Welcome back to another edition of Wrestling Lockup with Brandon, brought to you by Triple Threat Podcast. Today's edition is the TNA Impact recap from last night's show. Before we get into this week's recap, TNA announced that they will be moving TNA Impact to Wednesday nights, starting next week. Alright now on to this week's recap. Last week we finally seen the end of Team Dixie as she was driven through a table by Bully Ray at the end of the show. Samoa Joe won the finals of the Triple Threat X Division Tournament and was crowned the new TNA X Division Champion. What would TNA have in store this week? Read the recap and find out!

- Last night's show took place from the city of hardcore, New York City. Bully Ray makes his way to the ring to cut a promo. Bully says it's great knowing Dixie Carter is gone and thanks everyone. Bully's Team 3D partner, Devon, makes his way to the ring. Devon talks about how they rid TNA of Dixie when suddenly The Hardy Boys arrive. Matt says it's been a long time since both teams were in the same ring together. Both teams talk about their past history together and we have a match set up tonight as a reward to the fans.

- "#1 Contender’s Elimination Match for the X Division Championship": Low Ki vs Manik vs Crazy Steve vs Homicide vs Tigre Uno vs DJ Z: Uno hits Steve with a springboard splash for the pinfall, eliminating Steve. Manik hits a cradle slam on Uno for the pinfall, eliminating Uno. Manik gets eliminated next as DJ Z uses the ropes for leverage for the pinfall. DJ Z tries to talk his way out of a Homicide/Low Ki beating but takes it like a champ from the duo before receiving a "Gringo Killer" from Homicide for the pinfall, eliminating DJ Z. Homicide and Low Ki are the final two in the match. Homicide goes for the "Gringo Killer" but Low Ki escapes. Low Ki sends Homicide into the turnbuckles with a dropkick and hits the "Ki Krusher" for the pinfall. Low Ki gets a TNA X Division Championship Match against Samoa Joe.

- Rockstar Spud, Ethan Carter III and Rhino come out to the ring to cut a promo. Spud rips on the fans. ECIII is mad because the Carter family was hurt, the fans cheer and wants Bully Ray fired. Kurt Angle arrives and has the trio arrested as they refuse to wrestle tonight. Spud threatens to fight the police and has diplomatic immunity. Spud gets tossed to the mat and handcuffed. ECIII says he knows Carmelo Anthony, is the real wolf of wall street and throws money around. ECIII is handcuffed and he and Spud are escorted out by NYPD.

- Mr. Anderson vs Gunner: Samuel Shaw comes out and tries to talk to Anderson but gets attacked instead. Shaw attacks Anderson until Gunner tries to calm Shaw down.

- Abyss is out to the ring to cut a promo. Abyss says Bram has something that belongs to him. Bram and Magnus arrive and Bram has "Janice" in hand. Abyss asks for "her" back but Bram says "she" belongs to him now. Abyss asks for one last match that would involve different weapons that Abyss rattles off. And "Janice" will hang above the ring, first one to grab "her" can use "her". Bram accepts. Magnus mocks Abyss saying "Janice" screwed him twice and is probably the only "girl" to screw him. Abyss attacks Magnus and Bram and gets "Janice" back. Abyss swings it at Magnus but is taken down by Bram. Magnus and Bram escape to fight another day as Abyss vows to show them what a "bitch" "Janice" can be.

- Team 3D vs The Hardy Boys: The Hardy's hit the "Twist of Fate" and "Swanton Bomb" on Devon but Devon kicked out. Matt catches a "3D" and Team 3D score the pinfall. After the match Team 3D help the Hardy's back to their feet and they embrace and raise each others hands to close out Impact.

Wrestling Lockup with Brandon, 6.27.14: TNA Impact

Happy Friday everyone! Welcome to Wrestling Lockup with Brandon. This edition of Wrestling Lockup is the TNA recap edition. Last week on Impact, we saw a new TNA World Champion crowned and his name is Bobby Lashley! Tommy Dreamer answered Dixie Carter's invite to the show but was beat down by Rockstar Spud and Dixie's nephew Ethan Carter III. MVP abused his power and kicked everyone and their uncle out of the building. Magnus and Bram were paid off to beat up The Wolves. And Bobby Roode who has been sitting on the sidelines with a permanent suspension from MVP, arrived from the crowd and drew the line for the power trio to cross. What would this week have in store for us? Read on my friends.

The show kicks off with some Knockouts Tag Team action.

- Angelina Love and Velvet Sky vs Gail Kim and Taryn Terrell. Match closes out with Terrell climbing the ropes and hitting a cross body block on The Beautiful People. Gail Kim scores with "Eat Defeat" and the pinfall.

- MVP congratulates Bobby Lashley on his title win. MVP expects Eric Young to ask for his release now, however, Eric Young comes out and announces he's extended his contract with TNA so he can help take out the trash. EY hits the ring and we have a 3 on 1 brawl as MVP, Kenny King and Bobby Lashley attack EY. Bobby Roode jumps the guardrail and makes the save for EY, using MVP's crutches as a weapon.
Bobby Roode cuts a very good promo afterwards on he and EY helping build TNA as a company, MVP handing him a BS suspension, EY bringing respect and honor back to TNA, how he's going to help get the company back suspended or not and do it for the fans. MVP gets in Roode's face and is ready to fire him when a man named Earl Sullivan Armstrong steps into the ring and interrupts. Armstrong is apart of the TNA Board of Directors and announces that MVP has been relieved of his duties and his replacement will be here later. A now powerless MVP gets knocked out by Bobby Roode after this huge announcement.

- "Four Way, X-Division Title Match": Sanada (c) vs DJ Z vs Manik vs Crazy Steve. Match closes with Sanada hitting a double underhook suplex on DJ Z for the pinfall to retain the title.

- Dixie Carter is celebrating, thinking she has full control of TNA now with MVP out of the picture. Earl Sullivan Armstrong arrives to tell Dixie that there is a new person in charge but it's not her. Dixie is livid as Bully Ray appears. Dixie tries to bribe Bully with money but Bully isn't having it because he wants to put Dixie through a table. Ethan Carter III hits the ring but gets taken out by Bully. Bully grabs Dixie and puts her on his shoulders. Rockstar Spud runs in and moves the table. Dixie manages to escape with ECIII and avoids the table again.

- James Storm vs Mr. Anderson. Match closes out with Storm blocking the "Mic Check" and hitting the "Last Call" to score the pinfall.

- Gunner tells Samuel Shaw he is getting him released from his cell. Shaw has to have supervision and therapy, Gunner will be Shaw's sponsor.

- Tommy Dreamer shows up unannounced and attacks Ethan Carter III backstage. Dreamer and ECIII brawl throughout the backstage area and all the way out to the ring. Both men try to destroy each other until TNA Security rush the ring and separate both men.

- "Monster's Ball Match": Jeff "Willow" Hardy and Abyss vs Magnus and Bram. Match Highlights: Bram and Magnus beat down Hardy and Abyss with trash cans and kendo sticks. Hardy connects with a corner drop kick and chair shot on Bram, then places a trash can on Bram's head and drop kicks the can. Magnus connects with chair shots to Abyss. Abyss brings out "Janice" but gets the weapon stuck in the turn buckle while swinging it. Abyss gets handcuffed to the barricade by Bram allowing a 2 on 1 on Hardy. Abyss eventually breaks free and is back in the match. Hardy takes a chair shot to the head and crashes through a barbed wire board. The match closes out with Abyss laying out thumbtacks and choke slamming Magnus right on the tacks. Bram has "Janice" and hits Abyss right in the gut with the weapon and scores the pinfall.

- Kurt Angle is announced as the new Director of Operations. Angle gets interrupted by MVP who's mad about being replaced by Angle. MVP, Kenny King and Bobby Lashley threaten Angle but Angle threatens to fire them if they lay one finger on him. Kurt Angle announces that Eric Young will get his TNA World Title rematch against Bobby Lashley and he is officially reinstating Bobby Roode. Eric Young and Bobby Roode hit the ring and brawl with Kenny King and Bobby Lashley as Kurt Angle looks on as Impact comes to an end.

And that closes out this week's Impact recap. I will be back next Friday afternoon for another TNA Impact recap. Until then, tap or snap.

Wrestling Lockup with Brandon, 5.16.14: TNA Impact

Welcome back to Wrestling Lockup with Brandon. It's Friday, and it's TNA Impact recap time. Last week on Impact we saw MVP reveal to the world that he was the #1 Contender to Eric Young's TNA World Title. MVP attacked EY and put himself in the main event for the world title at Slammiversary. Kurt Angle appeared to have blown out his knee in his match with Ethan Carter III. Magnus' friend, Bram, viciously attacked Jeff "Willow" Hardy. Knux debuted with his carnival freak faction, The Menagerie. Mr. Anderson and James Storm would meet this week in one on one action.

Highlights of Impact:
- Eric Young tries to confront MVP as he arrived to the arena, however, security pulled EY away from MVP. EY says all MVP had to do was ask for a title shot instead of attacking him like he did. MVP says he'll let EY hold the title for a couple more weeks till he takes it from him. Later in the show, EY and MVP, begin brawling with each other backstage and down to the ring. MVP leaves EY laid out in the ring and tells EY he's defending the title tonight against MVP.
- Dixie and Rockstar Spud arrive at Dixie's house to find a table with her name on it in her yard. Bully Ray calls Dixie on her phone and claims to be in her house. Dixie orders Spud to go in and investigate cause she signs his paychecks. Bully calls back later to tell Dixie that Spud is a little tied up and she's all alone. Dixie finds Spud tied up and is finally face to face with Bully. Bully says he'll leave her alone and move on after she admits to the world that she fears Bully. Ethan Carter III knocks Bully out from behind and Dixie says that she fears no one.
- Jeff "Willow" Hardy looks to get revenge on Magnus and his friend, Bram, after Bram handcuffed and beat Hardy down last week. Hardy succeeds after Magnus refuses to use a crowbar that Bram tries to make Magnus use. Magnus and Bram argue after the match.
- Gail Kim steps up and challenges The Beautiful People. Kim beats Sky but gets laid out by Love after the match.
- Knux and his carnival freak faction returned as Menagerie member, Crazy Steve, faced Kazarian. This match honestly was a waste of time and more of a comedy act.
- Eric Young defeats MVP by DQ in the main event after Kenny King attacks EY. MVP ordered the match restarted but the referee refused. King knocks out the referee and joins in on the attack with MVP on EY. Bobby Lashley hits the ring to make the save for EY. Lashley, however, turns on EY and spears him. Lashley puts EY through two chairs with a powerslam then poses with MVP and King to close out Impact.

Quick Match Results:
- "Handicap Match": Willow def. Magnus and Bram by pin.
- Gail Kim def. Velvet Sky by pin.
- Kazarian def. Crazy Steve by DQ.
- James Storm def. Mr. Anderson by pin.
- TNA X-Division Title "Triple Threat Match": Sanada (c) def. Tigre Uno and DJ Z by pin to retain the title.
- TNA World Title: Eric Young (c) def. MVP by DQ.

TNA News and Rumors:
- Kurt Angle under went surgery this week to repair his torn ACL. Angle is expected to be out of action till October. Angle's TNA contract expires around that time frame so it is unknown where he will return to action, TNA, WWE or GFW.
- MVP tweeted out this week that he has suspended Bobby Roode indefinitely after Roode's actions last week.
- Kazarian and Hernandez have both officially left TNA. Both superstars contracts expired and both didn't resign.
- Dixie Carter sent out a tweet this week stating that MMA Fighter, Rampage Jackson, may be returning to TNA soon.

And that is a wrap my friends. I will return with more TNA News next Friday with another TNA Impact recap. Till then, tap or snap.

Wrestling Lockup With Brandon, 5.2.14: TNA Impact

What's up gang?! Welcome to another edition of Wrestling Lockup with Brandon. It's TNA Impact recap Friday in this edition. Last night was the first Impact episode following TNA's Sacrifice pay per view on Sunday. What's next for Eric Young as he successfully defended his TNA World Title against Magnus? How will Bully Ray retaliate on Dixie Carter after Dixie cost him his "Tables Match" against Bobby Roode? I'll be recapping those and recapping possible new feuds in the making that began last night. TNA's next major pay per view will be TNA Slammiversary XII, which will take place on June 15, 2014 at the College Park Center in Arlington, Texas. Let's get things started on this edition.

Highlights of Impact:
- MVP plays a card game with Bobby Roode, Mr. Anderson and Gunner. Two low cards wrestle and the high card faces the winner of the two low cards. The winner of this mini tournament would meet Eric Young for the TNA World Title in the main event. Gunner and Mr. Anderson drew low cards and faced off first. Bobby Roode would go on to win and advance to meet EY later.
- Magnus and Abyss' feud continued as Abyss attacked Magnus while he was cutting a promo about not being included in MVP's game. Magnus escaped as Abyss went to get "Janice" to use.
- Bully Ray's feud with Dixie Carter heated up as Bully brought out a table with "Dixie" written on it. Bully promised to put Dixie through it. Dixie with security in toll came out and sat on the "Dixie" table and cut a promo on how she put Bully through a table at Sacrifice. Bully takes out Dixie's security and goes to put her through the table. MVP makes the save for Dixie and bans both Dixie and Bully from the building. Bully said he was going to the next logical place....Nashville.
- ECIII finally grows a set and challenges Kurt Angle to a match next week.
- Mr. Anderson and James Storm look to be moving toward a feud as they got involved in each other's matches.
- The Beautiful People celebrate Angelina Love's Knockouts Title victory at Sacrifice by teasing a strip tease. Gail Kim, Brittney and Madison Rayne show up and fullfill the male fans fantasy by stripping Love and Sky out of their dresses.
- Eric Young continued on as the underdog fighting champion. EY faced Bobby Roode in the main event and scored a clean pin to close out the show.

Quick Match Results:
- "Endurance Match": Gunner def. Mr. Anderson by pin after James Storm interferes.
- "Endurance Match 2": Bobby Roode def. Gunner by pin.
- Willow def. James Storm by DQ after Mr. Anderson interferes.
- Sanada and The Wolves def. The Bromans and DJ Z by pin.
- TNA World Title Match: Eric Young (c) def. Bobby Roode by pin to retain the TNA World Title.

TNA News and Rumors:
- TNA Wrestling’s next On Demand “One Night Only” show to premiere on pay-per-view will be “Joker’s Wild 2″ on Friday, May 9, 2014
- Though unofficially announced yet, the main event of TNA Slammiversary is being rumored to be TNA World Champion Eric Young defending the title against MVP. I love the fact that they let Eric Young run with the TNA World Title considering he's been with the company for so long, however, if this match happens I predict MVP walks out the new champ as TNA will build MVP as a Triple H type character.
- Another big name star may be on his way out soon as Kazarian's contract expires shortly. TNA has yet to offer Kazarian a new one and his contract will end the second week of May. Kazarian will join Sting, AJ Styles, Chris Sabin and Christopher Daniels on the list of talent that has exited TNA. My prediction on this is Styles, Kazarian, Daniels and Sabin I think will all end up in Jeff Jarrett's GFW promotion.

And that's a wrap my friends I will be back next Friday for another TNA Impact recap of the show and news going on within the company. Till then tap or snap.
