Wrestling Lockup with Brandon, 6.27.14: TNA Impact

Happy Friday everyone! Welcome to Wrestling Lockup with Brandon. This edition of Wrestling Lockup is the TNA recap edition. Last week on Impact, we saw a new TNA World Champion crowned and his name is Bobby Lashley! Tommy Dreamer answered Dixie Carter's invite to the show but was beat down by Rockstar Spud and Dixie's nephew Ethan Carter III. MVP abused his power and kicked everyone and their uncle out of the building. Magnus and Bram were paid off to beat up The Wolves. And Bobby Roode who has been sitting on the sidelines with a permanent suspension from MVP, arrived from the crowd and drew the line for the power trio to cross. What would this week have in store for us? Read on my friends.

The show kicks off with some Knockouts Tag Team action.

- Angelina Love and Velvet Sky vs Gail Kim and Taryn Terrell. Match closes out with Terrell climbing the ropes and hitting a cross body block on The Beautiful People. Gail Kim scores with "Eat Defeat" and the pinfall.

- MVP congratulates Bobby Lashley on his title win. MVP expects Eric Young to ask for his release now, however, Eric Young comes out and announces he's extended his contract with TNA so he can help take out the trash. EY hits the ring and we have a 3 on 1 brawl as MVP, Kenny King and Bobby Lashley attack EY. Bobby Roode jumps the guardrail and makes the save for EY, using MVP's crutches as a weapon.
Bobby Roode cuts a very good promo afterwards on he and EY helping build TNA as a company, MVP handing him a BS suspension, EY bringing respect and honor back to TNA, how he's going to help get the company back suspended or not and do it for the fans. MVP gets in Roode's face and is ready to fire him when a man named Earl Sullivan Armstrong steps into the ring and interrupts. Armstrong is apart of the TNA Board of Directors and announces that MVP has been relieved of his duties and his replacement will be here later. A now powerless MVP gets knocked out by Bobby Roode after this huge announcement.

- "Four Way, X-Division Title Match": Sanada (c) vs DJ Z vs Manik vs Crazy Steve. Match closes with Sanada hitting a double underhook suplex on DJ Z for the pinfall to retain the title.

- Dixie Carter is celebrating, thinking she has full control of TNA now with MVP out of the picture. Earl Sullivan Armstrong arrives to tell Dixie that there is a new person in charge but it's not her. Dixie is livid as Bully Ray appears. Dixie tries to bribe Bully with money but Bully isn't having it because he wants to put Dixie through a table. Ethan Carter III hits the ring but gets taken out by Bully. Bully grabs Dixie and puts her on his shoulders. Rockstar Spud runs in and moves the table. Dixie manages to escape with ECIII and avoids the table again.

- James Storm vs Mr. Anderson. Match closes out with Storm blocking the "Mic Check" and hitting the "Last Call" to score the pinfall.

- Gunner tells Samuel Shaw he is getting him released from his cell. Shaw has to have supervision and therapy, Gunner will be Shaw's sponsor.

- Tommy Dreamer shows up unannounced and attacks Ethan Carter III backstage. Dreamer and ECIII brawl throughout the backstage area and all the way out to the ring. Both men try to destroy each other until TNA Security rush the ring and separate both men.

- "Monster's Ball Match": Jeff "Willow" Hardy and Abyss vs Magnus and Bram. Match Highlights: Bram and Magnus beat down Hardy and Abyss with trash cans and kendo sticks. Hardy connects with a corner drop kick and chair shot on Bram, then places a trash can on Bram's head and drop kicks the can. Magnus connects with chair shots to Abyss. Abyss brings out "Janice" but gets the weapon stuck in the turn buckle while swinging it. Abyss gets handcuffed to the barricade by Bram allowing a 2 on 1 on Hardy. Abyss eventually breaks free and is back in the match. Hardy takes a chair shot to the head and crashes through a barbed wire board. The match closes out with Abyss laying out thumbtacks and choke slamming Magnus right on the tacks. Bram has "Janice" and hits Abyss right in the gut with the weapon and scores the pinfall.

- Kurt Angle is announced as the new Director of Operations. Angle gets interrupted by MVP who's mad about being replaced by Angle. MVP, Kenny King and Bobby Lashley threaten Angle but Angle threatens to fire them if they lay one finger on him. Kurt Angle announces that Eric Young will get his TNA World Title rematch against Bobby Lashley and he is officially reinstating Bobby Roode. Eric Young and Bobby Roode hit the ring and brawl with Kenny King and Bobby Lashley as Kurt Angle looks on as Impact comes to an end.

And that closes out this week's Impact recap. I will be back next Friday afternoon for another TNA Impact recap. Until then, tap or snap.

Wrestling Lockup with Brandon, 6.16.14: TNA Slammiversary

Wrestling Lockup with Brandon returns on this special Monday afternoon edition. I am back from my week hiatus and will be returning to my normal routine of bringing you WWE and TNA recaps for the week. Today's recap is all about TNA. Incase you missed it, TNA held their twelfth annual Slammiversary event last night. The Slammiversary event has always served as TNA's anniversary show of the company's existence, which began June 19th, 2002. This year's event took place live at the College Park Center in Arlington, Texas.

**Recap Note**
MVP suffered an injury and was unable to compete at Slammiversary. Due to this, his match against Eric Young for the TNA World Title in the main event was changed. The winners of Samoa Joe vs Bobby Lashley and Austin Aries vs Kenny King would be placed in a Triple Threat Steel Cage Match with Eric Young for the TNA World Title.

- The show kicked off with Kenny King complaining to MVP with Bobby Lashley looking on. King promises he's leaving tonight TNA World Champion. MVP promises not to get involved in any of the matches tonight involving King and Lashley a little later in the show.

- "Ladder Match, X-Division Title:" Sanada (c) vs. Manik vs. Crazy Steve vs. Tigre Uno vs. Eddie Edwards vs. Davey Richards. Match Highlights: Manik, Uno and The Wolves all go airbourne over the ropes early in the match. Sanada hits a moonsault on Crazy Steve on a ladder. The Wolves put Uno through a ladder. The Wolves, exchanged punches with each other on top of the ladder. Manik hits a sunset flip power bomb on Richards through a ladder. Match closes with Sanada climbing the ladder, grabbing the X-Division Title and retaining the gold.

- Bobby Lashley vs Samoa Joe. Match closes with Joe going for the "Muscle Buster". Lashley escapes and Joe almost takes out the referee. Joe actually stops to check on the referee and eats a spear by Lashley giving Lashley the pinfall. Lashley advances to the TNA World Title Match later.

- Jeff "Willow" Hardy w/Abyss vs Magnus w/Bram. Match closes with everyone getting involved. Abyss and Bram fight in the ring. Hardy hits "Twist of Fate" on Magnus but he kicks out at two. Bram has a metal bar, Abyss grabs "Janice". Abyss stalks Bram to the backstage area, with "Janice" in hand. Magnus hits a belly to belly on Hardy for the pinfall.

- Kurt Angle is inside the ring and announces that Bully Ray and Devon, Team 3D, are the newest inductees into the TNA Hall of Fame. Bully and Devon give thank you speeches.

- Kenny King vs Austin Aries. Match closes with King and Aries battling towards the corner of the ring. King gets Aries set up on his shoulders while sitting on the top turnbuckle. Aries escapes and hits a brainbuster superplex off the top-rope for the pinfall. Aries advances to the TNA World Title Match later.

- Marshall and Ross Von Erich vs. Jessie Godderz & Zema Ion. Match closes with Marshall hitting a standing moonsault on Jessie. Ion grabs a chair and hits Marshall with it, giving the Von Erich's the DQ win. The legendary Kevin Von Erich hits the ring and applies "The Claw" to the delight of the Von Erich's native Texas crowd.

- "TNA Knockouts Title:" Angelina Love (c) vs. Gail Kim. Referee shenanigans in this match as Referee Stiffler appeared to miss Love and Velvet Sky cheating. Referee Hebner arrives and ejected Sky then appeared to take over Referee Stiffler's duties. Match closes out with Kim accidentally knocking out Referee Hebner with a dropkick. Kim hits "Eat Defeat" on Love but Referee Stiffler refuses to count with Referee Hebner still knocked out. Kim rolls Love up for another pin but again no count from Stiffler. Love reverses the rollup into a pin of her own and Stiffler makes the three count helping Angelina Love retain the TNA Knockouts Title.

- "Texas Death Match": Bully Ray vs Ethan Carter III. Match Highlights: Hardcore at its finest. Tables, ladders, a bullrope with a cow bell, chains, kendo sticks, cheese grater, glass and chairs. Bully attacks ECIII with the bullrope and cow bell. ECIII gets solid steel chair shots in. Bully goes "ECW" on ECIII as he brings out the cheese grater and grates some Carter skin. Bully pulls out a box cutter and cuts up the ring, exposing the wood base of the mat underneath. Rockstar Spud gets involved with a kendo stick shot to Bully's back that causes no damage. Shards of glass are laid out in the middle of the ring and Bully "3D's" ECIII right on them. The match closes out with Bully laying ECIII on a table. Dixie Carter runs out and distracts Bully. ECIII accidentally takes out his aunt then gets taken out by Bully. Bully lays Dixie across multiple tables and climbs the ropes. ECIII regains himself and blasts Bully with a kendo stick. Spud grabs Dixie out of the way as Bully falls and crashes through the tables. Bully can't answer the ten count as ECIII gets the W.

- Mr. Anderson vs James Storm. The match closes out with James Storm getting into it with the Dallas Cowboys football team in the front row. TNA officials storm the scene to separate the madness. Storm gets a "Mic Check" from Mr. Anderson during the chaos which allows Anderson to score the pin.

- "Triple Threat Steel Cage Match, TNA World Title:" Eric Young (c) vs. Bobby Lashley vs Austin Aries. Match Highlights: Aries hit a hurricanrana off the top rope on Lashley. EY hit a giant splash off the top of the cage on Lashley. Lashley goes for a spear on EY, EY dodges and Lashley goes right through the steel cage wall and lands on the floor. The match closes out with Aries hitting a full speed drop kick on EY in the corner. Aries goes for the brainbuster, however, EY reverses into a piledriver and scores the pinfall to retain the TNA World Title.

And that wrapped up the 12th annual TNA Slammiversary event. I will be back Friday afternoon with more TNA action, recapping the fallout of the pay per view on TNA Impact. Until then my friends, tap or snap!

Wrestling Lockup with Brandon, 5.23.14: TNA Impact

What's up gang, it's Friday afternoon and it's time for the TNA Impact recap. Last week on Impact, we saw a new alliance formed as MVP, Kenny King and Bobby Lashley attacked TNA World Champion, Eric Young. Bully Ray broke into Dixie Carter's house looking for revenge for what happened at TNA Sacrifice, only to be knocked out by Ethan Carter III. Gail Kim challenged The Beautiful People and was left laid out by Angelina Love. Jeff "Willow" Hardy continued his feud with Magnus and Bram. Magnus and Bram continued arguing with each other as things didn't go Bram's way. What would this week hold as TNA Slammiversary gets closer.

Highlights of Impact:
- Impact kicked off explosively tonight! The new faction of MVP, Kenny King and Bobby Lashley cut promos about power and how stupid the fans are. The Wolves, MVP's old running buddies, arrive and all hell breaks loose as we have a brawl. Eddie Edwards and Davey Richards hold their own for a bit but eventually the 3 on 2 disadvantage bites them. Lashley spears the hell out of Edwards then spears Richards off the stage and through a table. Eddie Edwards returned for round 2 later in the evening alone as Davey Richards was injured in the opening attack. Edwards failed alone as he was laid out by Kenny King.
- MVP, King and Lashley's night was far from over as TNA World Champion, Eric Young, was still on the hunt for the newly formed faction. Young confronted the three men and another fight breaks out. Austin Aries hits the ring for back up for EY. Austin Aries would face MVP later tonight.
- Austin Aries battled MVP. The match ends in a DQ as Lashley and King hit the ring. Aries gets beat down till Eric Young hits the ring for the save. Young however gets beat down and is told by MVP he's fighting Lashley in the main event.
- Dixie Carter and Ethan Carter III arrive and confront MVP. Carter is here because she feels MVP is abusing his power. Bully Ray, who was banned from the arena, arrives with a weapon in hand, forcing Dixie and EC3 to quickly exit the ring. Bully suffers a 3 on 1 beat down from MVP, King and Lashley as Dixie looks on. Bully then gets put through a table by EC3 and Dixie stands over Bully's body, still fearing no one.
- Angelina Love threw out an open challenge to any Knockout in the locker room for a TNA Knockout Title Match. Brittany answered the challenge but came up short as Love took the win with Velvet Sky's help. Love and Sky humiliate Brittnay after the match with their trademarked lip stick smear and brown paper bag over the head routine. Gail Kim hits the ring and makes the save.
- Jeff "Willow" Hardy faced Magnus in a "Last Man Standing Match" continuing their feud. Hardy wins as Bram is disgusted with Magnus losing again.
- James Storm and Mr. Anderson had a beer drinking contest. Anderson who was secretly drinking non-alcoholic beer ends up attacking Storm once Storm was drunk enough to attack and lays him out.
- Eric Young battled Bobby Lashley in the main event. Lashley picks up the win. Young gets beat down again by the trio till Austin Aries tries to make the save. Aries ends up getting beat down again too. Impact ends with MVP, King and Lashley celebrating as they dominated the whole show.

Quick Match Results:
- TNA Knockouts Title: Angelina Love (c) def. Brittany by pin.
- Austin Aries def. MVP by DQ.
- "Last Man Standing Match": Jeff "Willow" Hardy def. Magnus by pin.
- Bobby Lashley def. Eric Young by pin.

Twitter Corner:
- Bobby Roode sent out a tweet this week about his current suspension by MVP. Roode tweeted "Week 2 of my Bull S*** suspension.... @The305MVP you do realize, you can't keep me gone forever......." Roode looks like a man on a mission and has his sights set on the current money man of TNA.
- Dixie Carter tweeted out her comments on tonight after the show on Twitter with the following. "@REALBully5150 must REALLY love tables… he went through another one." I'm sure Bully has revenge on his mind, and a table with Dixie and Ethan's names on it.

That will wrap this week's recap of TNA Impact up. I will be back next Friday afternoon with another TNA Impact recap. Wrestling Lockup with Brandon, 5.16.14: TNA Impact

Welcome back to Wrestling Lockup with Brandon. It's Friday, and it's TNA Impact recap time. Last week on Impact we saw MVP reveal to the world that he was the #1 Contender to Eric Young's TNA World Title. MVP attacked EY and put himself in the main event for the world title at Slammiversary. Kurt Angle appeared to have blown out his knee in his match with Ethan Carter III. Magnus' friend, Bram, viciously attacked Jeff "Willow" Hardy. Knux debuted with his carnival freak faction, The Menagerie. Mr. Anderson and James Storm would meet this week in one on one action.

Highlights of Impact:
- Eric Young tries to confront MVP as he arrived to the arena, however, security pulled EY away from MVP. EY says all MVP had to do was ask for a title shot instead of attacking him like he did. MVP says he'll let EY hold the title for a couple more weeks till he takes it from him. Later in the show, EY and MVP, begin brawling with each other backstage and down to the ring. MVP leaves EY laid out in the ring and tells EY he's defending the title tonight against MVP.
- Dixie and Rockstar Spud arrive at Dixie's house to find a table with her name on it in her yard. Bully Ray calls Dixie on her phone and claims to be in her house. Dixie orders Spud to go in and investigate cause she signs his paychecks. Bully calls back later to tell Dixie that Spud is a little tied up and she's all alone. Dixie finds Spud tied up and is finally face to face with Bully. Bully says he'll leave her alone and move on after she admits to the world that she fears Bully. Ethan Carter III knocks Bully out from behind and Dixie says that she fears no one.
- Jeff "Willow" Hardy looks to get revenge on Magnus and his friend, Bram, after Bram handcuffed and beat Hardy down last week. Hardy succeeds after Magnus refuses to use a crowbar that Bram tries to make Magnus use. Magnus and Bram argue after the match.
- Gail Kim steps up and challenges The Beautiful People. Kim beats Sky but gets laid out by Love after the match.
- Knux and his carnival freak faction returned as Menagerie member, Crazy Steve, faced Kazarian. This match honestly was a waste of time and more of a comedy act.
- Eric Young defeats MVP by DQ in the main event after Kenny King attacks EY. MVP ordered the match restarted but the referee refused. King knocks out the referee and joins in on the attack with MVP on EY. Bobby Lashley hits the ring to make the save for EY. Lashley, however, turns on EY and spears him. Lashley puts EY through two chairs with a powerslam then poses with MVP and King to close out Impact.

Quick Match Results:
- "Handicap Match": Willow def. Magnus and Bram by pin.
- Gail Kim def. Velvet Sky by pin.
- Kazarian def. Crazy Steve by DQ.
- James Storm def. Mr. Anderson by pin.
- TNA X-Division Title "Triple Threat Match": Sanada (c) def. Tigre Uno and DJ Z by pin to retain the title.
- TNA World Title: Eric Young (c) def. MVP by DQ.

TNA News and Rumors:
- Kurt Angle under went surgery this week to repair his torn ACL. Angle is expected to be out of action till October. Angle's TNA contract expires around that time frame so it is unknown where he will return to action, TNA, WWE or GFW.
- MVP tweeted out this week that he has suspended Bobby Roode indefinitely after Roode's actions last week.
- Kazarian and Hernandez have both officially left TNA. Both superstars contracts expired and both didn't resign.
- Dixie Carter sent out a tweet this week stating that MMA Fighter, Rampage Jackson, may be returning to TNA soon.

And that is a wrap my friends. I will return with more TNA News next Friday with another TNA Impact recap. Till then, tap or snap.

Wrestling Lockup With Brandon, 5.2.14: TNA Impact

What's up gang?! Welcome to another edition of Wrestling Lockup with Brandon. It's TNA Impact recap Friday in this edition. Last night was the first Impact episode following TNA's Sacrifice pay per view on Sunday. What's next for Eric Young as he successfully defended his TNA World Title against Magnus? How will Bully Ray retaliate on Dixie Carter after Dixie cost him his "Tables Match" against Bobby Roode? I'll be recapping those and recapping possible new feuds in the making that began last night. TNA's next major pay per view will be TNA Slammiversary XII, which will take place on June 15, 2014 at the College Park Center in Arlington, Texas. Let's get things started on this edition.

Highlights of Impact:
- MVP plays a card game with Bobby Roode, Mr. Anderson and Gunner. Two low cards wrestle and the high card faces the winner of the two low cards. The winner of this mini tournament would meet Eric Young for the TNA World Title in the main event. Gunner and Mr. Anderson drew low cards and faced off first. Bobby Roode would go on to win and advance to meet EY later.
- Magnus and Abyss' feud continued as Abyss attacked Magnus while he was cutting a promo about not being included in MVP's game. Magnus escaped as Abyss went to get "Janice" to use.
- Bully Ray's feud with Dixie Carter heated up as Bully brought out a table with "Dixie" written on it. Bully promised to put Dixie through it. Dixie with security in toll came out and sat on the "Dixie" table and cut a promo on how she put Bully through a table at Sacrifice. Bully takes out Dixie's security and goes to put her through the table. MVP makes the save for Dixie and bans both Dixie and Bully from the building. Bully said he was going to the next logical place....Nashville.
- ECIII finally grows a set and challenges Kurt Angle to a match next week.
- Mr. Anderson and James Storm look to be moving toward a feud as they got involved in each other's matches.
- The Beautiful People celebrate Angelina Love's Knockouts Title victory at Sacrifice by teasing a strip tease. Gail Kim, Brittney and Madison Rayne show up and fullfill the male fans fantasy by stripping Love and Sky out of their dresses.
- Eric Young continued on as the underdog fighting champion. EY faced Bobby Roode in the main event and scored a clean pin to close out the show.

Quick Match Results:
- "Endurance Match": Gunner def. Mr. Anderson by pin after James Storm interferes.
- "Endurance Match 2": Bobby Roode def. Gunner by pin.
- Willow def. James Storm by DQ after Mr. Anderson interferes.
- Sanada and The Wolves def. The Bromans and DJ Z by pin.
- TNA World Title Match: Eric Young (c) def. Bobby Roode by pin to retain the TNA World Title.

TNA News and Rumors:
- TNA Wrestling’s next On Demand “One Night Only” show to premiere on pay-per-view will be “Joker’s Wild 2″ on Friday, May 9, 2014
- Though unofficially announced yet, the main event of TNA Slammiversary is being rumored to be TNA World Champion Eric Young defending the title against MVP. I love the fact that they let Eric Young run with the TNA World Title considering he's been with the company for so long, however, if this match happens I predict MVP walks out the new champ as TNA will build MVP as a Triple H type character.
- Another big name star may be on his way out soon as Kazarian's contract expires shortly. TNA has yet to offer Kazarian a new one and his contract will end the second week of May. Kazarian will join Sting, AJ Styles, Chris Sabin and Christopher Daniels on the list of talent that has exited TNA. My prediction on this is Styles, Kazarian, Daniels and Sabin I think will all end up in Jeff Jarrett's GFW promotion.

And that's a wrap my friends I will be back next Friday for another TNA Impact recap of the show and news going on within the company. Till then tap or snap.

Wrestling Lockup With Brandon, 4.28.14: TNA Sacrifice 2014

Welcome everyone to a pay per view only special edition of Wrestling Lockup with Brandon.

Last night TNA held their 9th Annual Sacrifice pay per view, live at The Impact Zone in Orlando, Florida. Newly crowned TNA World Champion "EY" Eric Young defended his title in the main event against former champion, Magnus. We saw the return of Kurt Angle in tag team action, teaming with Jeff Hardy's alter ego, Willow. Current and former Beautiful People members met with the TNA Knockouts Title on the line. All that and many other highlights. So lets get down to business and get this review started, shall we?!

- "Handicap Match" for the TNA Tag Team Titles: DJ Z and The Bro Mans (c) vs The Wolves. Before the match begins it's announced that MVP has made this match a "No DQ Match". This new stipulation almost costs The Wolves early as DJ Z uses laptops on The Wolves giving the Bro Mans the advantage. The match closes out with The Wolves hitting double running foot stomps and scoring the pinfall.
WINNERS: New TNA Tag Team Champions, The Wolves.

- "Committed Match": Mr. Anderson vs Samuel Shaw. Shaw does his best to avoid Anderson as the bell sounded. Shaw spends a lot of time being distracted by Christy Hemme and gives chase to her after choking Anderson out with his trademark choke hold. Anderson comes to and the brawl with Shaw goes all over the arena and out to the backstage area where the padded van is parked. The match closes out with Hemme low blowing Shaw and Anderson "Mic Checking" Shaw into the van for the victory.
WINNER: Mr. Anderson

- Kurt Angle and Willow vs ECIII and Rockstar Spud. Typical tag match, nothing special. ECIII tried to avoid Angle through most of the beginning. Willow and Angle hit a "Twist of Fate" "Angle Slam" "Swanton Bomb" trifecta to close out the match for the pin.
WINNERS: Angle and Willow

- TNA X-Division Title: Sanada (c) vs Tigre Uno. Good X-Division bout in match 3 of 3 between Sanada and Uno with the series tied at 1. Sanada hits his trademark moonsault for the pin to close out the match.
WINNER: Still TNA X-Division Champion, Sanada

- "I Quit Match": Gunner vs James Storm. Very intense hardcore match with a nice supply of weapons. Kendo sticks, ring steps, trash cans, trash can lids, chairs, stop signs. Storm at one point busted Gunner wide open after connecting with his beer bottle to the head. The match ends with Gunner superplexing Storm onto a guardrail set up on top of two chairs then rakes a piece of glass from the broken beer bottle across Storm's forehead until Storm announces that he quits.
WINNER: Gunner

- TNA Knockouts Title: Madison Rayne (c) vs. Angelina Love. Typical women's wrestling match between the former and current Beautiful People members. Rayne has Love pinned however Velvet Sky distracts the referee. As Rayne tries to get the referees attention back into the match, Rayne gets sprayed in the eyes by Sky allowing Love to grab the roll up pinfall.
WINNER: New TNA Knockouts Champion, Angelina Love

- "Tables Match": Bully Ray vs. Bobby Roode. Decent brawl and like any other table match, Ray and Roode set them up but fail to put each other through them. Ray puts Roode through a table for what should have been the victory however the referee was knocked out. Ray climbed to the top rope and attempted to put Roode through another table. A fan jumped onto the apron dressed in a hat and beard disguise and pushes Ray off the top rope and crashing through the tables set up on the floor. The referee sees Ray fall through the tables, calls the match and announces Roode the winner. The desguised fan revealed themselves to be Dixie Carter. Carter smiles at a broken Bully Ray and tells him to never double cross her ever again.
WINNER: Bobby Roode

- TNA World Title: Eric Young (c) vs Magnus. Young showed off his never give up attitude against the powerful Magnus. Young even though he was the champ he was clearly the underdog in the match. Young proved all the doubters wrong as he hit Magnus with the second of two piledrivers then dropped an elbow "ala Macho Man" from the top rope on Magnus to score the pin and retain the title.
WINNER: Still TNA World Champion, Eric Young

And that closes out the 9th Annual Sacrifice PPV. I'll be back Friday afternoon with more TNA News and TNA Impact results. Until then tap or snap.
