This week's RAW was live in Oakland, California at the Oracle Arena where the locker room still smells like champagne from that oh so sweet Cleveland Cavaliers championship win back in June. (Yes I'm still bragging about it...DEAL WITH IT!). Sasha Banks has a match proposal for former WWE RAW Women's Champion Charlotte. Cesaro battled Kofi Kingston one on one. Bayley battled Cami Fields one on one. Sin Cara and Lince Dorado battled Drew Gulak and Tony Nese in tag team action. Mick Foley holds a Hell In A Cell Address. Curtis Axel and Bo Dallas demanded a tag team to face tonight. Titus O'Neil battled R-Truth one on one. The Splash Brothers look to upset the monster Braun Strowman. WWE United States Champion Roman Reigns and WWE Women's Champion Sasha Banks team up to battle Rusev and Charlotte in a tag team match. Paul Heyman lays down a challenge for Goldberg. WWE Cruiserweight Champion TJ Perkins battled Ariya Daivari in a non title one on one match. In the main event Chris Jericho battled Seth Rollins with a spot in the WWE Universal Championship Hell In A Cell Match on the line for Jericho.

*** RAW ***

- Sasha Banks Promo: The new WWE RAW Women's Champion Sasha Banks kicks off RAW in the ring. Sasha remembers watching her idols Eddie Guerrero, Trish Stratus and Lita growing up. Sasha does this for the ones that paved the way for her, the women of today and for the future of women's wrestling. Sasha proposes a rematch to Charlotte that will break the barrier in women's wrestling. Sasha suggests a WWE RAW Women's Championship Match at WWE Hell In A Cell inside the Hell In A Cell. Charlotte asks Rusev who he is because no one disrespects the Queen of wrestling. Charlotte then goes on to accept Sasha's match. Rusev grabs the microphone again, but Sasha slaps it out of his hand. Lana steps up and says that Sasha and Charlotte are lost whiny little girls that need to know their place. Lana and Rusev both get shoved down by Sasha and Charlotte. Wrestling Lockup with Brandon, 1.17.15: SmackDown Results

By @B_Rock1978

Wrestling Lockup with Brandon, brought to you by Triple Threat CLE. Today's edition is your Smackdown recap from last night's show. Smackdown took place in Baton Rouge, Louisiana this week. A city so great that Garth Brooks wrote a country song about it. This past Monday on RAW, it was announced we would see the in ring return of Daniel Bryan on Smackdown tonight. Seth Rollins "Curb Stomped" the hell out of both John Cena and Brock Lesnar, as he prepares for his shot at the WWE World Heavyweight Championship. And The Authority continued to run the show and make everyone's life hell that was against them. What would Smackdown, on its brand new night of Thursday, have for us this week? Read on my friends.

- In Ring Segment with Daniel Bryan: Bryan talks about his opponent, tonight, Kane. They used to be tag team champions together and friends until Kane traded the mask in for a corporate suit. Naomi thesz presses Fox and they end up on the floor. One of the Usos go to super kick Miz but Miz dodges, causing Sandow to take the hit. Miz hits the "Skull Crushing Finale" and scores the pinfall.

- Backstage Segment with Roman Reigns: Reigns hypes up tonight's six man tag match. Says there should be no problem for Reigns, Ambrose and Bryan to coexist together and screw The Authority.

- In Ring Segment with Paul Heyman: Brags about Brock Lesnar's accomplishments, says Brock took out Undertaker and Cena, either because he wanted to or because he had nothing else better to do. Next he mentions Seth Rollins and out comes Rollins on cue. Rollins says he's sick of people being afraid of Lesnar and wants to cash in his Money In The Bank briefcase tonight (Lesnar's not there, conveniently). Rollins decides to take out Paul Heyman instead then, since Lesnar isn't in the building. Rollins traps Heyman in the corner but Heyman talks his way out of it. Heyman says Rollins is the one gaining power every night, says Lesnar can either be the champion now or protect the future champion (Rollins) when he decides the future is now. Rollins thinks about it and lets Heyman go to end the segment.

- Nattie Neidhart vs. Nikki Bella: Nikki works on Nattie's arm to start the match with armbreakers and submissions. Nattie fights back with a drop kick and a running knee on Nikki, for a two count. Nattie goes for the "Sharpshooter" but Brie Bella runs distraction on the apron. Paige lands a slap on Nikki during the distraction. Nattie reapplies the "Sharpshooter" on Nikki and Nikki eventually taps out.

- "WWE Intercontinental Championship Match": Bad News Barrett (c) vs. Sin Cara: Sin Cara pulled off the upset victory over Barrett on Smackdown last week and earned himself a shot at the WWE I-C Title this week. Sin Cara looks to become only the second person (Paige being the first) to hold both an NXT title and a WWE title at the same time. Sin Cara quick rollup for two. Barrett drops Cara with a boot, then works Cara over with elbows. Cara fights back with three springboard cross body splashes. Barrett hits Cara with the "Winds of Change" then sets Cara up for the "Bullhammer". Cara counters and one arm slams Barrett. Cara goes for another springboard but catches the "Bullhammer" from Barrett. Barrett covers, scores the pinfall and retains the WWE I-C Title.

- Backstage Segment with Dean Ambrose: More build up to tonight's main event. Ambrose says he doesn't play well with others. Talks Royal Rumble, his partners tonight will be his enemies at the Rumble, but his focus is on ending The Authority.

- "Six Man Tag Match": Daniel Bryan, Roman Reigns and Dean Ambrose vs. Seth Rollins, Big Show and Kane: Ambrose and Reigns beatdown Rollins at the bell. All hell breaks loose with a six man brawl. The Authority gain control and work over Ambrose with quick tags. Rollins works on Ambrose's arm until another six man brawl breaks out. Ambrose finally hot tags Bryan who lands drop kicks on everyone. Bryan with a hurricanrana on Rollins for a near fall. Kane choke slams Bryan but Reigns breaks up the pinfall. Show and Reigns go at it on the floor. Show lands a boot, but Reigns is unstoppable, as he spears Show over the announcers table.
Bryan locks in the "Yes Lock" submission on Kane, but Rollins breaks it up. Ambrose climbs the ropes and hits his flying elbow/cross body combo on Rollins, Mercury and Noble. Bryan hits the running knee on Kane, covers and gets the pinfall. After the match, Triple H interrupts the good guys celebration and closes Smackdown out as he announces that next week on Smackdown, Daniel Bryan will face Kane and if Bryan loses then he is banned from the Royal Rumble.

And that's this week's Smackdown. Have a great weekend, till next time, tap or snap.
