match": Yuji Nagata defeated Tanga Roa, by pinfall, after hitting a back drop driver on Roa. Nagata advances to the Quarter-Finals.

7.) "New Japan Cup First Round Match": Toru Yano defeated Tama Tonga, by pinfall, after landing a low blow and then rolling up Tonga for the win. Yano advances to the Quarter-Finals.

8.) "New Japan Cup First Round Match": Bad Luck Fale defeated Michael Elgin, by pinfall, after hitting the Grenade on Elgin. Fale advances to the Quarter-Finals.

9.) "New Japan Cup First Round Match": EVIL defeated Hiroshi Tanahashi, by pinfall, after EVIL spit mist at Tanahashi and then hit the STO for the win. EVIL advances to the Quarter-Finals.

** New Japan Cup Night #2 Recap **
NJPW began its annual New Japan Cup 16 Man Tournament to crown this year's New Japan Cup winner.

1.) Jushin Thunder Liger and Yuji Nagata defeated David Finlay and Tiger Mask, by submission, after Nagata made Tiger Mask tap out to an armbar.

2.) "Six Man Tag Team Match": Tama Tonga, Tanga Loa and Bad Luck Fale defeated Hiroyoshi Tenzan, Satoshi Kojima and Hirai Kawato, by pinfall after Loa hit a Samoan Driver on Kawato.

3.) "Eight Man Tag Team Match": Tetsuya Naito, EVIL, Bushi and Hiromu Takahashi defeated Michael Elgin, Hiroshi Tanahashi, Kushida and Ryusuke Taguchi, by pinfall after EVIL hit the STO on Taguchi.

4.) "Ten Man Tag Team Match": Jado, Gedo, Toru Yano, Hirooki Goto and Kazuchika Okada defeated Taka Michinoku, El Desperado, Taichi, Yoshinobu Kanemaru and Takashi Iizuka, by pinfall, after Yano low blowed Iizuka and scored the roll up pinfall.

5.) "New Japan Cup First Round Match": Juice Robinson defeated Yujiro Takahashi, by pinfall, hitting Pulp Friction. Robinson advances to the Quarter-Finals.

6.) "New Japan Cup First Round Match": Sanada defeated Yoshi-Hashi, by submission, after Sanada locked in Skull End on Yoshi for the tap out victory. Sanada advances to the Quarter-Finals.

7.) "New Japan Cup First Round Match": Katsuyori Shibata defeated Minoru Suzuki, by pinfall, after hitting the PK. Shibata advances to the Quarter-Finals.

NJPW's week long New Japan Cup continued with the Quarter-Finals beginning.

1.) El Desperado and Taka Michinoku defeated Hirai Kawato and Jushin Thunder Liger.

NJPW's week long New Japan Cup continued with the Quarter-Finals beginning.

1.) "Six Man Tag Team Match": Michael Elgin, David Finlay and Tomoyuki Oka defeated Hiroyoshi Tenzan, Satoshi Kojima and Katsuya Kitamura

2.) "Six Man Tag Team Match": Jushin Thunder Liger, Tiger Mask IV and Katsuya Kitamura defeated Takashi Iizuka, El Desperado and Taka Michinoku.

3.) Bad Luck Fale and Yujiro Takahashi defeated Katsuyori Shibata and Yuji Nagata.

4.) "Six Man Tag Team Match": Minoru Suzuki, Yoshinobu Kanemaru and Taichi defeated Hirooki Goto, Jado and Gedo.

5.) "Eight Man Tag Team Match": Hiroshi Tanahashi, Juice Robinson, KUSHIDA and Ryusuke Taguchi defeated Tetsuya Naito, EVIL, BUSHI and Hiromu Takahashi

6.) "New Japan Cup Quarter-Finals Match": Tomohiro Ishii defeated SANADA, to advance to the Semi-Finals.

AAW The Chaos Theory took place live in LaSalle, Illinois at the Knights of Columbus Hall. The main event saw AAW World Champion Sami Callihan defend his title against Rey Fenix.

1.) Dezmond Xavier and Zachary Wentz defeated Mat Fitchett and Davey Vega.

2.) Jessicka Havok defeated Samantha Heights.

3.) Ethan Page defeated KRUGAR.

4.) "Triple Threat Match": CJ Esparza and Brett Gakiya defeated Ace Perry and Paco Gonzalez and Louis Lyndon and Stephen Wolf.

5.) AR Fox defeated JT Dunn.

6.) Brubaker defeated Arik Cannon.

7.) Kody Rice and Bucky Collins defeated Mike Hartenbower and Space Monkey.

8.) "AAW Heritage Championship Match" ACH (c) defeated Dezmond Xavier, to retain the title.

9.) "AAW World Championship Match": Sami Callihan (c) defeated Rey Fenix, to retain the title.





*** SHINE ***

** SHINE 41 Recap **
The main event of the show saw SHINE World Champion LuFisto defend her title against Lucha Underground's Ivelisse.

1.) "Sparkle Showcase Match": Aria Blake defeated Lindsay Snow, by pinfall, with a bridging backslide pin.

2.) It's announced that Tessa Blanchard is stuck in England, so she'll be replaced by Brandi Lauren tonight.

3.) Aerial Monroe defeated Priscilla Kelly, by pinfall, with Dirty Dancing. After the match, Malia Hosaka arrives and tells Priscilla to go back to school and learn some respect.

4.) Malia Hosaka defeated Angel Rose, by pinfall, with a victory roll. After the match, Priscilla Kelly hits the ring and decides to challenge Malia to a match at SHINE 42 in May. Malia accepts and both ladies begin to brawl until they're separated.

5.) Thea Trinidad defeated Brandi Lauren, by pinfall, with a moonsault.

6.) "Fatal Four Way Match": ACR defeated Dynamite DiDi, Jayme Jameson, and Leva Bates, by pnfall, with a roundhouse kick on DiDi.

7.) Su Yung defeated Candy Cartwright, by pinfall, with Panic Switch.

8.) "SHINE World Tag Team Championship Match": Chelsea Green and Santana (c) defeated Kennadi Brink and Vanessa Kraven, by pinfall, with the Shining Star Press from Santana on Brink, to retain the titles.

9.) Allysin Kay vs. Mercedes Martinez wrestled to a time limit draw.

10.) "SHINE World Championship Match": LuFisto (c) defeated Ivelisse, by pinfall, with the Burning Hammer to retain the title.

11.) LuFisto Promo: LuFisto brags about how great it is to be the champion and how great it feels to be a winner. The lights suddenly go out and two women appear handing an envelope to LuFisto. The letter invites LuFisto to a Red Wedding at Mercury Rising. The lights go out again and when they return, Su Yang is in the ring, face to face with LuFisto. Blood suddenly falls from the ceiling and freaks LuFisto out who runs from the ring to end the show.
