Leadoff with Lee 4.2.15 #Romo #Blatt #Cavs #NFLDraft #NHLPlayoffs

By @cleeverizon

- The Dallas Cowboys have restructured the contract of quarterback Tony Romo to free up $13M in salary cap room. Romo's base salary for 2015 was $17M. With the restructured contract, his salary for this season will be $1M. The remaining $16M will be converted over in the form of a signing bonus, therefore he will still see the full $17M. Even though his contract was restructured, the Cowboys will still feel the effect of a cap hit if Romo is ever released from the team in the next 4 years. $20.8M in 2016, $24.7M in 2017, $25.2M in 2018 and $23.7M in 2019.

Reports have surfaced that the money was freed up for a possible draft day trade with the Minnesota Vikings for running back Adrian Peterson. The Cowboys signed Darren McFadden as a possible starter this off season and could be used as a trade piece to the Vikings.

Cleveland also set a franchise record for three-pointers made in a single month with 184, while also setting a team record with nine straight road games of at least 10 triples from March 1-25. The Cavs were a perfect 5-0 at home and were tied for the most road wins in the East at 6-4. David Blatt becomes the 5th coach in Cavs history to receive the monthly honor.

- Baltimore Ravens safety Ed Reed announced his retirement from the NFL on Wednesday. The 9 time Pro Bowler also played for the Texans and Jets. He was drafted in 2002 by the Ravens from the University of Miami. In 2004, he won the NFL defensive player of the year. Reed was a consensus All-American in college at Miami. Reed scored 13 touchdowns with the Ravens on three blocked punts, one punt return, two fumble returns and seven interception returns.

For his career, Reed had 64 interceptions, 643 tackles, 11 forced fumbles and six sacks. (This may have been a April Fools Day joke by Reed, but he hasn't played in the league since 2013).

Chris Williams and I started this site kind of out of frustration when our favorite sports talk show was taken off the radio. We went through a lot of trial and error before things started to stabilize. Through our readers and followers, we will be the "New Voices" of Cleveland sports talk. We have a few things in the hopper right now and it's about to get hot and start popping!

But thank you guys and girls for the love and support. Also thanks to our writers and contributors. This couldn't be done without your help. We won't just be on the air, we will be in the air worldwide! So let's get this done! Follow all my people on twitter too!
